Adelina sighed quietly, adjusting her bag over her shoulder before she offered Una a look. “This should be fun,” she muttered dryly, though she was obviously doubtful of that being the case at all. They’d moved around so much already that nothing even felt new anymore and they didn’t even bother to make connections because what was the point? They’d just be leaving again. Rolling her eyes with her thoughts, she made her way into their homeroom, a class the two shared, and it was their first day, but Adelina was at least grateful she had Una there to face the day with her, so she wasn’t completely alone. Weaving through the desks, she found a few seats in the back for herself and Una, though they were two of the first students there anyways, so hopefully there wouldn’t be any problems.
Michael grinned as he threw his arm around Luke’s shoulder at the latter’s locker. “You know what I think?” he mentioned, arching a brow, “I think today’s gonna be a good day.” And he didn’t know why he felt that way, but something just felt right today, he had a good vibe and he planned to go with it, certain that he would refuse to let anything ruin his good mood. Looking around, he saw the hallways emptying and he shifted, pulling back from his friend. “Alright, let’s get to class before things get too crazy.” Grinning jokingly, he shifted, turning to lead the way to homeroom, certain Luke was following, but not all that bothered if he wasn’t. Slipping into the room, he waved to a few of the other people he knew but he paused, blinking when he saw a pair of girls he didn’t recognize, his gaze automatically drifting to one, her eyes capturing his in a way he couldn’t explain. Moving over, he sat in his normal desk, which happened to be situated behind hers, and he grinned. “Hey there,” he greeted, leaning forward a bit, “I'm Michael." His grin broadened. "Are you new?”
