Love Ain’t Simple||

Daniel looked over at Kylie and smiled then looked back to the food “when did you want to break the news to your parents? I mean you can hide that bump forever you know..” he swallowed hard. It was nerve wrecking. He finished making te food and served up Kylie’s favorite dish, “hoe many appointments have you gone to?”

Emily made her way to the Dot and ordered some tea and decided to sit in the back and write some music. Something she did on her spare time she missed singing. Emily took a sip out of her drink. Nice hot tea.

Kylie sighed. "I know." She looked down at her bump, then back up to him. "I think we should break the news soon." She suggested as she took the dish from him, eating the food. "Thanks hun." She said as she took a bite. She looked to him. "I have gone to 2 appointments and coming up on my third appointment the beginning of next week." She then looked to him. "We need to tell my parents tonight." She said.

When the boys got to The Dot, they all sat down at a table, discussing some band nonsense. Craig had just went to get up to use the restroom when he saw Emily sitting by herself. He smiled to himself before making his way over to her. "Hey. Fancy seeing you here." He said with a charming smile. He didn't ask her what she was doing, but he figured he'd be friends and say hello.

Daniel grew pale he wasn’t exactly ready, she was a teenager and he was a middle age man. “You want to break the news tonight? “ he shook his head trying to think. “I suppose we should... I just .. now?” He was nervous. Daniel has been friends with Kylie’s father for years this would complicate things burn he had no Choice.

Emily was humming to her iPod when she noticed Craig she smiled, “no.. not the place where you always hang out?” She gasped sarcastically. “I needed to clear my head, what are you doing here? Feeding the misfits over there?” She’s laugehd.

"Dan I have to tell my parents sooner than later." She said as she looked to him. "Listen, if you don't want to tell them or go with me, that's fine...I just..." The waterworks started again. Kylie wasn't one for tears and emotions, however, lately since being pregnant she would cry over anything.

Craig laughed lightly at her sarcasm. He pulled up a chair at the table she was sitting and smiled. "Yeah, the band and I got a little hungry so we decided to come get some food." He laughed, looking over at his friends who were goofing off.

Daniel sighed, “please don’t cry, I’ll come wth you and we will do this together, just know that you’ll have my support.” He rubbed Er back pulling her close and kissing the side of her face.

Emily smirked, “maybe I can chill with you after you drop your friends off? I need someone one on one with a huge dork” she chuckled.

LATER THAT NIGHT...

The conversation with Kylie's parents and Dan's friends, Keith and Lauren, went really well. She knew her parents were shocked about everything, especially the idea that their perfect daughter was pregnant and dating the school's principal. However, they knew that she was in good hands. Keith even gave Dan permission, if he wanted to, to marry his daughter, and told them not to be a stranger. After the conversation all happened, it was settled that Kylie could move in with Dan and live that happy life that they saw was already forming between the two of them.

After Kylie and Lauren had everything packed, Keith helped move things over to Dan's place and then they left, letting the two parents-to-be to enjoy time together.

Looking at Dan, Kylie just giggled. "I can't believe the last couple of hours went perfect." She said as she sat on his bed, well their bed now. She didn't know anything about the conversation Dan and her dad had though in regards to her dad giving dad permission to marry her. She laid back on the bed, thinking about how was she going to tell her friends.

After a couple of hours of hanging out with his friends and dropping them off at their houses, Craig drove back to The Dot, knowing that Emily would still be there. When he walked in, a small smirk danced on his face, seeing her still sitting in the same place, lost in her own little world.

Quickly and quietly walking over to her, Craig gently tapped her on the shoulder. "Hey." He breathed with a bright smile. "How are you? I told you that I would be back." He winked as he sat down.

Daniel let out of a sigh of relief, he couldn’t believe what just happened. How his friend just let it slide that he got his daughter pregnant and they suggested they moved in together. He looked at Kylie and nodded “I can’t believe how unbelievably fine they are with all of this.

Dan took a seat next to Kylie “I take it you’re going to tell your friends?” Daniel was curious to know what they were going to do about everything. He had plenty of room for the baby.

Emily rolled her eyes, “oh goodie” she said sarcastically the laughed, “so this place is closing soon so where Are we going to hang out?”

Kylie looked up to Dan, nodding to comment. "I was a little surprised too. But like dad said, you two have feen friends for a long time, and if there is anyone he knows that will take care of me, his little girl, it would be you...for some odd reason." She laughed as she quoted her father's words from their previous conversation.

