River watched Luke intently, carefully, taking in every expression he made, every move he made, swearing she wanted to commit every single detail of this encounter to her memory, because something about Luke had her mind whirring in a way that she wasn’t used to. She’d never held such a high interest in somebody before, but Luke definitely had her on a hook and she didn’t want to break free. When she felt his hands pressing to the side of her thighs, she smirked as she watched Luke, her gaze locking on his as she examined him, listening to his words. “I couldn’t think of anything I’d want more than playing this game, sir,” she told him quietly in response, leaning forward just a bit, her face just a breath away from Luke’s, and she tilted her head slightly in response. “If you’re joining in on the show, I’m definitely looking forward to putting it on.” Her smirk broadened as she took him in, though she pouted slightly when the bell rang, sighing out in disappointment. “Well, that sucks,” she complained quietly, but she soon smirked teasingly. “Another time, maybe. Looks like you have a class to teach, teach.”
Calum grinned with her words, unable to help it, his head ducking a bit when she called him babe, and a part of him wanted to really own the title; he wanted her to be his and he wanted to be hers. “That so? Hopefully I won’t have to guess too much with you, babe,” he shot back in return, lifting his gaze back to hers, his grin falling to a smirk when he noticed the way her eyes drifted to his lips, and he hoped that every sign he was reading meant exactly what he wanted, even if he knew it was wrong. The fact that she was on the edge of the counter, within reach, only drove him further and, shifting, he moved closer, to the point that her knees were touching him, and he grinned with the contact, examining her. “And you definitely seem to know what you’re doing, little miss grown woman.” And, with the fact that the other teachers weren’t really bothering to interrupt in any way, he couldn’t help but to push his limits a bit more, winking at her in a way that was definitely more flirting than teasing, and he wasn’t even really ashamed at this point, just completely addicted to the feeling Ruby was giving him, wanting to experience more of it, never wanting to let the feeling go. “Right. What are the chances that you’re gonna drive me as crazy in Gym as you are in here?” He arched a brow, having picked his words purposefully, and he grinned, hoping that she wasn’t thrown off by what he was saying - or by what he was insinuating. And, when she closed the space between them a bit more, he couldn’t help the way his eyes trailed down to her lips in return, swearing that, if he leaned in just an inch or two, their lips could connect and everything would be right, but he groaned instead when the bell rang. “Dammit,” he complained with a slight pout.
Michael’s grin broadened as he watched Sasha, loving the curiosity in her actions and her expression, wanting nothing more than to continue being in her presence, wanting to experience more of her expressions and tones, wanting to hear more of her voice and laughter, wanting to just learn more about her in general. “I don’t blame him, in that case,” he said eventually, nodding, “Finding somebody he loves and wanting to spend the rest of his life with them - I think it’d be worth leaving a job, too.” And, while he spoke, his gaze went to her, watching her, hopeful that even just a small part of her understood that, if he was in the same situation, if he was granted the same opportunity with her, he’d definitely choose her, too, like the previous teacher had chosen the person he loved. “You think so?” His grin broadened still, and he nudged her in return, unable to help it and, shifting, he tried to be casual and gentle, lifting his hand to rest it on her knee, just long enough to give it a squeeze - wanting the contact, but also wanting to assure her, but not wanting to come off too strong if she wasn’t interested, - before he retracted his hand. “I’m really glad to know that. And, if you need anything, ever, at all, don’t hesitate to bring it up.” But, hearing the bell ring, he blinked, lifting his gaze with mild surprise, having forgotten, just for a moment, that classes would be starting soon. Looking back to her, his heart ached with the thought of parting from her. “Do you happen to have my class first?” he asked, hopeful, chewing on his lip.
Amara grinned with the mention of it, watching him for a moment. “And we certainly wouldn’t want me bored, would we?” she asked jokingly, grinning still, though she found herself wondering if she could ever be bored around this man in the first place. Hearing his offer, though, she blinked with surprise and perked up slightly. “Really? You promise?” Chewing on her lip, she tilted her head, though she grinned slightly as she sipped at her own coffee, listening to his request and watching as he stepped closer, loving hearing the way he groaned his words, not wanting to admit to how much it affected her. “Fine, fine, I’ll make you a coffee, but only because of that groan,” she hummed out, shifting a bit to hop down from the counter, mostly so that she could be closer to him, and she grinned up at him. “As for that first impression? I think you aced it.” Humming, she brushed past him easily, lifting her gaze when she heard the bell ring, but she didn’t care much, instead moving to get the coffee started, since there was still a bit of time until the final bell. “What kind of coffee do you want?”
