Hannah looked at Mark when he set his hand on her knee. "Yea, I hope so too." She said. When they got to his house she got out of the Jeep with him and helped him unload it before she walked inside with him. His parents were in the kitchen preparing the stuff for the night. She smiled as she walked in with Mark and waved at them. Hannah was not surprised when his mom hugged her because the woman loved her

"How was surfing?" His mom asked them.

Hannah took one of the strawberries from the bowl of fruit they had. "Oh you know. Mark sucked as usual." She teased him. She took a bite of the strawberry and offered the rest to him. "I'm going to get change. You should probably do that too." She said, knowing his board shorts were wet still. She walked away and went up to his room. She kept clothes there because she didn't see the point of packing a pack every time.

Mark helped his parents preparing some of the barbecue food for a couple of minutes before heading upstairs. He popped his head in to his room to let Hannah know he was just going for a shower before heading in to the bathroom locking the door behind him. He spent longer than usual in the shower, enjoying how the water felt running over his stiff muscles from surfing, he had missed that feeling.

After a while he hopped out, getting dressed and heading back downstairs to find Hannah. "Food nearly ready?" He asked as he sniffed the air, wrapping his arms around her from behind. "I told you already, we are not eating until Brina comes home, she'll have a shit fit if she comes home and all of the food is gone again" his dad said with a hearty laugh as they headed out towards the pool. For the fact that they presented themselves as Hippies, Mark had to admit that his parents had bought quite an impressive home.

Hannah got dressed in something simple then walked downstairs She smiled as Mark wrapped his arms around her, smelling his colonge surround her. She placed her hands on his arms. "Well, i hope she gets off early because I'm hungry." She said. She looked at Mark after his dad left. "Did you enjoy your shower? She asked him.

Mark chuckled softly at Hannah's comment, placing a gentle kiss on the back of her head. "Yeah it was nice, I always forget how good a shower feels after being out on the water" he told her with a soft laugh as he glanced at his phone. "It looks like your wish has been granted.. Brina is finishing up at 6:30" he told her with a chuckle, meaning he needed to go get her in 10 minutes "you wanna come get her with me?" He asked

Hannah smiled at him, "Sure, I will go with you." She said as she kissed him and wrapped his arms around him. She kissed him once more then walked with him to his jeep. She got in and laced her fingers with his. "So, do you think she likes Taven?" She asked him.

Mark glanced out the back with Dow as he reversed out of the drievway and sped off down the road back towards the pier. He chuckled softly "I don't think so, not yet. She will though, she just needs to get over this fear of letting people in" mark said rolling his eyes slightly. There had been a time when Sabrina was the outgoing one but as they grew older she slowly drew more and more in to herself. He sighed softly "hey looks, at least if she doesn't like him she at least has someone to hang out with so we can get home alone time" he said with a chuckle, his hand sliding up her leg as he parked outside the gallery.

Hannah looked at him when he stopped the car, "Yea that would be really nice." She said. Usually they only really got to he alone at his house when they went to bed and even then Sabrina would pop into his room whenever she felt like it. She liked his sister but she didn't like that they had no privacy. Hannah smiled as she leaned over and kissed him softly. "It will work out great." She said. She knew Taven would distract Sabrina. She kissed Mark again, feeling his fingers move through her hair. She was surprised as Sabrina yanked the door open and said something to Mark about him being gross. Hannah pulled away and leaned back against her seat.

Brina gagged over dramatically as she satin to the Jeep, watching Hannah and her brother kiss. "Can you guys save the porn for the bedroom please, it's gross" she teased, pulling on her seatbelt as she began to swipe through the photos she had taken today on her camera, pausing slightly to look at a slightly out of focus shirtless taven before moving on. "Please tell me you haven't eaten yet, I'm starving" she asked, leaning forward a little to chat with them.

Mark shook his head softly as his sister hopped in to the car, chuckling slightly at just how apt the moment was given the conversation him and Hannah had just been having. He chatted about work with her for a moment before the three of them began to discuss how the rip was today before he pulled back in to their driveway. By the looks of it people were already beginning to arrive for tonight's party. It was a pretty big thing in the town, so he knew a couple people from ntheir class would be there as well as his parents friends.

Hannah got out of the jeep when they got to his house then walked inside with him. "Can we eat now?" She asked. She was so hungry. Hannah walked outside, seeing his parents were setting the food out. She was so hungry. She got a plate the handed one to Mark. She looked at Sabrina, seeing her staring at her camera, "What are you looking at?" She asked.

