In Giovanni's mind, girls were odd creatures that he can just never fully understand. Some took a long time getting ready, while others were done pretty quick. Some were super girly and liked playing with make-up while others were rougher. Not that he's against that though. He just can never wrap his mind around them. Dudes just need to get dressed, come to their hair and then go. Girls, they had more steps it seemed. It always blew his mind. Even though he's not really the dating type, Gio's learned that you never rush a woman.

Which was why e was kinda surprised that Arielle was done getting cleaned up so quickly. He was kinda excepting for her to take a while. To have to change her clothes or something, but no. She was done quite quickly and was practically rushing him out the door without a word. "Um, okay?" Giovanni murmured quietly as he moved to walk towards the door. Glancing down, Gio noticed that Arielle seemed a little bit nervous. About what though, he wasn't quite sure. Him being in her room? Maybe?

"So," Giovanni murmured quietly as he glanced down at Arielle as he started to walk down the hall. "Anything about the place change while I was gone?" Gio asked, wondering if Jax and his parents changed things since his temporary banishment.

Once they were a few steps away from the bedroom, Arielle felt like she could start to breathe easy. Some of her nerves seemed to flow off of her as the young woman's body completely untensed. It wasn't that Jax didn't attack her in other areas of the castle. She had a few incidents here and there but her bedroom was definitely his favorite spot. To the point where the man would force her to go there with him at times even if they were on the opposite side of the castle. Arielle assumed he liked it so much because it was a quiet place where no one would disturb them. Jax probably did it to keep appearances up with everyone...

"A few things have been changed," Arielle told him, her eyes glancing out of the window before looking back at Gio. "Your room was..." She let out a small hum for a moment, trying to think of a way to explain what had happened. "Let's say it was renovated. Your office was given to Jax. Any trace of you was removed. That was Jax and your father's doing. Though I am sure you know that. But, your mother has been trying to keep herself busy with redecorating. She had a lot of updates down in the garden." Arielle's voice lowered a bit. "I think partly to annoy your father. They seem to busiest when he's out there relaxing. Even messing with the gazebo."

She cleared her throat a little. "She even made some updates to the music room. Walls painted, some plants, new furniture. Even a brand new violin, much nicer than before... I know she didn't do it for me but... well it was nice, that's all." Arielle fiddled with her fingers a bit. Although she did not have a relationship with the Queen, the princess had been keeping an eye on her. Mostly to see how she was doing but nothing more. "I don't believe you'll want to go down to the garage anytime soon. I heard the servants gossiping in the halls about one of the cars looking like it was crash. Let's just say that someone has been furious this week about your return."

Arielle's eyes lifted up to meet his. "What were you up to when you were away?"

A couple of small hums escaped from Gio as he listened to Arielle as she explained to him what had been going down. He wasn't really surprised about the things with his mother or what had been going on with his things. He wasn't really expecting them to keep things the same. It'd probably leave a bad taste in his families mouths. "I kinda assumed that," Giovanni murmured quietly, as he remembered seeing one of the servants taking his suitcases towards a different part of the castle.

Slowly, Gio lowered his gaze towards Arielle as she spoke of the cars. His eyes narrowing for a moment before going back to normal. "Figures he'd do something like that," Gio mumbled quietly as he looked up and just kept walking with Arielle. His cars were his babies, Gio loved the things. He drove each of them and made sure to get maintenance on them quite regularly as well. "But, whatever." Gio, let out a small sigh. "I was thinking of selling them anyways, I don't really need so many cars anyways." Glancing down towards Arielle, Gio slowly moved an arm and wrapped it loosely around Arielle's shoulders for a moment to give her a small hug before releasing her. "What do you say about helping me find some charities to give the money for the cars to?"

Releasing Arielle, Gio arched an eyebrow as he glanced at her and then away. Figuring he'd slowly lead them to the music room. He always loved his mother's taste in things, so when she wanted to change things, he was always up for it. "What have I been up to?" Gio repeated. "Nothing really, my mother had me signed up for rehab because she thought I was a drug addict." The right corner of Gio's lips twitched. "I pretty much just worked out in my little apartment and explored the city. Seeing places I normally wouldn't have visited before. There's a whole other side that we, royals, don't usually see Ari and a lot of it isn't very safe or fair." A small sigh escaped from Gio. "I want to change that."

