Keelan woke up relatively early the next day, needing to go take her car in to get the tire changed before her orientation started. She sacrificed some of her time to get ready by just throwing her hair up into a bun and pulling some scrubs on; she didn't even bother with makeup. She left while it was still dark and prayed that the spare tire would make it all the way to the dealership.

The wolves from last night were no longer on her mind, as she just wanted to focus on getting through orientation week and finally get on her rig. Today was Friday, so she just had to endure today.

Chris let himself sleep in for as long as he could, stretching across his bed even as daylight flooded through his window. He'd have to think about how to find his mate, not knowing where in the city she could be, or even if she lived here. That thought scared him - what if she'd just been passing through and he'd never be able to find her. He didn't have a name, or anything, just a face.

He couldn't forget that face.

Rosalyn woke up to Keelan already gone. She made her a cup of coffee and looked at what they had in the kitchen to cook. Ros sighed, seeing that they didn't have anything that would make anything that decent. She grabbed her keys and headed out to her car. There was no way she was going to let her and Keelan going to have another night of eating out.

She drove past the grocery store and had to turn around. She was still trying to get her feel for the town and was still a little lost getting some places, but she was determined to learn her way around. The only way she would be able to do that is for her to drive around.



Ricky woke up slowly. He didn't really want to wake up. He was still exhausted from last night and felt like he could sleep for a week straight. The only thing that made him get up was the face of his mate. He had to know how he was going to find her. He didn't know her name, and didn't know where she was from. He didn't know what he would do if she had been just passing through.

Keelan had gotten to the dealership early enough and waited around as they changed out her tire. She took out her phone to check her e-mails and browse her Facebook timeline. It seemed like not a lot was going on, and it all seemed...boring. Despite the move, her job, and the rescue she was trying to stand up, everything had felt so stagnant. Maybe she could convince Rosalyn to go with her to the Bahamas or something for a vacation, she'd spent so long in the North East she just wanted to go away for a little bit to somewhere new.

Just as she pulled up her messages, the mechanic came up to her, letting her know that her tire was changed and her car was waiting outside. She thanked him as he handed her the keys back, and left, forgetting about the idea as she drove to the hospital she'd be working for.

Chris stumbled out of bed, still tired and groggy, to go make some coffee. He couldn't sleep for shit, so he wasn't even going to waste his time. Anyways, there was a lot that needed to be done. As he poured his coffee, his phone started ringing. Balz's name appeared on the caller ID and Chris could only guess what he'd need.

"Sup?" he asked into the phone as he answered.

"I need a favor," Balz seemed a little too cheery, and like he was about to shower Chris with compliments.

"Yeah?" he asked, taking a sip from the hot mug, not being affected by the heat. It wasn't a wolf thing, just a Chris thing.

"Listen, I think I fucked my ankle up last night. Can you take me to the ER? Ashley left this morning for a convention out of town," he begged. I didn't have anything better to do, so why not?

Rosalyn wondered around the grocery store, grabbing what they needed at home and some things that she just liked to snack on. She checked the time, making sure that wasn't going to be late to her afternoon classes. She kind of wanted to avoided going today, but she would have to make up the work at some point. She went down another aisle, trying to stay on track.



Ricky came down the stairs, not sure what to do. He saw Chris on the phone and gave him a questioning look. He was still thinking about his mate and how he was going to meet her, but at this moment he was thinking about some coffee and food. "Something wrong?" Ricky asked when Chris was off the phone. He took a sip of coffee, trying to get his mind to wake up.

@ Shadow Moon;

Keelan arrived at the hospital, sitting in her car in the large, almost empty parking lot as she sipped on her latte. She'd been painfully tired from waking up so early, and knew she'd have to get her body used to wacky hours and little sleep again. When it was 20 minutes until her class, she started heading into the large building. She waited for an elevator to go to the 2nd floor, where the in-processing classroom was, completely ready to get the day over with.

"Yeah, I have to take Balz into the emergency room," Chris told Ricky before finishing his coffee and placing the mug in the sink. He didn't bother changing before he grabbed his keys and went to pick up his injured friend. He sent a text to him when he was in his driveway, and watched him limp out to his car before driving off towards the hospital.

He helped Josh up to the building, a girl in front of them kind enough to hold the door open for them. As they walked past her, it was like time was frozen. He recognized her from somewhere, but couldn't put his finger on just where she was from. He shook the thought out of his head as he put Balz in a wheelchair and rolled him towards the ER. Still, the thought bugged him, as if remembering who she was had been important.

Rosalyn rushed home and put everything up before getting back in her car. The line at the grocery store took longer than planned. She groaned looking down at her gas light. She would have to stop and get gas before going going to campus. She didn't need to have her car get stuck on the side of the road. She pulled into the nearest gas station and started to pump gas.



