Luke couldn't help but grin with River's words, examining her carefully and feeling his heart swell in his chest with how damn incredible she was. Hearing River's laugh though, that, to Luke, was the best thing ever. The most melodic sound. With her accompanied words though, Luke's own laugh came forth, and he shook his head. "Okay, okay, she's perfect." Luke teased back, gripping to her thighs as River toyed with his hair, the whole gesture bringing him a sense of safety, one that Luke adored. When she leaned into him though, Luke couldn't help but to press another kiss to River's lips, deepening it a little, his forehead falling against hers when she spoke. "Yeah?" Luke murmured with a smile. "Because you're already the most incredible thing to me." Luke admitted, biting his lip gently - but when River told him she was sure he was the one, Luke's heart pounded in his chest in the best way, and Luke grinned. "Then be my one." Luke told her. "Be mine."

Sasha smiled softly as Michael grinned at her, the amusement in his voice prompting her to speak a little louder. "You. You're the cutest thing ever, you dork." Sasha laughed fondly, watching as he shifted closer, Sasha continued to run her fingers through Michael's hair, knowing that Michael's arms was the safest place she could ever be, but hearing his words, Sasha grinned. "Oh?" She teased. "I can't, because I'm not two feet tall, so I guess you just got lucky." Sasha teased, but her grin softened as she saw Michael relax, and she bit her lip, pressing a kiss to Michael's forehead, her hands resting softly at the back of his neck, her legs still draped lazily around him, surprised at how incredibly calm the moment was between them - Sasha swore she'd never felt happier. "We better get back." She murmured after another moment.

River grinned slightly as she relaxed under Luke’s touch, swearing that nothing in the world felt as natural as being this close to him. Something about Luke had her craving his attention more and more the longer she spent time in his presence. “Yeah? I can’t wait to meet her, then,” she murmured quietly, honestly, her fingers running gently through his hair still, though, when she felt Luke’s lips against hers, she grinned broadly against his lips, enjoying the way it felt to have this kind of intimacy with him. But, oddly, the intimacy felt so much more real and intense when Luke’s forehead was against hers and she knew that she never wanted to part from him, that she never wanted to lose the feeling Luke gave her. “Oi, you’re gonna make me blush,” she said with a quiet laugh, though she paused, blinking when she heard Luke’s words and, watching him, she could feel her grin spreading across her features, almost matching his. “Only so long as you’ll be mine.” She chewed on her lip, though, watching him for a moment. “But I think we should get those papers photocopied and head back to class soon.”

Michael blinked as he processed Sasha’s words, though he couldn’t help but to chuckle. “Me? No, sweetheart, I think you outshine me in cuteness by an incredible amount,” he told her quietly, relaxing with the feeling of Sasha’s fingers running through his hair, swearing he’d never been more content, that he’d never felt more at peace, than he did when he was in Sasha’s presence. “Yeah? Am I lucky enough for you to agree to be mine?” Arching a brow, he examined her for a few moments, feeling a slight anxiety build up in him with the possibility that she might not want him the way he wanted her, that she may not want him in the life in the way he wanted her in his. Still, when she mentioned going back, he made a slight face. “Ah, you probably have a point there.” It would only be a matter of time before the class got suspicious, he was sure, and he chewed on his lip with the thought before he shifted, lifting his hands to cup her face gently, his thumbs running over her cheeks before he leaned forward to press a kiss to her lips for a few long moments, just wanting the moment to last for as long as it possibly could before they’d have to go back to class and pretend that there was nothing at all between them.

Luke smiled with River's words about meeting Petunia. "It won't be long until you do. She'll love you so much." Luke loved the idea, his two favourite girls together. Grinning with the thought, Luke sighed happily, his head falling back to follow River's fingers as they ran through his hair. When Luke felt River smile into his lips, he grinned in return, absolutely loving the affect she had on him and he seemed to have on her. "You're so beautiful." Luke murmured as his forehead met hers. "How did I get so lucky?" And as Luke listened to River speak, he laughed, burying his face into her neck. "You're gorgeous when you blush!" Luke teased, but still meaning every word - she was the most gorgeous thing he'd ever laid eyes on, but damn it, when she blushed, Luke couldn't stop himself from admiring her. "Of course I'll be yours. I'll be yours until the sun burns out, River, I'd spend my whole life with you." But when River suggested getting back to class, Luke groaned, but nodded. "I guess." He sighed, moving away and helping her from the photocopier, quickly copying the papers. "Hold these, so no one gets suspicious." He winked, handing River a light load of papers, holding the rest to himself. "Ready?"

