"Hey, she's an amazing woman, can you blame me?" Sam asked with a broad grin, unable to help it and not even really fazed by Dean's words. He blinked, though, arching a brow. "What are you doing?" His gaze dropped to his phone when he got the pictures, though, and he grinned, shifting to take a picture of himself to send to her, just so that she could have it. You look like you're enjoying yourself.

Aveline smiled to herself when she heard her phone go off, but she didn't reach for it, focusing on the drive. It didn't take too long to arrive and she parked her car before she climbed out, looking at the garage before she chewed on her lip and made her way inside.

"Cleaning around, what does it look like?" Dean asked. "Aveline's on her way, and I need to make sure this place looks presentable. She's keeping me company for the afternoon." Dean told Sam with a smile. "Man, this feels like a rush, it's crazy." He looked to his brother. Seeing Aveline enter the building, he smiled. "Hey, you. Are you and the car friends again now?" He teased. "Aveline, this is my brother, Sam." He introduced with a smile.

Niamh bit her lip as she got the photo Sam had taken, absolutely adoring everything about him. Moving the chair back and forth to relax her patient, Niamh texted with one hand, smiling. I am! Also, your face? I like it. She laughed quietly in amusement, humming to herself.

Sam arched an amused brow. "Who knew you'd clean for a girl?" he teased his brother lightly, but shrugged slightly. "Should I get out of your hair, then, to avoid disturbing you two?" His gaze dropped to his phone, though, and he smiled. I'm glad you're enjoying yourself. I also happen to really like your face as well. How's work going? He sent the text before looking to Dean when he joined the woman who'd just entered, and he smiled, waving. "Hi there. It's nice to meet you."

"For now, until she breaks my heart again," Aveline told him with a small grin as she held her sandwich and waved at Sam. "It's nice to meet you, too," she told him with a smile, though her attention easily went back to Dean, finding it just too easy to gravitate towards him.

Dean smiled at Aveline. "I know it's notthe comfiest place in the world, but get comfortable." He told her with a smile. "I wanna show you this Mini, just came in this morning." He wasn't sure how he knew that, but having retained the other Dean's memories, Dean smiled. "She's a beauty." He told Aveline. "If I bore you, just tell me." Dean joked.

Niamh sent another photo of herself blowing up surgical gloves to look like a turkey. It's quiet. I'm just at the nurses station, being bored. It's nap time for the younger ones and the older ones are watching movies. She smiled.

Aveline smiled slightly, nodding slightly. "I'm sure it won't be too hard," she assured him before she offered a small grin, "Really? I'd love to see her." But, she shook her head slightly, watching him for a long moment. "I don't think you could ever bore me, Dean."

Sam grinned at the picture he received, eyeing it for a moment. Are you allowed to have guests or visitors at work? He sent the text, hopeful that she was, hoping to see her in her work environment, but mostly just wanting to see her and spend time with her.

Dean smiled. "Right this way." He took Aveline's hand, leading her to the main part of the garage, leading her to a run down Mini. "Owner told me to put her to the junkyard, she's too pretty to do that, so I'm gonna fix her up." He smiled. "Might be a good little choice for you."

Niamh smiled. I am, actually! This place is pretty much free house to friends and family. Plus, I'd love to spend some more time with you. She smiled, sending him her location so he had directions to the hospital, still spinning around in the chair.

Aveline blinked, though she could feel her heart swell the moment he had her hand and she followed him, easily distracted with the feeling. "Really?" she asked with curiosity, "How much would she cost, then? And don't say she's free."

Sam grinned with the mention of it. I'll be there soon. He promised before he made his way out of the garage, figuring Dean was occupied enough that he wouldn't notice. Immediately, he headed to the hospital, eager to see Niamh.

Dean laughed at Aveline's adamant behaviour. "I'll tell you what - call it fifty dollars for the paint job, and if you're free this evening, we can upgrade our coffee date to a dinner date, that'll call it even." He smiled genuinely, unsure if he would be there the next day and wanting to make the most of being around Aveline, although he dreaded the thought of leaving her at all.

Niamh smiled as she checked on the younger ones, checking on the older ones and smiling when she saw they were pre-occupied with watching Moana. Heading back to the nurses station, Niamh smiled as she saw Sam enter the ward. "Hey," she greeted, approaching him happily, feeling the rush of adrenaline when she saw his face.

"Ooh, that still sounds a little unfair to you," Aveline said, making a slight face as she watched him, though she wasn't sure she could get him to budge any more than that, so she eventually nodded, nudging him gently. "Alright, alright, I'll agree to it. But only because I'm not good at bargaining." She laughed, happy to see his smile either way.

Sam grinned slightly, perking up fairly quickly when he saw Niamh there. "Hey," he greeted quietly, taking her in. "I know we just saw each other not even an hour ago, but it already felt like too long." He grinned jokingly, not wanting to be too pushy or overwhelming, but he really had missed her already; it was such an odd thing, but he embraced it completely.

Dean laughed at Aveline, meaning it in the kindest way. "See, my bargaining skills? Pretty top of the league." He smiled. "So, got any good suggestions to a nice place to eat?" He asked, wanting to treat Aveline like a Princess - not even wanting to make a good impression, just wanting her to feel good and be happy around him.

Niamh smiled. "I feel exactly the same." She admitted, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear shyly. "Welcome to Hope Ward." She smiled, letting him sit down at the nurses station, leaning on the desk beside him. "So, skipping work huh?" She teased, admiring him as she relaxed, not realising how much she'd missed his presence until he was there with her again.