When he asked if she was going to tell her friends, she shrugged. "I mean I probably should since I'm starting to show. However, I don't think they need to know who the Baby Daddy is." She explained as she got off the bed to grab her phone. Walking back over to him, Kylie stood in front of him this time. "Dan. I know this was slight challenge that we were not expecting, but please try to relax. Everything will work out one way or another."

Craig laughed lightly at Emily's sarcasm. He would never say this aloud, but he thought it was cute. When she asked if they were going to hang out, he just nodded, a goofy grin appearing on his face this time around. "Of course we are."

Thinking for a quick moment, he then looked to her. "Well the mall doesn't close for a couple of more hours, so if you want, we could go there. Maybe watch a movie, walk around." He suggested. "One reason I'm wanting to go there is because I wanted to get some new equipment for my camera.We don't have to go to the mall, I was just only suggesting though."

Daniel sat on the bed watching Kylie as she changed her clothes. “I was expecting w punch to the face I’m not going to lie.” He chuckled. He shook his head, “I don’t think they should know either I don’t want them blabbing and I know how some of those girls are.”

Daniel walked over to her and placed his hands on her swollen belly. He smiled softly couldn’t believe he was going to be a father. Daniel kissed the top of her belly.

Emily smiled nodding “awesome let’s go do whatever I have no plans.” SHe laughed getting to her feet Emily walked out of the Dot with Craig, she didn’t ever think she’d Be our wirh him, especially with Manny always glaring at her.

Emily didn’t care she knew she didn’t do anything wrong. Emily looked at Craig “let’s go fo that, maybe get some ice cream..”

Kylie stayed quiet as she ran her hands through his hair. She couldn't believe this was happening. She was a Senior in High School, Dating the School's Principal, and now 3 months pregnant with his baby.

As the young blonde got lost in her own world, her eyes widened a little. She just realized one thing. Quickly reaching over to grab her phone, Kylie scrolled through her calendar. "Shit." she breathed as she looked down to Dan. She had just realized that the week that they graduate is the same week she would be due to have the baby.

Craig watched her, following after her out of The Dot. "We can take my car." He said as he lead the way. Unlocking the doors, he opened the passenger's door for her.

"Your Chariot, Madame." He said with a goofy grin. He helped her into the car before carefully closing the door. Making his way over to the driver's side, Craig slid in, stuck the key in the ignition turning it on.

Looking to her, he smiled once again. "Now, to the mall." He said cheerfully before driving to their destination.

Daniel was ln bed relaxing and closing his eyes when he heard Kylie squeak “what’s wrong baby?” He sat up and looked at her. “You want to try to graduate early!” He got up and walked over to Kylie rubbing her shoulders, “relax we will figure something out.”

Emily rolled her eyes and got into the car, she smiled and put her seatbelt humming softly. “Where we going?”

Kylie shook her head. "No, I really don't want to graduate early. I would like to be there at graduation like everyone else." She said, sighing softly. Looking to him, she sighed softly. She knew that he was right, that would figure something out. "I'm going to walk that stage and get my diploma from your hands, Mr. Raditch -- and nothing will stop that." She looked to him kissing him softly on the lips.

Craig looked to her and smiled. "To the mall." He said as he drove. "We can get ice cream. Do some window shopping. Maybe even catch a movie if you want." He suggested as he looked to the road. "What do you want to do?" He asked softly. "Because this isn' just my hangout. So I don't call the shots on everything. I got your want for ice cream down, but I feel like there is something more you would like to do."

Daniel nodded. “Well, how is that happening when your due date isn’t around that time.” He pokes her nose, “anyway, we should talk about these appointments and when we’re going to go to one.. I’d like being see some ultra sounds.”

Emily nodded, “let’s go see a movie,” she looked st the time and sighed softly “so there’s not a lot playing except romcoms” she laughed. Emily wasn’t sure what this thing she’s was feeling for him, where and how .. did she have a crush on him?

“Well you happen to be in luck because I have an appointment at the start of next week.” She smiled and kissed him softly. She then looked at the time, then looked to Dan once more. “I’ll ask the doctor about a graduation walk when we get closer to my due date.” She said as she laid down on the bed.

Craig nodded as they drove. When they got to the mall, Craig parked the car before getting it. Opening her door, He started walking inside the mall with Emily. He couldn’t figure out if he was possibly crushing on Emily. And if he was, he knew that wasn’t a good thing, but at the same time he didn’t think too much about it. “So, do you still want to watch a movie or do something else?”