Sasha smiled when Michael chuckled, enjoying the sound, because she enjoyed making him happy. "God, I could listen to you laugh all day." Sasha admitted shyly, but when Michael spoke, Sasha felt her cheeks begin to warm, and she laughed it off, trying her hardest not to let his words force her back into her shell. "Just trust me when I say that you are perfection, personified." Sasha murmured, rubbing her nose against Michael's in an eskimo kiss, smiling as her forehead met his. "I would love nothing more than to be yours, Michael." Sasha smiled, her eyes meeting Michael's as she wrapped her arms around his neck completely, wanting to be close to him, wanting to hold him, because she felt so comforted when she was this close to him. "I love you, so of course I'm going to say yes." Sasha smiled, tucking a strand of Michael's hair behind his ear gently. When Michael cupped her face, Sasha allowed herself to relax into his touch, and pulling him closer by her legs, Sasha returned Michael's kiss, smiling. "You're so incredible."

River chewed on her lip happily as she listened to Luke, just loving listening to him talk, loving taking in the tones of his voice, the expressions on his features, and her fingers trailed through his hair gently, memorizing the way his hair felt in the spaces between her fingers, finding that the action, the feeling, soothed her in a way she hadn’t known was possible. “You happened to be in the teacher’s lounge when my friends and I wanted coffee,” she teased lightly, though she laughed. “No, I’m not! I look like a tomato when I blush, trust me!” But, still, hearing what Luke thought of her, how he felt for her, made her heart constrict in a way she wasn’t used to - she was used to pain, abandonment, loneliness, but knowing that Luke cared that deeply about her made all those negative feelings fade away, and she almost couldn’t believe the effect he had on her. “Good. Then, it looks like we’re in this together,” she murmured, brushing her lips against his before hopping down from the copier with his help, taking the papers with a hum. “Ready.” Smiling, she nodded.

Michael couldn’t keep the grin from his face as he examined Sasha for a few moments, admiring her, his heart swelling with the smile on her features and the way her blush spread across her cheeks so fast. It amazed him, truly, how absolutely perfect she was - that perfection could even exist at all, but that it existed within the young woman he’d given his heart to. “No, love, I have to disagree with you there - the perfect one between us is certainly you,” he told her gently, his hand reaching to cup her cheek gently, his thumb running over the skin there, just relishing in the way her skin felt under his touch, swearing he’d never known anything better, because it meant that she was real. Hearing her agree to be his, though, he grinned broadly, easing into the kiss when Sasha pulled him in closer, enjoying the way it felt to have her legs around him, though he tried his hardest to keep his thoughts from straying. His hands shifted, lowering to rest on her hips, and he nipped at her lips gently. “I love you, too,” he told her quietly, honestly, because he wanted, needed, her to know. “I can’t imagine anything better than having this with you, always.”

Luke watched as River chewed on her lip, a familiar sensation of need bubbling in the pit of his stomach, and to satisfy his craving, he leaned forward to press a kiss to River's lips. Luke could of sworn his heart had began beating a lot faster, and he loved the feeling that River gave him, the feeling of being love drunk - he just loved her in general. "Thank God that you and your friends are caffeine addicts," Luke teased. "I already can't imagine my life without you, River." And hearing her laugh, Luke couldn't help but grin, the sound of her laugh making Luke the happiest he'd felt in so long, pressing a kiss to the side of her neck, grinning when she debated against him. "You're adorable, baby, you can't argue with me." Luke winked, straightening out the papers he held to ensure that not a single thing was out of place, not wanting anyone to grow suspicious and get River into trouble. "We're in this together." Luke promised with an exhale of happiness, leaning to press a kiss to the top of River's head. "I wish we didn't have to go back," Luke groaned, but opened the door to the staff room, hoping everyone would still be distracted with the documentary he had put on.