"Wait really?" Arielle asked as she looked up at Giovanni, surprise written all over her face. She would have never thought that the prince would want to sell his cars. It was definitely something that she thought of as his hobby. "You want to sell them?" As Gio wrapped an arm around her shoulder, the young woman was more than happy to lean into him and lay her head on his gently. Though once he released, she shifted back to how they were walking before. "I would love to help you with that." She smiled up at him warmly. "But are you sure you want to sell some of your cars? How many are you thinking about getting rid of?"

She let out a small hum once Giovanni explained what he had been up to the last month or so. "Rehab couldn't have been very fun." She murmured to him gently. "Especially since you weren't even a drug addict..." Arielle glanced off to the side for a moment. It was a curious thing, if showing the evidence she had found to the King right away, before Gio was even taken away... Would it have made a difference? Maybe not, after all, Arielle didn't know what she was looking at when she saw it, having thought it was for something completely different. So how would the King have known it was a set up until after it occurred?

"I am sure that you have experienced things that no one else in this castle has. But, I know that you can make a difference, Gio." Arielle looked back up at him, her eyes softening. "We just need to figure some things here first. But that should give you some time to come up with a plan, shouldn't it? To make the change that you want?" The woman glanced up and down the hallway for a moment before reaching over and lightly taking Gio's hand into hers. "I really missed you, Gio." She whispered to him. "I am so glad that you're back."

The right corner of Giovanni's lips twitched up into a small smirk as he listened to how surprised Arielle was. "I'm serious, I don't really need them. I just wanted them at the time." Gio said calmly as he looked down at Arielle. Taking in her surprised expression. "I was thinking probably most, I just don't know what cars to keep. I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't attached to them. They're nice cars, but kinda just taking up room." A small sigh from Gio, it did kinda ache to think about getting rid of his things, but hey. It was about time, Gio needed to grow up.

A soft warm chuckle escaped from Gio as he listened to Arielle. His lips twitching up into a small soft smile. "I'm glad you have so much faith in me," Gio said quietly as he felt her rest her hand in his. Slowly, Gio intertwined his fingers with Arielle's. "I missed you too," Gio said quietly, and then without really thinking about it, he leaned over and pressed a small kiss to the side of Arielle's head. A small act of affection before pulling back, but keeping their hands intertwined together. "We'll make things right here. Together."

As they turned a corner, Gio slowed his walk and glanced towards Arielle once more. "Do you think you can play something for me?" Giovanni asked, his tone soft as he glanced towards the music room. It was the room they were chilling in before things went to shit between them. "I promise to not be an ass again." It was meant to be a tease, but for some reason, he couldn't offer a smirk or anything. He just felt exhausted. Mentally and physically.

"Well, you have to make sure to keep at least one so you can drive me around." Arielle told him softly with a little bit of a smile on her face. It was a nice thought, just being able to drive through the country with Gio. Or, really anywhere. Though she figured that they wouldn't be able to do anything outside of the castle together for a while. The rumors it would cause would be too much to handle. Especially after they had been engaged before her and Jax were. "Sounds like you'll have to think about what you want to keep. You don't have to get rid of all of them. But, I do think it sounds like a great idea." She squeezed his hand gently.

"Of course I have faith in you." Arielle murmured, closing her eyes as he pressed a kiss to her head. The princess seemed to just melt at the gentle touch. And any remaining anxiety that she had was gone. This was all she wanted at the moment. To be close to Gio. He was the one she felt safe around. Like she could finally relax and breathe freely. Though, it was more than that. And while Arielle wasn't sure just how much she was ready to admit, but there was more to her relationship with Gio than safety. She did like him.

"Yes, absolutely." Arielle told him gently as she walked into the room with him, closing the door behind them. The door had gotten a complete upgrade. Some of the instruments were upgraded to better ones, the room brighter, plants bringing life to the space. Even the couch was bigger and better than before. "I appreciate that. You can be an ass sometimes." She teased him gently before releasing his hand to pick up the violin. "What do you want to hear?"

With a small nod of his head, Giovanni raised his head and looked around the room. Taking in the new wall color, the plants, and the decor in general. The place looked more welcoming, more family-centered. He liked it, it was very like his mom. Warm and welcoming. Not a place to scare off those who didn't know much about music or wanted to learn to play something on their own.

