“It doesn’t have to be now but you realize you’ll have to eventually. Those pills won’t last forever.” Himchan said.

Jongup didn’t say anything. He just stayed quiet, staring at his bed sheets.

Zelo sighed. “I’ll just use them until they won’t work anymore..”

‘Then you will have to mate and Jongup I know it’s going to hurt your...’

‘Zelo, you can mate with one of them or somebody. I know I’m not an alpha and I never will be. I can’t satisfy you with your heats and I don’t want you to have to keep pushing them off and taking pills that are eventually not going to work because you don’t want to hurt me...’ he trailed off, looking up at Zelo before back down at his lap.

Himchan frowned, “he’s right, Zelo. I know you don’t want to mate with anyone but Jongup’s right, he’s not an alpha...if it was up to us, we’d all be alpha’s, that way we could all help you.” He sighed.

Zelo didn’t say anything, just looked at his lap. He didn’t want to hurt Jongup and he figured if he mated with Yongguk or Himchan, it would. “Okay, but I don’t want to mate with either of you two...I don’t want to hurt Jongup anymore than it already is..”

Jongup just got up, ‘I’m hungry,’ he muttered as he walked out of the room. He went quiet, some tears rolling down his cheeks as he went into the kitchen to grab himself a blood bag. He wished he was an alpha so this wouldn’t be this way. He wanted to mate with Zelo. He really did but he can’t and that hurts. He poked a hole in the bag before pouring it into a glass. He looked at the dark red liquid as it sat still in the glass but made no move to drink it. He just stared at it.

“I should go...I have work soon..” Zelo said, getting up and getting dressed before walking out before Yongguk or Himchan tried to stop him.

‘Do you want someone to walk you to work?’ Jongup asked him quietly.

“If you’d like to.” Zelo said, stopping by the door.

‘I would,’ Jongup walked up next to Zelo.

Zelo smiled, “okay, hyung.”

He took Zelo’s hand, interlacing their fingers as they walked toward Zelo’s work place.

Zelo smiled, “thank you for walking me to work, hyung.”

Jongup smiled at him, ‘no problem. I enjoyed the walk.’

“I was thinking, it would make me feel really guilty if I asked Yongguk or Himchan to mate with me..”

Jongup’s smile faltered for a second, ‘don’t feel guilty about asking one of them.’

“I don’t want to hurt you though..” Zelo said.

‘It’s going to hurt whether you ask them or somebody else. I can’t do anything and I don’t want you to have relying on those pills because soon they’re not going to work,’ he looked down.

Zelo frowned, “I know..” he said as they got to his work. “I’ll come over after I get off tonight and we can talk about it some more, okay?”

Jongup nodded as he watched him walk inside before leaving. He didn’t pay attention on his walk home.