Sasha's blush only seemed to grow when she felt Michael's gaze on her, and she let out a laugh, ducking her head shyly to avoid her own bashful nature. Still, Sasha listened to Michael's words, and she lifted her gaze to him once more. "I suppose we just have to agree to disagree." Sasha murmured, leaning into Michael's touch as his hand cupped her cheek, and when she could feel his thumb running across her skin, Sasha closed her eyes, amazed at how much comfort Michael's touch brought her. Breathing out with a sigh of happiness, Sasha bit her lip, opening her eyes once more, pressing another kiss to Michael's lips; feeling him nip at her lip though, Sasha laughed, gently tugging his plump lower lip, being playful. "We really gotta go back, Michael." Sasha warned into his lips, although she didn't want this moment to end, because she was certain that she belonged with Michael, and wherever he was, she could call home.

River laughed quietly to herself when she felt Luke’s lips meet hers and she watched him, listening to him quietly. “Good thing you don’t have to,” she said quietly, smiling to herself, though she shuddered, chewing on her lip when he kissed the side of her neck and, watching him, she held the papers close to herself, arching an amused brow. “I’m glad you think so, at least.” And, she was, really - the fact that somebody like Luke looked at her the way he did made her feel like the luckiest person to exist. Still, she grinned and nodded. “Of course we are.” And, she believed it, she believed him. Shifting, she led the way out of the room, peering back at him. “We’ll be okay.” Offering a smile, she led the way to class, making sure to be the first one to walk back inside.

Michael couldn't help the amused grin that etched its way onto his features. "I suppose so," he agreed quietly as he took her in, loving the way she leaned into his touch, the way she seemed so at ease and comfortable. The fact that he was causing such a reaction eased his heart, he loved seeing her so relaxed, and he loved being with her like this - he loved her, he truly, genuinely did, and the thought made his grin broaden, even more so when he felt her kiss him again. Enjoying the feeling, the playfulness between them, he couldn't help but chuckle quietly, though he chewed on his lip. "Might be best," he admitted quietly, giving her hips a gentle squeeze as he examined her for a moment, taking her in. "Though, how about we do something after school? Meet somewhere?" He knew not many options were open to them, with the risk of being caught together, but he wanted to spend more time with her.

Luke watched River, finding that he was completely unable to take his eyes from the beauty that he had claimed as his own - he certainly wasn't expecting his first day of teaching to go so well, and yet, he was certain he'd found the love of his life in a few short hours, and Luke was amazed with how life worked out sometimes. Chewing on his lip with the thought, Luke hung back as River was first to enter the classroom with confidence, something Luke so easily admired. Ensuring his own appearance was acceptable, Luke followed River into the classroom, seeing that most of the students were on their phones or speaking amongst themselves, grateful for the distraction. Sitting back at his desk, Luke leaned back into the chair as he watched River take her place among her peers, proud that she seemed to so easily fit within the student body. "You guys look like you're being tortured," Luke teased his students, eager to make a lasting impression that he was fun and someone that they could confide in. "River - as my new teaching assistant, can you hand out these, please?" Luke lifted the pile of papers he'd had River photocopy. "For those of you that weren't paying attention to the documentary, I wish you the best of luck in filling these in." Luke smirked, flipping the lights back on. "You won't be graded on these, this is just for me to get an idea on your basic knowledge of history." Luke shrugged. Grabbing a post-it note, Luke scribbled his number onto it, subtly placing it on top of the pile of papers for River to see.

Sasha watched Michael with a soft, fond smile as he grinned in amusement, his touch so comforting to her that Sasha found the sensation almost foreign - she'd never had anyone bring her this much peace, and yet, Michael could. At the sound of Michael's chuckle, Sasha looked to him with adoration, finally pulling away from the kiss. The man was addictive, she could admit that much. "Mhm," Sasha pressed a kiss to his right cheek, and then his left cheek, before leaving a gentle peck against his lips, unable to stop herself. Sliding off the counter, Sasha neatened herself out and opened the door to the staff room, looking to Michael with his offer. "Sounds good to me." Sasha confirmed, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "I'll leave my number on your desk after class, we can arrange something?" She offered, sliding out of the staff room with a playful wink, smiling to herself as she led the way back to the classroom, walking back inside first so no one suspected anything, returning to her seat.

