Alma nodded tiredly as he suggested that they get something to eat, giving his hand a gentle squeeze as she followed him through the castle, wondering where he was taking her.

Caleb smiled softly, and led her to the kitchen. "I am sorry for the subterfuge, I just wanted to keep an eye on you," he said softly.

Alma shook her head a little. "I understand why you did it.. if I were in the same position, I'd probably do the same." She gave him a small smile before looking around the kitchen, wondering what he kept to eat.

Caleb smiled weakly, and moved over to the fridge, getting out something for them to eat. He placed it down, turning to look at her. She was so pretty.

Alma returned his smile as she took a seat, gladly digging into the meal that he had set in front of her, having not realized how hungry she was until the food was in front of her. She looked up when she noticed him looking at her, giving him a quizzical look. "Caleb? Is something wrong?

Caleb took his own seat. "Uh no, I was just appreciating how beautiful you are, I'm sorry," he said softly. He slowly ate his own meal. He truly did hate that she had to stick around.

Alma blushed as he called her beautiful, looking down at her plate in embarrassment. "I-I don't know about that.." She murmured with a little shrug, soon finishing her meal before sitting back in her chair, looking over at him. "Do... Do I have to go back in the cell?" she asked with a frown, hoping that he'd let her stay upstairs now that she knew his secret.

Caleb looked at her, "Of course your beautiful," he said softly. He waited for a moment considering, "only at night, I don't want to have to lock myself down there again," he said lightly. He smiled gently, "come on I'll show you around," he said.

Alma only blushed brighter as he called her beautiful again, grateful when he said that she wouldn't have to spend all her time in the cell anymore, and when he offered to show her around. She nodded a little, putting her plate in the sink before walking back over to him, taking his hand and giving it a little squeeze once she was ready.

Caleb smiled, he was happy to have company finally. He led her around the castle, showing he more of it than last time. He then took her up onto the walls, to show her outside. "That's the town way over there," he explained. "This castle isn't really known by anyone, thankfully," he said softly.

Alma happily followed him through the castle, occasionally asking a question or two when she thought of one. She gasped in amazement when he led her up the walls and pointed out the town, amazed by the beautiful view. "Wow.. How does no one know about this place? It's huge."

Caleb smiled softly, "Because the forest hides it, plus the outside is surrounded in stinging nettles," he admitted. He held her hand, "I promise once, I know you're not cursed like me, you can go home," he said.

Alma frowned a little as she looked at him when he took her hand, giving it a little squeeze. "But then you'll be all alone... That's not fair." She wished there was something she could do for him, some way to lift whatever curse was on him and set him free so he could live his life normally instead of hiding away.

Caleb looked at her, "its not fair keeping you here with me," he said softly. He paused for a moment, "I mean you could always come visit, if you wanted, but probably best to keep it to day time," he said softly.

Alma frowned a bit. "You could come visit me, too.. You shouldn't force yourself to stay cooped up in here all of the time, Caleb. You're not a monster." She pointed out, giving his hands another squeeze.

Caleb nodded, "Yeah I suppose maybe, I just like to stay in as much as possible, so I don't hurt people," he admitted.
He held her hand tight, "Come on lets continue the tour," he said softly.

"You wouldn't hurt anyone, Caleb. You're not the thing that you turn into." Alma frowned, but nodded when he suggested they continue the tour, beginning to grow cold standing outside.

Caleb finished leading her around the castle. He finished the tour outside his own room, he smiled gently at her. "Alright so that's the tour, feel free to wonder," he said gently.

Alma smiled as he showed her around and finished the tour, pointing at his room curiously. "You didn't show me in here. Am I allowed to go in?" She asked curiously, although she was already opening the door to look inside.