Walking towards the couch, Giovanni said down with a small sigh. He leaned back and rested his arms along the back of the couch. "Anything?" Gio offered and then gave a little shrug of his shoulders. "Something light, happy-sounding?" He asked, watching Arielle with a soft expression plastered on his face. A small smile playing along his lips. "Have you been practicing anything else?" Giovanni asked, curious as to rather or no the Princess took interest in another instrument while he was away.

"You know, while I was away. I found a park." Giovanni said quietly as he listened to Arielle play. "People would gather there at night, and play music." He smiled a little bit at the thought. "People played, violin, drums, keyboard and some sang. It was a melting pot of talent. I want to take you there one of these days, Ari. I think you'll have fun." Gio smiled a little thinking of the possible fun they could have.

"Luckily for you, I have something in mind for that." Arielle said as she picked up the violin from it's stand. There was a moment where she just looked it over slowly before picking at the strings to determine if it was in tune or not. "I have been practicing the piano lately." Arielle told him gently. "It just has been a lot easier to play it since... So I have gotten rather good in the last month, actually. But not good enough to really play a whole song without messing up."

Lifting the violin up, Arielle set it down where it belonged against her neck and under her jaw. Setting it in caused her to wince a bit in pain as it was placing pressure on the bit marks. But once placed, the arm holding it locked into place, trying to ensure that the violin wasn't wiggling around and making it worse on her wounds. She then took in a deep breath before closing her eyes and beginning to play a song for Giovanni.

A little smile came over her face as she could hear Giovanni talking to her during her playing. It was actually nice what he was saying, Gio wanting to bring her out to what sounded like a local music festival. Something that the young woman thought would be fun. She wanted to go out, listen to others play, hear songs she had never heard of before. She liked the idea of Gio taking her there.

Once she finished the song, Arielle gingerly took the violin off of her neck. "I would like to go to that park, Gio." She whispered.

To be honest. Gio had kinda forgotten how good at playing Arielle was at the violin. He was expecting something soft and simple. A place that a beginner would be able to play, something with maybe two or three keys being played. So, when she started to play a song that sounded like it was a little complex, it blew Giovanni's mind. His eyes widened as he sat up straight and leaned forward. His elbows resting against his knees as he felt like he was being drawn in.

"Wow," Gio said quietly, a little breathless because he was completely lost in the music as Arielle was playing. "That was amazing," Gio murmured as he watched her handle the instrument with care. Taking note of her winces as she moved the thing. "You've gotten even better at playing that thing, Ari. I'm amazed." Gio said, and then offered her a small smile. Glad that she was still doing something that she liked to do.

Then, as Arielle said that she'd to go to the park with her. A small grin slowly displayed along Gio's lips. "Great." He said softly as he slowly stood up and walked towards her. "We'll sneak out this weekend, how does that sound?" Gio asked, glancing down at the violin and gently taking it from Arielle's hands. He raised it slightly to get a better look at the instrument before running his free hand's fingers lightly along the wires. Amazed that something so simple looking could make such beautiful sounds. "I'll keep you with me the whole time, I promise. Unless you don't want to? We can go once things are completely safe if you want." Gio shifted his gaze back towards Arielle as he spoke. Lowering the violin in the process so that he didn't accidentally break it or drop it.

As Giovanni started to walk up to her, Arielle slowly stopped playing. Once he was in front of her, the music had completely faded out of the room and before she could set the violin down, Gio was taking in from her hands, which she easily let him do. The young woman smiled up at him lightly, watching him as he slowly looked over the instrument that she loved so much. But nervousness entered her small frame easily as Gio mentioned sneaking out and her smile dropped.

"I want to go but I don't think that is a good idea, Gio. At least not until things are resolved." She whispered to him, a frown now coming over her lips. She reached out and gently took the violin from the prince now that he was no longer looking it over. Her fingers lightly brushed against his before the instrument was out of his hands and in hers. Arielle lightly rubbed her thumb along the neck of it before continuing on. "Jax will be upset when he finds out I left the castle. Even more so when he hears I went with you. I don't... I don't want to get punished."