River offered an amused look when she heard Luke teasing the other students, and she watched him from where she was, silently admiring him, glad to just know that he was hers, because he was all she wanted, she knew it. When she heard his request, she grinned and stood up. “Of course, Mr. Hemmings,” she told him in response, almost in a hum, and she approached him to take the stack, slipping the note off the stack the moment she noticed it and discreetly placed it in her pocket. “Good thing I asked for that pen earlier, hm?” Offering a grin up at him, she moved away and went to pass out the worksheets to each of the other students. Once they were all handed out, she sat down and pulled out the note, pulling out her phone to input the number, saving Luke’s contact before she texted him. “Sneaky, teach, I like it.” After she sent the text, she dropped her gaze to her worksheet with a smirk and worked on it, because she wanted Luke to know that she wasn’t going to shirk her lessons, a part of her wanting to impress him.

Michael watched Sasha with a grin, enjoying every moment of affection he could receive from her, wanting to show her that he deserved it - and that she deserved everything he could give her and more. All he wanted was to make her happy, to make sure she knew that he would be there for her, no matter what. “You’re a wonder,” he murmured in admiration as he watched her, but he smiled with her suggestion and nodded. “Alright, that sounds like a plan.” And, it meant he’d get to have her number, that he’d get to keep in contact with her outside of school, and he found himself looking forward to seeing her outside of school, too, because no amount of time felt like it was enough, and all he wanted was to spend as much time with her as he possibly could, because she was everything to him and he wanted her to know that. Smiling as he watched her leave the room, he followed her easily, keeping near her, never wanting to part, but he straightened up when they got to the classroom and he followed her inside. “Alright, guys, looks like the class is coming to an end,” he told the class with a grin, “So finish up your assignment and you can leave when you turn it in.”

Luke grinned as River spoke to him, the sound of her voice so addictive. "Good thing indeed." He grinning, relaxing back into his chair as his eyes followed River around the classroom. He couldn't stop himself; she was a beauty of the highest standard and within one morning, she'd stolen his heart in the most wonderful way. "Remember guys, there's no pressure." Luke smiled, his dimples etched into his cheeks, blonde curls still tied up. "For this particular quiz, there's no right or wrong answer, so don't stress out over it." He smiled. "You'll be pros by the time exams come around." Luke promised, voice gentle. When River sat down, Luke felt his shoulders untense, as if he reacted to her without realising, always wanting to make sure she was comfortable and safe and loved - because he already loved her so; who couldn't? Feeling his phone vibrate in his pocket, Luke bit his lip to stop the smile from coming through, and seeing his students were all focused, Luke subtly slipped the phone from his pocket, reading River's text and grinning, quickly typing out a reply. I'll show you what sneaky really means one day. And to stop his thoughts from straying, Luke slipped his phone back into his pocket and filled out his own work sheet, wondering how well River's knowledge on the subject of History was.

Sasha couldn't help the way her body responded to Michael's words, even when she had put some distance between herself and the handsome man that was now her English teacher - her cheeks heating up, causing her skin to turn a shade of red that Sasha just wasn't accustomed to. A wonder. Sasha couldn't help but think that Michael himself was the wonder, he was something so pure that Sasha was grateful to the universe for his existence. Smiling to herself, Sasha tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, slipping into the seat at her desk. Clicking her pen on, Sasha wrote her number down on a piece of paper, folding it neatly as she packed away her things, watching as members of her class began to leave the classroom. Hauling her bag onto her shoulder, Sasha ran her fingers through her hair and went to leave the classroom, subtly placing the paper on Michael's desk with a smile. "Bye, Mr Clifford!" She called, offering a wave before disappearing to meet with her friends once more.

River couldn’t help the grin that formed on her lips as she started to work on the quiz. History had never been a favorite subject of hers - a fact she was sure would change now that she had Luke as a teacher - but she paid attention well enough to know the answers to many of the questions, and to have a pretty good idea for the rest. Feeling her phone vibrate in her pocket, she pulled it out to check, but a small smirk formed on her features when she read the text, amusement filling her as she absorbed the words. You sure it won’t be me showing you, teach? She sent the text before finishing the quiz, and she put her phone in her pocket before she stood up and moved to turn the quiz in, looking to the clock when the bell rang. “Looks like that’s the end of your class, teach,” she told Luke, offering an amused look as she watched him, committing the sight to memory, because she wasn’t ready to part from him, but she knew she had to. “Later, teach.” Winking playfully after she made sure nobody was paying attention, she went to grab her things before heading out of the classroom to meet up with her friends.