Ricky had decided that he was going to grab a snack from the gas station close to his home before running around and doing errands that needed to be done. He glanced over to see a girl standing at the gas pumps, leaning against her car. There was something familiar about her, and he couldn't figure out how. He just knew that she was familiar, and there was something very important about her. He was tempted to go get a closer look at her, but didn't want to be weird.

Keelan impatiently tapped her short fingernails on the table as she waited for the orientation to come to a closing. None of the rules, regulations or policies had been different from any other hospital or emergency services program she's worked for, and her duties as a paramedic didn't change at all. She thought to the weekend, wondering if Rosalyn would want to celebrate the end of the week with her.

She smiled at the thought of the days when the two girls went bar-hopping, stumbling from club to club with not a care in the world.

Chris dropped Balz off at his home; thankfully he didn't break his ankle, just sprained it. As he pulled out of the driveway to head home, he got a jolt of electricity as he remembered where he recognized that girl from. That was his mates friend! He recalled her wearing scrubs, did she work at the hospital? If he had to, he would go there every day trying to find her so he could meet his mate.

Rosalyn looked up to see someone looking at her who immediately looked away. She saw him turn and walk into the store. She didn't know what to think or what to do. She remembered that back in her hometown guys would flirt with her every once in a while, ad some acted as if they were too shy to talk to her. She turned back to the pump and watched it stop.



Ricky felt a little embarrassed that he got caught staring at her. He went down the aisles, trying to figure out where he had saw her. When he looked up and saw her driving off, he suddenly remembered who she was. She was his mate's friend. If she was at this gas station, then she must live somewhere close by. He was determined to find a way to befriend her so he could be introduced to her friend who was his mate. Or that was just the first plan that came to mind.

When Keelan got closer to the house, she called Rosalyn to see if she wanted to go out. Her orientation got out pretty earlier, meaning she'd have time to take a nice hot shower and get ready. Maybe one of them would meet a guy, who knew? They hadn't done anything in the city since they got here, so tonight would be a perfect opportunity.

"Hey," she said to Rosalyn when she answered the phone, "You don't have plans tonight do you?"

Chris sat on his couch as he figured out his plan. That girl worked at the hospital, but he didn't know when. He didn't want to seem like a stalker, but how was he supposed to find her again? What was the chance that he'd show up at the same time as her two times in a row? And in a hospital that huge? He had to tell Ricky, maybe he'd have a plan after they discussed it. After all, that girl was Ricky's mate so he was sure he'd want to come up with some plan.

Once they found her, Chris could find his mate.

Rosalyn sighed finally getting out of her class and heard her phone going off. She answered smiling when she saw who it was. She smiled and answered Keelan's question quickly. "I don't have any plans for tonight. Why? Do you have something in mind?" she asked. She was up for doing something other than staying home all night.



Ricky went back home, hoping that Chris was there. He was prepared to let him know that he ran into Chris's mate. When he entered the house, he saw Chris sitting on the couch. He looked like he was in deep thought. "I got some news for you," Ricky said, catching his alpha's attention. Ricky was still trying to find a way to make a plan to meet his mate and help his alpha meet his.

"I saw your mate at the gas station down the road," Ricky said once Chris looked his way.

Keelan was almost home now, excited to soak into her bath. "What do you say about our own personal pub crawl?" she asked, wanting to explore this city's nightlife. "We can get all dressed up and see what this city has to offer at night." She had felt it was an offer Rosalyn couldn't refuse. As she finished asking her question, she pulled into the driveway of their house and got out of the car.

"No shit," Chris said, "I saw yours at the hospital. I didn't realize who it was until I was long gone, though. Stupid wolf memory," he figured the same thing happened to Ricky. Memories of what happened in their wolf form were pretty vague, but if it was his mate he had seen, he would instantly know who she was. Even if they'd missed them this time, it put his mind at ease that they knew they lived in this city.

"We'll just have to look harder for them," Chris told Ricky reassuringly.

Rosalyn smiled and said, “Of course. I’m on my way home now and I’m getting out of these comfy clothes and get in something amazing.” She was excited. She had a good closet full of her favorite clothes, and she missed having a night life. She didn’t know what this town had in that matter but she was going to make the best of it. She got in her car and rushed home.



Ricky nodded and got a thought. “You know what if they go to the local bar?” he asked. He knew that was where a lot of the people their age hung out. People who were new to town would eventually end up there at some point, and who knows they might run into them there. Ricky felt like it might be a shot in the dark, but he was willing to try anything.