Arielle turned her back to the man, not wanting to see the look on his face from her words, or for him to see hers. Her new fiancée's abuse was no secret. Arielle had told Gio once before, after the first time, and now the human was sure she did not have to remind him as it now littered her skin. She had been so unhappy for so long and to now have Giovanni with her brought her relief from some of that. But, Arielle knew she still needed to be careful. His mere presence didn't stop everything. She would still step with caution until Jax was gone, and she had to think through what would upset the man. It was not like Gio knew what set Jax off.

The young woman headed over to the stand, setting the violin back down in it, along with the bow. "Maybe this will be resolved soon," She whispered.

It wasn't really that Giovanni expected Arielle to jump at the idea to go with him and sneak out. No, he had been pretty sure she'd turn the idea down, but it never hurt to ask. Especially since it was so fucking obvious how upset and lonely the Princess seemed to be feeling. A small hum escaped from the Ex Crown Prince as he watched Arielle walking away from him, towards the opposite side of the room. Things were just like Arielle had told him it seemed, Jax had her on a leash.

Slowly, the Prince moved towards Arielle. His footsteps light, but he made sure to make some noise so that he didn't scare the young Princess. Slowly, Gio reached out and placed a hand onto the young girl's shoulder. Turning her towards him, Gio slowly wrapped his arms around Arielle and just held her. Not making a move to kiss her, or be inappropriate to her. It was just to offer a small sense of security. To remind her that he was there, that he was going to protect her now that he was back. That he wasn't going to allow for Jax to punish her for the littlest thing. Gio was going to change things, he was going to get his spot back and make sure that Arielle finds some sort of happiness here.

"We'll find a way. Together." Giovanni said quietly as he held onto Arielle, tightening his hold for a mere moment before slowly letting her go. "I'll make Jax stop, I won't allow him to hurt you while I'm around. He won't get his damn fangs anywhere near you if I have anything to say about it." Gio said, trying to seem strong, determined. Except, he was also a little scared. He hasn't been around Jax in person in quite a while. He only talked on a secure line with his bastard brother once or twice a month if they can manage. So, Jax was honestly a kind of an enigma to him.

"It's getting late, why don't we go have dinner and then retire for the night?" Gio suggested, finally letting Arielle go as he took a small step back. His gaze focused on Ari as he spoke. Trying to gauge her expression even though he could feel everything through their shared bond mark.

As she felt herself getting pulled into Gio's arms, Arielle leaned into him. Her body pressed right into his, and she laid her head against his chest. As her eyes closed, the young woman laid her hands on his sides and lightly held onto him. It was just so easy for her to melt into him at this point. Gio brought a sense of normalcy back, of safety and comfort. There was no place else in the castle that she would rather be than by his side.

Unfortunately, that was not the way things could stay. Arielle couldn't always be with him, for many reasons. So she just had to be thankful he was there and take the time that she could get from him.

The princess let out a small hum as his hold around her tightened. Though, once it started to loosen, Arielle leaned back to look up at him, meeting his eyes in time as he started to reassure her that he would protect her from Jax. Bits of worry started to enter back into her glaze and her chest tightened up a bit. "That would... I would really appreciate that, Gio." She whispered as her grip on his sides tightened a bit. The truth was, she was worried about Gio getting involved in the situation. Arielle was desperate for it to stop, for his protection, so she wouldn't say it. But she was afraid that it would get worse, that Gio would get hurt or ruin his chances as prince. But Arielle couldn't get herself to warn him or tell her worries. She just wanted it to stop.

Once he took a step back, Arielle did as well. "Okay," She whispered to him before following the man out of the music room.
It had taken some time but the princess was able to get the courage to go back to her room to change for the evening. Though the moment she was dressed in her emerald green silk pj set, she couldn't find it in herself to stay there for the night. So, like so many before, Arielle roamed the castle until she found a room that was empty. She had gone through a few before finding the quiet library. Her eyes glanced around for a moment before heading over to the window bed. It was just meant to be a place to sit in the sun and read. But, so quickly, Arielle had laid down on the one cushion, curled up and fell asleep the best she could.

Like so many nights before, the bond that Giovanni had with Arielle kept him up. Her fear and anxiety were coursing through the young Prince's veins and he just couldn't stop tossing and turning. Moving this way and that to get comfortable in his bed. Nothing seemed to work though, so once again. When the Prince couldn't sleep, he'd gotten up. Pulled on a pair of sweatpants and went to walk around the seemingly empty halls of the castle. His bare feet baking even less sound now that he wasn't wearing shoes to alert those around him. Making sneaking around so much easier.