Michael settled into his desk, his gaze going over the members of the classroom, but never steering away from Sasha for too long, always wanting to make sure that she was okay, and a part of him found himself worrying that, if his gaze strayed too far away from her for too long, something would happen to her, and it could have been prevented. Seeing Sasha stand, though, he smiled, leaning forward in a way to be closer to her, because he couldn’t be close to her in the way he wanted to be right now, not when they were in the presence of a whole classroom of students. “Have a nice day, Miss Black, don’t get into any trouble,” he teased lightly, making sure to seem as natural as possible to avoid raising suspicion from the other students in the classroom. He watched her leave, his heart swelling a bit, but he hoped that she would enjoy the rest of her day, truly, because she genuinely deserved to have a good day, especially when dealing with school. Spotting the slip of paper, he reached out, pulling it to himself and unfolding it, but he grinned with the sight of the number and input the number into his phone, waiting for the rest of the class to leave before he texted her. Miss you already, love.

Luke exhaled as River left the classroom, shaking his head in amusement and adoration as he watched her go, the faint scent of her perfume lingering around the classroom. Closing his eyes for a brief moment, Luke felt the corners of his lips twitch upwards to a fond smile, and as he heard the lunch bell ring, he stood to his feet, wondering how his friends, and now fellow colleagues, had gotten on. Standing to his feet and sorting his briefcase, Luke replayed the events with River in his head, almost in shock with how quickly things between them had blossomed, as though he was meant to meet her, meant to kiss her. Leaving the classroom, Luke locked the door, going to meet his friends in the cafeteria, wondering if he'd see River there.

Ruby stood with her back against the wall, outside the entrance of the cafeteria, scrolling on her phone mindlessly as she waited for her friends, and she debated, for a moment, if whether or not she should text Calum. The antics of that morning had repeated in her mind during her music class, and she couldn't help but want - crave - more of the golden skinned man, because the more thinking she did, she came to the frightening realisation that she was falling hard and fast for him, something she wasn't used to. Running a hand through her now dry hair, Ruby bit her lip as she lifted her gaze to search for her friends, grinning as she saw River, wolf whistling.

Ashton's thoughts, throughout the morning, had drifted quite easily back to Amara. Ashton hd come into work, expecting it to be any other normal day, and yet Amara had made a lasting impression on him, and he loved her for it. He was afraid of falling, but damn it, Amara made it seem so easy, and he was willing to continue falling if he could just find out if she felt the same. Ashton had had his heart broken, had been battered and bruised, and yet he knew, deep within him, that Amara was one he could trust with his love, and he was more than willing to place his heart in her skilled hands. Grabbing a table in the cafeteria, Ashton laughed to himself as he saw doughnuts with the rest of the dessert, and he wondered if Amara would grab one while she got her food.

Sasha tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear as she walked to the cafeteria, hitching her bag further up her shoulder, thinking of Michael's words to her - don't get into any trouble. She'd already put herself into trouble by falling in love with a damn teacher, and she'd willingly go further with him, too. Biting her lip with the thought, Sasha checked her phone, smiling softly as she saw Michael had text her, and she quickly text him back: I miss you too <3 What're you having for lunch? And as she walked to the entrance of the cafeteria, Sasha's face lit up as she saw Ruby. "Roo!" She called happily, approaching her friend, feeling her heart life when she saw River and Amara, too. "Hi ladies, interesting morning?"

River looked over when she heard Ruby whistling, and she grinned. “Babes!” she called out to the girls, quickly moving over to them, humming when she heard Sasha’s question, her thoughts immediately going to Luke, and she chewed on her lip as she thought about kissing him again. “I’d say so, yeah,” she hummed out easily, grinning slightly to herself, her eyes wandering the cafeteria as they walked in, searching for Luke as she led the way to the lunch line. “What about you girls?”

