Feel So Good

Zelo sighed as he began his long shift. He still didn’t know if he wanted to mate with Yongguk or Himchan or another alpha.

He got home before the sun came up and went straight to his room without a word to anybody.

Once Zelo’s shift was over, he clocked out before walking out. He yawned as he started walking back towards Jongup’s.

He was halfway there when his nose picked up the scent of an alpha, who was coming towards him. He froze up, hoping they’d just walk past him without realizing he was in heat.

The man could smell the sweet scent of the cat hybrid from far away. He smelled so good, like fresh strawberries. Once he got close, he pulled Zelo close to him, ‘hey baby.’

Zelo swallowed the lump in his throat, “h-hello..”

‘You smell so sweet like fresh strawberries,’ he pulled Zelo even closer to him, ‘I noticed your in heat. I can smell it. Do you want me to help you?’

“No thank you...I’m on pills that are helping me.” Zelo said, trying to pull away.

‘Those pills won’t work forever and you know they are hurting your body every time you push away your heat.’

“I know that but I’m not ready to mate yet..” Zelo said, pulling his hand free and turning to look at the alpha.

Jongup came by to come pick up Zelo and saw that. He was by Zelo’s side in seconds, ‘are you okay? You ready to come home?’

Zelo nodded, taking Jongup’s hand as they walked off. He looked back at the alpha who was smirking at him. Zelo turned around, squeezing Jongup’s hand.

Once they got far enough away, Jongup looked up at Zelo, ‘are you okay? Did he do or say anything to you, you didn’t like or want?’

“He’s an alpha. He could smell my heat..” Zelo said quietly as they walked.

Jongup nodded, looking down at his feet again as they walked, ‘I can see you want to mate Zelo. You should. The pills are not going to work forever and taking them like that and suppressing you’re heat isn’t good and I can’t help you with it. I don’t want you to put it off so you avoid hurting me because i don’t want you to be hurt or in pain,’ Jongup looked up at him before back down at his feet.

“I know...I just want to find a mate I’m compatible with, not just some stranger on the street..”

Jongup nods, not looking back up from the ground. He meant everything he said to Zelo but it still broke his heart to say that.

Zelo squeezed his hand as they walked inside their hideout.

Everyone looked up as the two entered. Jongup looked up momentarily before dropping his gaze back to the floor.

“Everything okay?” Himchan asked them.

‘An alpha stopped Zelo on the street because he could smell his heat,’ Jongup still didn’t look up from the floor.