Shoving his hands into his pockets, Giovanni looked around as he walked. He was given a room in a different section of the Palace. It was meant more so for powerful visitors, so he hadn't really seen the wing much. Mostly, he'd been on the side where his family resided. With Jax being the new heir though, Gio was forced from his comforts and given what he was allowed to have. Which, to be honest, Gio couldn't really find any reason to complain about. Especially since it was a huge upgrade compared to the crappy little apartment he was allowed to live in when he was kicked out of the castle.

Stopping in his exploration, Giovanni sensed something was wrong. He could smell Arielle's human scent as well as hear her heart beating from a nearby room. Which was weird because her bedroom wasn't in this area. Unless she wasn't able to sleep and just wanted to read a bit more because she couldn't sleep well. Either way, it intrigued Giovanni and he moved towards the scent. Following it towards the library. The Prince knocked lightly before slowly opening the door and the sight that was before him confused him quite a bit.

"Ari?" Gio said quietly as he noticed the young human was asleep on the ottoman by the window. His lips slowly moved into a small frown as he moved towards the young girl. Keeping the door open just in case, he didn't want people to think they were getting up to something in the middle of the night.
Walking closer to Arielle, Gio kneeled near her head and slowly shook her shoulder. "Ari, wake up," Giovanni said quietly so that he didn't end up spooking the young lady. "You're in the library, why don't we take you back to your room?" Gio suggested once the young girl's eyes started to flutter open.

At first, when she felt herself getting shook awake again, Arielle's first thought was that one of the servants had found her again. She had tried to pick a spot where they did not roam around at night, but the princess could never be sure. The woman did not know their schedule nor what they did on their off time. So, at first, she let out a tired little sigh as she allowed her eyes to open up slowly. Though as they fluttered open, Giovanni was the face that she saw, not one of some nameless servant.

With that sight, Arielle was up in an instant. Even more so when he mentioned bringing her back to her room. Arielle's eyes were quick to look away from his, suddenly finding it difficult to meet his glaze. "I was just reading and I..." Arielle trailed off, realizing that the little lies she told the servants who found her wouldn't work. First of all, despite being in the library, there was not a single book near her. They were still all up in their appropriate shelves. And, while the servants would not question it, she knew that Gio would.

Arielle slowly sat up on the ottoman, her head dropping down. The confusion that filled Giovanni was sitting in her chest. It made sense. How could he understand why she was sleeping in the library? And although Arielle had been able to freely tell Gio that Jax had been hurting her, she didn't really... Well, she felt a bit too embarrassed to say that she was afraid to go into her own bedroom. That Jax had terrified her so well that she was frightened to visit her own little area of the castle. That she had been sleeping anywhere but there. She was meant to be strong. Meant to be the future leader of her country. How could she admit to being so weak? Arielle really had fallen hard ever since she got here. A small fish in a big pond as they say... More like fish food in a big pond.

"It's okay, Gio," Arielle told him, a bit of a frown on her face. She was sure that he could feel the anxiousness that was rising up in her. Just like she could feel his confusion. Arielle didn't want to explain it to him but he would know if she was lying in an instant. Besides, Arielle didn't want to lie to him. She just didn't want to tell the truth either. "I am okay here. You don't have to bring me back."

At first, Giovanni thought that Arielle was going to lie to him. He could sense it before the word was to escape past those soft like. Then, it's like Arielle knew her mistake and just stopped. She knew Gio and Gio was pretty sure he knew the Princess just as well. She must have had a nightmare and just didn't want to stay in the dark for too long. Scared of a monster under the bed like a little child. The thought caused a small smile to slowly grow on the young man's lips before allowing it to slip off completely.

"Well, I can't just leave you here," Giovanni murmured quietly, his head shaking ever so slightly. "Especially when you're dressed like this," Giovanni murmured quietly as he slowly glanced at the silk nightgown that she was wearing. Noticing how it seemed to mold to her body in all of the right places. She looked quite attractive in something so light, something that made her seem much more feminine than she already was. Except, those aren't thoughts that he should be having right now. No, he needed to focus here. She was engaged to his older brother now, not him.