Calum stuffed his hands into his pockets as he walked through the hallways towards the cafeteria, thoughts of Ruby running through his mind, and he found himself smiling with the thought of her, with the thought of her smile, of her so close to him, of her presence in general. When he arrived in the cafeteria, he spotted Ruby, and he smiled to himself, glad to see her. She made life perfect, she was perfect, and he found himself falling for her even more, even though he knew it could cause problems. Grabbing lunch, he joined his friends. “Oi, you lot,” he greeted with a grin.

Amara could feel her cheeks warm when she heard her friends’ questions. They were innocent questions, but what happened in her mind, imagining Ashton’s hands on her hips, and further imaginations running through her mind, certainly weren’t innocent at all. “Um, yeah, yeah, it was interesting,” she said with a casual shrug, though she could still feel the warmth in her cheeks. Lifting her gaze, she spotted Ashton already at a table, and she watched him for a moment but quickly looked ahead to avoid her friends seeing.

Michael was on his way to the cafeteria to meet up with the others when he realized he had a text. When he saw it was a reply from Sasha, he grinned slightly, his heart swelling, warmth spreading through him quicker than even electricity could. “Whatever the cafeteria ends up serving, I’m sure. What will you be having for your lunch?” He sent the text, smiling, hopeful that he’d at least get to see her at lunch, even if he couldn’t actually interact with her. Spotting his friends, he waved slightly. “Hey, lads,” he greeted with a grin, grabbing lunch before he sat down beside Ashton. “How’s the first day going?”

Ruby followed River closely, blushing as her thoughts drifted back to Calum, and she sighed happily, almost over-dramatically, as she grabbed a tray. "Oh, River, I'm in love!" She teased, falling into her best friend with a laugh, turning her tray the right way before grabbing some orange juice and a hefty portion of tuna salad, needing to keep a balanced meal for her running. "Nah, my morning's been great." Ruby smiled then, turning to look at her friends as she grabbed a bread roll, humming happily - going to pay, Ruby accepted her change before going to throw herself into an armchair, usually reserved only for teachers, dropping her bag at her feet and placing her tray on her lap, hoping Calum would be nearby.

Sasha listened to her friends happily, looking to Amara with a sweet smile when she noticed the sugar addict blush. "I have a really great feeling about this year." Sasha admitted happily, politely taking a tray and taking some soup and a bread-roll, silently hoping that this year would be better, especially after everything that happened the year before. Taking a cup of apple juice with the thought, Sasha distracted herself with the thoughts of Michael, how she was already falling for him so hopelessly, how he chased away every bad thought without even knowing that they lingered in the back of Sasha's mind. Paying for her lunch, Sasha followed her friends, gently lowering herself into the armchair carefully.

Luke's eyes studied the crowds as he walked towards the cafeteria, hoping he would see just a glimpse of River, knowing that she would make the rest of the day worth it, giving him his dose of her until he could be reunited with her again - because she already had such a beautiful affect on him, and Luke never wanted to lose that, never wanted to let it go, never wanted to let her go. It was amazing, how fast Luke was falling for River; and although she was a student, Luke didn't care. He would throw everything away if it meant he could have her to himself. Exhaling with the thought, Luke caught up to Calum, Ashton and Michael. "How's it going, fellas?" Luke greeted, trying to remain nonchalant as he grabbed his lunch, sitting in one of the armchairs. "My first day has been interesting so far." Luke smiled. "How's it for you lot, any horrible first years yet?"

Ashton collapsed into an armchair with a bacon sandwich, already covered in paint, face already covered with a smile that couldn't be erased, because his first day was already something Ashton would cherish - because it brought Amara into his life. Her existence was something to be cherished, but damn, so was the feeling she gave him. Being pulled from his thoughts when Michael sat next to him, Ashton looked to his friends with a dimpled grin. "Teaching is the best thing I've ever decided to do, honestly." Ashton confessed then, his lunch box in his lap. "But yeah, it's been interesting." Shooting Luke a look then, he smirked. "No horrible first years so far, please don't curse me." And allowing his eyes to stray a little, Ashton found Amara easily, his heart thumping excitedly in his chest. "I've met some really talented kids so far..."