Keelan chirped at Rosalyn's enthusiasm to go out, and took no time to slip into the shower. She was on day three hair, and it was beginning to collect a little oil at the roots. Washing her hair had made her feel 100% better, and she hummed along to the music she was playing as she blew out her hair and straightened it before painting on her face. She would have to find out what Rosalyn was wearing before getting dressed. She wanted to see if her friend had wanted to dress casually or wear a small little number and heels. Keelan would be comfortable in both.

"You know, they don't really strike me as the bar or club type, to be honest," Chris sighed, "But we are, so why don't we go anyways? Plus, I think Ang is tending his bar tonight." Chris was always down to get a nice cold beer and hang out with his friends. Despite how slow or busy the places were, they always managed to find a way to have a shit load of fun.

Rosalyn fixed her make up and then began to dig through her closet. She smiled widely seeing the exact black dress that she was looking for. She had bought it a few months back, but had yet to were it. She pulled it on and got her favorite silver heels. She looked at herself and smiled. She felt like she hadn’t dressed up like this in a while and wished she got the chance to do so more often. She stepped out of her room wondering if Keelan was ready.



Ricky smiled and shrugged. Chris was right, but Ricky was a hopeful optimist every once in a while. Or he made himself be when he needed to be. He had to admit that even if their mates weren’t there, they would still find a way to have fun and will eventually find a way to get to their mates. Ricky smiled. “You want me to get a hold of the others? Get them to meet us there?” Ricky asked.

@ Shadow Moon;

Keelan stepped out of her room, still wrapped in a towel, at the same time Rosalyn appeared in the hall. "Girl, you look so gorgeous," she raved over the black dress Ros had bought months ago, excited to finally see her wear it. That dress was all she needed to confirm what she wanted to wear, "This is what I wanna wear," she grabbed Ros's hand, pulling her into her room to shower her a different black dress, which was still on it's hanger, but laid out on the bed, next to a pair of sleek black stilettos.

The dress would end up covering her arms, which were already fully covered in tattoos, but would reveal her usually hidden sternum tattoo and the sleeve that covered the entirety of her left leg. Keelan had a love for tattoos, and was eager to cover herself in black and white macabre art.

"Yeah, sounds good," Chris said, "I really need a fucking shower." Chris didn't do much when he was just going out to drink with his friends. His hair dried pretty straight by itself, so he didn't worry about doing it with heat. Plus, he'd end up covering it all with a thick black beanie, anyways. After drawing on some eyebrows, he decided he was good to go, wearing his usual ripped up skinny jeans and a baggy Bauhaus t-shirt under a black hoodie.

Rosalyn smiled at her friend. "You are just drop dead gorgeous," she said, smiling widely. She had always admired her friend's tattoos. Ros had few and had plans to get more, but she had to always be motivated to allow a needle of any kind to touch her skin. She was a bit of a coward when it came to needles. Rosalyn grabbed her clutch, looking at her friend. "You ready?" she asked.

Rosalyn hasn't been out to a bar in a while and was glad to see what this town had to offer even if it was small and not has intense a some of the city bars could be.



Ricky sent out a group text to their friends, telling them what's going on and to meet them there. He went back to his room changed shirts and made sure that his hair wasn't a complete mess. That was the one thing that he hated about long hair. The wind and just about anything could mess it up. He came back out and was waiting for Chris to meet him at the front.

@ Shadow Moon;

Keelan grabbed her small cherry red cross body Michael Kors bag, a gift from her parents and not something she'd spend money on herself, and put it on as she turned the light in her room off, "More than ready," she cheered, "the Uber should be here shortly. I'm getting drunk, drunk," she laughed, checking her phone to see where the Uber was, seeing the driver was just down the road.

Once they got out to Scranton, then they could walk from bar to bar.

"Who's driving?" Chris asked. He didn't mind driving, as he didn't intend on drinking too much. He just wanted to have a good time with his friends and hopefully meet his mate. Her face flashed through his mind, giving him goosebumps all over his skin, despite wearing his hoodie.

Rosalyn laughed. She was in agreement with Keelan. She was ready to get drunk. "So am i," she said. She knew that she hadn't gotten drunk in awhile, and she was so ready to let loose. She didn't know why, but she was kind of hoping that she would meet some people here in Scranton. "I'm surprised that we haven't gone out before now," she said, watching the buildings fly by in the car.



Ricky shrugged. "I don't mind driving," he said. He never drank much. He just enjoying hanging with his friends. He was also hoping that they would run into his mate, and he wasn't going to make a fool of himself in front of her. He could feel the energy running through him from just the thought of running into her. He got in the driver's side and waited for Chris to get it before pulling out of their driveway.
