@ A Drop On the Window
By the time students had started to arrive in her classroom, her eyes were still skimming over the day's crossword, hoping to get at least a few more answers solved before she turned her attention to her students. She half-listened to the students chatting, occasionally sipping from her tea or glancing around the room to see who had arrived for the day.
Francis ran by Mr Kilburn's house and to the end of the street, pausing under a large oak tree to catch her breath and try to stay out of the rain. She was grateful for the weather, though, it was keeping her cool on her run, and she was grateful for it, as normally by now she'd feel awful sweaty and hot, which was the only part of running that she hated. She decided to walk back down his street to give herself a bit of a rest before running the rest of the way home, admiring the houses as she walked past. They were all so nice in this part of town, not that her home wasn't nice, but she preferred the ones around here.