Aveline smiled, shaking her head slightly. "Such a brag," she teased lightly, watching him, happy to take him in while she could, wanting to continue to spend time with him and get to know him and joke with him. "Um... There are a few places. I guess it depends on your preference to eat?"

Sam chuckled quietly and shrugged slightly as he watched her before he sat down, taking her in. "Something like that," he said, "Most of what I had to do today was just read through a few case files. I can do that at home, so I'm sure it'll be just fine. How's work been since you got here?"

"I'm a burger kinda guy." Dean smiled, the sight of Aveline's smile the best thing Dean had ever witnessed, in his life, and he'd seen so much. "So," he sat on the trunk of the Mini, planning to fix it up to a high standard for Aveline, watching her closely. "Tell me more about you. I'm curious. One person can't be so perfect, there's gotta be a flaw there somewhere." He joked.

Niamh smiled. "Steady going. Visiting times are over, so the little ones are napping before dinner and the older ones are watching Moana in the activity room, so I've just gotta write some notes." She smiled, hinting to the open file on the desk beside her. "Got someone going to surgery in an hour, so I gotta make sure the paperwork is all set." She explained, hoping she wasn't boring Sam with all the technical talk.

"Ooh, burgers?" Aveline asked as she thought about it for a moment. "There's a place nearby that just specializes in different burgers and they're honestly amazing, if you'd like to try that?" She grinned slightly with the thought of it, but she blinked, mildly surprised, and offered an amused look. "Oh? Well... I work in the local library. I didn't put my degree to use at all." She laughed. "Does that count as a flaw?"

Sam listened quietly, nodding as he watched her. "What are they having surgery for?" he asked with curiosity before blinking slowly, "If you're allowed to talk about that, I mean." He offered a smile, not wanting her to break any rules or laws or anything, but he wanted to show her that he was completely interested in everything she had to say, wanting to hear her talk more, wanting to see her smile more.

Dean grinned. "I'd love to try that. Any recommendations on a burger I should try?" He smiled. "And that's definitely not a flaw, nice try. I didn't even get a degree, learned the tricks of my trade from my Dad and my Uncle Bobby." He explained with a smile. "Don't need a fancy degree to be happy." He smiled, not wanting to mention that he'd fallen through some weird wormhole into her reality, but still, he somehow felt himself feeling uneasy knowing John was alive, wondering if he was different here.

Niamh smiled. "I trust you, I know you're not going to go around telling everyone." She told him gently, placing the paperwork on her knees so she could read the case file. "He's going to get some correction work done on his spine." She explained gently, adding some notes to the paper. "Gonna be down there a while." She explained, offering Sam a gentle smile, loving that he seemed so interested in her.

"Um... Everything's actually pretty amazing, there," Aveline admitted with amusement, "I like the double cheeseburger, though." She shrugged slightly, though she grinned as she watched him. "Yeah, but that means that you didn't waste your time and money with the degree, when you already knew what you wanted."

Sam nodded as he listened to her quietly, taking in the information that she offered to him. "Is it a dangerous surgery?" he asked gently, wondering whether it was or not. "Will you be helping with it?" He mostly wanted to know so that he'd know whether she'd be outside waiting instead and whether she'd need any comfort.

Dean nodded, watching Aveline with a gentle smile. "What did you study?" He asked curiously, wanting to reach out and cup her cheek, comfort her, wanting to let her know that he supported her, but he didn't want to scare her away, not when they'd been doing so good, so far.

Niamh smiled. "I won't be helping." She laughed. "I hate surgery, freaks me out down there." She explained. "But it can go one of two ways, he could be cured, or he could be paralysed for the rest of his life." She explained. "But the surgeon is amazing, really cool guy and an expert at what he does." She smiled, shifting a little closer to Sam.

"Um, art history," Aveline said, making a face, "I hated it, though. I honestly wouldn't be able to tell you anything about it, but my parents thought it was a good idea, so I went for it." She shrugged slightly, not really minding it.

Sam watched her, his expression softening with concern, and he reached for her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I'm sure the kid will be just fine," he told her gently, offering a smile in hopes of easing her worries, "Are you close to the kid?"

Dean nodded, knowing the feeling of going with what your parents wanted you to do, but not wanting to elaborate on that to Aveline. Maybe one day, but now definitely wasn't the time. "What's your dream job?" He asked with curiosity.

Niamh squeezed Sam's hand, feeling the jolt of electricity go through her as their skin touched. "Um, he's regular here, but he's a sweetie." She smiled. "I like to bring him candy apples, he loves them." She laughed. "But yeah, as soon as he's in recovery, I can leave." She pushed Sam's hair from his face gently.

"Honestly?" Aveline asked as she thought about it but shrugged slightly. "I don't know. I'd really just like a job that's not confining and where I'm not stuck behind a desk all day, I guess. I never really thought much into it."

Sam smiled slightly as he watched her, listening to the way she talked about the boy. She seemed so fond of him, of all the kids there, and he gave her hand a gentle squeeze in return. "Okay," he told her, "Do you want to visit him in recovery when he's there?"

Dean nodded, thinking about the freedom that hunting would provide her, but he never wanted to drag her into that lifestyle if he could help it. "I understand." He nodded, watching her carefully. "But for the record, I think you're amazing either way."

Niamh shook her head. "I hate surgery." She explained. "It's scary for the kids, but to me, it's just... not the best place." She frowned. "And that's coming from a nurse." She laughed. "He'll be okay, the lady that's coming in when I leave will take care of him."