Mark didn't even answer Hannah's questions he had already taken off towards the food, grabbing a beer on his way. He began to pole his plate high, looking back up at Hannah as she laughed at him."what I'm a growing boy?" He teased, a large lump of bread ha ging from his mouth.

Sabrina glanced up at Hannah quickly, shaking her head. "Just my photos from today" she answered abruptly, switching off her camera and heading towards the food, piding herself a large glass of white wine.

Hannah looked at Mark, "Yea and you're going to start growing out." She teased him. She got herself some food and grabbed a beer then sat down with Mark at one of the tables. She looked at Sabrina as she sat down in front of them. "So did you get any really good pictures from today?" She asked her.

Sabrina got herslef a small amount of food sitting down with Hannah and mark as she began to eat, smiling as she waved at some people from school. "Yeah, I got some really good ones of you guys in the water, the reflection was really good today colourwise" she told them excitedly even though she knew they didn't understand nlr care what any of the meant. She let herself zone our a little as she ate letting them chat to one another.

Mark watched his sister as her and Hannah chatted. Something seemed a little off about her today, but he would wait til he got her on her own to ask what's wrong. He finished his food quickly, wrapping his arms around Hannah lovingly as he watched his dad head down towards the beach to get the bonfire started.

Hannah smiled, "You'll have to show me later." She said. She finished her food and leaned against Mark as his arms went around her. She kissed his cheek then laced her fingers with his. "What?" she asked as he looked at her. She rested her head against his shoulder and smiled.

Sabrina nodded as she watched everybody bustiling around the party. She didliked this part of the night when everyone tried making small talk. She much preferred when they all got drunk on the beach and everything was just way more chill. She shrugged gently picking up Hannah's and Marks plates as well as her own and bringimng them inside.

Mark chuckled as he kissed her forehead "you smell like the beach" he teased as he rested his head against hers, smelling the salt water in her hair. "It's weird that we're finished high school now, isn't it" he commented softly.

Hannah smiled, "I know, but i am glad we are done." She said. She looked at him then kissed him softly. She couldn't wait to see how their life would be. She didn't want to leave him though. That was the worst part.

Taven pulled up to Mark's house then head to the back where the party was He walked through the people, bumping into Sabrina. "Sorry." He said, smiling at her. "Hey." He said, when he realized who it was.

Mark wrapped his arms around her nodding. "I'm glad it's done with too, we get to be grown ass people" he teased with a soft laugh, looking down at her happily. He hated the thought that they may be separated at the end of the summer but he need her to be happy, and he wasn't going to follow her to university he wanted to make his own decisions too.

Sabrina sighed softly as somebody bumped in to her, causing her to drop the plate on the sink splashing some water on herself. "Be careful.." she sighed softly turning to face whoever bumped in to her. ",Oh hey" she said softly seeing Taven. She turned around finishing washing the plates as she chatted with him.

Hannah hugged him, "I know and to think we use to be just two young idiots." She teased him as she rubbed his side. She looked at him then kissed him softly. She never wanted to leave his side, but she knew that she would probably have to.

Taven looked at her, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause you to drop that. Do you need any help?" He asked. He figured she may need someone to help because nobody else seemed to care that she was alone. "Shouldn't you be out there having fun with your friends?" He asked her.

"Wanna head down to the beach?" Mark asked her, standing up slowly, looking down the walkway towards the sand, it looked like the fire was just beginning to get going. He took her hand, picking up a couple Moore beers from the cooler and the bottle of fireball to bring with them.

Brina shook her head softly "no it's fine, I just wanted to clean up some of the plates, I'm pretty much done now" she told him. She wiped her hands off on a tea towel and headed toward the fridge. She planned on getting absolutely wasted tonight so she didn't want to have to do any chores hungover tomorrow. "you drunk?" She asked, as she began to pour herself a drink that was 90% vodka 10%mixer.

Hannah took his hand, "Sure." She said as she began to walk with him. She looked up at him, "I can carry something if you want me to." She told him. She looked at the fire that was on the beach and smiled. She always loved spending her summer nights on the beach with Mark.

Taven nodded, "Yea I drink." He said. He watched as she poured herself a really strong drink. "I usually stick to beer though." He said. Liquor had always made him mean and he didn't want to be that person.