Daniel kissed Kylie back touching her face gently, he hoped everything would be okay with the baby. He was going to buy all kinds of parenting books for the both of them. “Good, I want to be there for every step” though the doctors will probably think he was a parent which would r good. He didn’t need to be judged harshly by society.

Emily walked around with Craig wondering why the hell she was developing s crush? She knows what he did, he’s heard it from everyone, he cheated on Ashley with Manny. And now those two were together and Ashley left which Emily couldn’t possibly blame her. He was a horrible boyfriend but why was she feeling like this?

Kylie looked at him and sighed. She wasn't going to argue with him, but she wasn't going to stop being hopeful with the idea of walking across that graduation stage either. When he asked her about coming to the appointments, she put a smile on her face. "Well you happen to in luck because I have an appointment next Monday." She said with a sweet smile. Looking at him, she smiled and kissed him. "And I will drop the conversation about walking at graduation when I get closer to my due date...we can even ask the Doctor about it."

Craig smiled at her suggestion of going to catch a movie. "Well I'm sure there are other movies we could watch than romcoms." He laughed lightly as they made their way towards the movie theater. He watched her as they walked, smiling as he noticed cute little things about him. As he looked over at her, Craig stopped himself for a moment. Was he developing feelings for Emily? Where was this coming from? These questions ran through his mind as he looked over into the distance, trying to distract himself a little. When they got to the movie theater, Craig looked over the movies wither. "Well?" He asked. "What shall it be?"

Daniel looked at Kylie and sighed softly nodding, “all right, when did you want to take maternity leave?” Daniel kissed the side of Kylie’s head and rubbed her hand gently. Daniel just wanted her to be comfortable and safe, “all right are you tired?”

Emily looked at the options “hmm everything sounds kinda cheesy, but ooh hey! That horror movie looks interesting how about we see that” she nodded getting some cash out.

Kylie sighed softly as she laid her back against the mattress. “Well Dan, the seniors get that week off before they graduate so I was thinking that I would be good to go on maternity leave then. Unless there are complications prior to the week, which I’m hoping there won’t be.” She quickly wanted to change the topic and not get into an argument over this. Looking to the older man laying next to her and smiled, sitting up a little as she put a hand on his bearded cheek. “Dan, while I’m pregnant, I need you to do me one favor.” She batted her eyelashes to him, pulling herself up onto him. “Please don’t get rid of this beard.” She giggled.

Craig smiles as he listened to Emily go back and forth, trying to decide what kind of movie to watch. “Well I am a cheesy guy so I am always good with cheesy. Then with horror films I am a mastermind at that, so I’m good there as well.” He said with a cheeky grin. When he saw her reach and pull out her cash, he quickly shook his head. “No, no, this is on me.” He winked as they walked up to the counter to get their tickets.

Daniel was thinking about all of this, being a parent, his girlfriend being so young. They could never really do the ounce date thing and certainly not go out as much because of the difference in age. Though that would change now since her parents were okay with this relationship. He turn his attention to the young blonde and smiled, “darn and I was going to shave tonight” he laughed. “Why do you like it so much?” Daniel started kissing her neck, “does this tickle is that’s why you like it?”

Emily laughed and looked at the choices, “sounds good, I’m how about that comedy.” Emily stared at Craig as he pulled out his wallet. She protested but he wouldn’t have it. “Okay fine, but let me buy the popcorn?” She shook her head. Was this a date? Nah. Couldn’t be.

Kylie giggled as he kissed her neck, his beard tickled against her skin. “Dan!” She cried out in giggles. She pulled him away from her neck and kissed him deeply on the lips. She then looked to him. “Well you could shave if you really want to.” She said. “I just like this facial hair on you.” She then laid her head on his chest. “Dan I know there’s such a age difference along with other things like you being the principal and I’m a student, but we are going to be okay.”

Laying on his chest, tears flowed down her cheeks. She was really such a ball of emotions tonight, but she didn’t know why.

Craig sighed softly. “Alright alright.” He laughed and smiled as he laid for the movie tickets. Walking into the building, he walked up to the concession stands for them. He watches her as she stands in line, grabbing some candy and ordered drinks. “You said you got the popcorn, I got everything else.” He laughed lightly as he stood beside her at the next counter.
