Jessie took a sip nodding. When Penelope asked her a question she smiled softly thinking. "Most?" she hummed. "I like how adventurous he is." she said honestly. "We can spend eternity learning and exploring together. That's what a partnership should be about right?"

Penelope smiled and listened to her, "that is true, he is adventurous, the problem with his adventurousness, is he doesn't always think things through enough," she said softly. She smiled softly, "you think you can temper his eagerness, with some caution?" she asked.

Jessie smiled listening. She was right. Sometimes he didn't seem to think it through and she was usually able to speak some common sense. "At least some times." she said honestly. "I'm not saying I will always make the right choice either but I think together we can both figure it out together." she said.

Penelope smiled and nodded, "Well that is good, he needs that," she said softly. She looked at Jasmine, "how much has he told her about Isabella?" she asked softly.

Jessie frowned and looked into her tea. "Not much. I keep trying to get him to tell me. I know it's hard and at first I didn't want to pry but now it's affecting our relationship and I am not going to let him hold back on telling me after our separation." She admitted.

Penelope nodded, "It's a raw subject, especially after the first lesson Maxwell decided to give you, he was proving a point," she said. She sipped her tea. "Viktor started as Isabella's donor," she said lightly.

Jessie's eyes opened wide. "He had always made it seem like he had turned her." she said. She bit her lip looking down. Would he have chosen to stay human? That would explain why he wasn't allowed to change anyone because he was the one, not Isabella. She bit her lip. Her entire perspective changed. No wonder he still liked to be bit. She blushed wondering if she should even be doing that, if it was a danger to him.

Penelope smiled softly, "he doesn't like to admit it, because his mind was fogged by it for years," she said softly. She looked at Jessie, "Have you noticed, he has a pretty high libido?" she asked. She looked at Jasmine, who was shaking her head, "She needs to know, I can tell she think's he is worried there is something wrong with her," she said.

Jessie bit her lip. Yes it wasn't idea to be addicted to someone but why was he ashamed of it? It wasn't like he was trying to get addicted. "I've noticed." she said glad her own was pretty comparable. Even if he just had superhuman stamina Penelope was right he was interested in sex a lot. "Jasmine thinks Viktor should tell me himself but I'm not sure he's going to." she said honestly.

She looked at Jessie, "His libido is so high, because Isabella turned him by accident while fucking him, while he was deeply addicted to her, she didn't even ask." Jessie nodded softly. "I wont tell him outright but I wont lie to him." she said. Jessie wouldn't jeopardize her relationship with Viktor but she also wouldn't try to hurt Penelope's relationship with him either. She listened her eyebrows furrowing. She didn't even know how a vampire was turned so how the hell could be be done on accident? She felt completely left in the dark and she wanted to fight with Viktor just so he knew how upset she was about it and about the separation but he didn't even want to be around her. Jessie knew Viktor had loved Isabella despite it all but damn was Jessie really starting to hate her. "Viktor said it was his fault Isabella died. He didn't tell me how it happened. I don't understand. I don't understand anything about your world." she admitted. In a twisted way Jessie was tempted to ask Maxwell all the questions everyone seemed to want to keep from her like how a vampire was made, and how Isabella died. Or even is a vampire could become addicted to a human. She sipped her tie that line between her eyebrows not going away.

Penelope smiled softly and nodded, "well ask Away Jessie, I've known the man for many years," she said softly. She hushed Jasmine, "to start with, Isabella died, because Viktor was too busy with his eyes on her, to catch a threat coming from another angle," she said. "Isabella, was killed by other vampires," she added.

Jessie frowned. "Why?" she asked. "Why did they want to kill Isabella?" she asked knowing that must have been so hard for Viktor.

Penelope looked at Jasmine, "because we don't all get along, and they were hunting in the wrong place," she said matter of factly. "Vampires are very territorial, especially if you threaten their anonymity," she said

Jessie frowned. "It sounds like the reckless one in that relationship was Isabella." she said trying but pretty much failing to hide her distain for the woman. How could she accidentally turn Viktor then put him in danger with no thought to his own feelings or the consequences for him? The selfishness was beyond her understanding. "Thank you Ms. Pembroke." she said softly. It gave her a lot to think about but it also made her feel like she was a good fit for Viktor now he just needed to see she wasn't addicted to him but this was real for her. Jessie wondered if this separation was bringing them closer or doing them harm. She knew she was still upset with him for it even if she understood more now.

Penelope smiled softly, "yes, I would agree with you there, but Viktor can be just as reckless," she said softly. She finished her tea, "now what shall we get up to after this?" she asked.

Jessie frowned. She couldn't think of a moment he would put her in that much danger but perhaps he had without her knowing it. She looked back up from her tea as Penelope changed the subject. She pushed a smile onto her face though small as it might be. "Well there are some great walking paths not far from here."

Penelope nodded softly, "that sounds lovely actually," she said lightly. She sipped her tea, she was worried she had told Jessie too much,.

Jessie nodded. Once they finished their tea they moved through the town to a little walking path light with tea lights and trellis lights revealing their moonflowers and night jasmine. It was a beautiful walk with lovely fragrance.

The girls talked for a while walking and enjoying each other's company until it was getting late. Jessie drove everyone back to the estate and looked up at the house wondering if Viktor could see her from where he was. If he even noticed her around.