Clearing his throat, Giovanni looked back towards Arielle's tired face and let out a small sigh. His lips moving downwards into a small frown. "Want to get some ice cream from the Kitchen then?" Giovanni asked, reaching out, Gio slowly ran his fingers through Arielle's hair to push it away from her face. An action that he really didn't think about doing, but it felt right to do at the moment. "Or, do you want to come to sleep with me?" Gio asked, and then slowly frowned and cleared his throat. "No not with me, I uh. I just meant in my bed, with me. We have a pillow between us, I swear." Gio mumbled, standing up he glanced away from the Princess and slowly ran his fingers through his hair. Feeling completely embarrassed by what he had just told her.

It seemed that Giovanni was following the same path as the servants who had come and woken her up before. That they just simply couldn't leave her be. The moment they found the princess sleeping, it was time to whisk her away - usually back to her room. Though it seemed that Giovanni's reasoning was how she was dressed and Arielle could not help but be slightly assumed by that. "I am dressed perfectly fine. There is nothing indecent about it, Gio." She murmured to him. "What would you want me to wear?"

Her eyes closed as Gio reached out and brushed her hair away from her face. It was a gentle touch but nonetheless, one that she enjoyed. Her eyes opened up and she looked back at into his eyes. That was when Gio started to fumble over his words. As he stood up, making some room between them, Arielle started to smile and then started to laugh lightly at Giovanni's misfortune.

"I have never seen you flustered before." Arielle told him as she slid off of the ottoman and onto her feet. The silk set shifted around her body at her moves until settling down. "I really shouldn't but... do you think you can sneak me into your room?" She asked as she looked up at him. If Jax were to find out, Arielle was sure she would be locked in her own room for a week. But that was if he did. And, Arielle found, Jax did not enjoy looking for her changing sleeping arrangements throughout the castle. Besides, with Giovanni by her side there was hope she could actually get a peaceful sleep.

"Pants, it would be less weird if you wore pants or something with that gown," Giovanni replies, his right hand raising and running through his hair lightly. His head shook a little bit and he couldn't help but blow it out through his mouth. He could not believe he was getting flustered around Arielle. He's been around a lot of women before, so why was it suddenly different now? Sure, she was in her nightgown, and it was raised a bit but. Another small sigh escaped from Gio. He was too tired to think about this sort of shit.

Then, when she sat up and asked to come to his room. Gio couldn't help but purse his lips. He didn't actually think that she'd accept that idea, so he was a little thrown off. "As long as you can keep quiet about it, then I can. Just don't brag that you slept with a Prince or something." He tried to joke, but then instantly regretted it. Fuck, what was wrong with him tonight? He's seen plenty of women in their sleepwear, why was Arielle any different than them? Sure, most weren't royal or nobles, but that shouldn't really have mattered much. Right?

A small sigh escaped from Giovanni and he couldn't help but roll his eyes. He needed sleep, it's been a long-ass day. "Just, come on. I'll sneak you in." Gio mumbled and turned his back towards the young Princess. The young Prince headed towards the door and slowly opened the door. He really didn't need to look to see if he could see a servant or anything, but just to ease the Princess' worries he'd act human for that part. Then, he motioned for Arielle to follow him. If one of the staff members saw him sneaking the Princess into his room, he'd be in huge trouble. Especially since he'd just got his position as Prince reinstated.

It felt like it took longer than it should have, but Giovanni and Arielle eventually made it to his room. Well, the room he was allowed to use. "Home, sweet home," Gio mumbled quietly as he opened the door and walked inside, keeping it open for Arielle before closing the door. Heading over to the closet, Giovanni pulled out an extra pillow that they can put in between them both.

"I think it's more likely that you would brag about getting to sleep with me, you fool." Arielle responded with an amused smile on her lips. She had never seem Giovanni like this, and the woman was enjoying it immensely. He was just tripping over his words and saying somewhat strange things. It was cute... He was cute.

Once he agreed to sneak her in, Arielle nodded and followed Giovanni around the castle. She stayed close to him, even to the point where she ended up holding onto the back of his shirt to ensure that Gio couldn't get far without her. Although this had it's own consequences to it, it felt better than going back to her room. There was no doubt that she felt safer with Gio. As long as he got her in and out without anyone else being the wiser, it would be a good night. Probably the best night's sleep she had in a month.

Now safely inside Giovanni's room, Arielle closed the door quietly behind the two of them. At least his room was away from everyone else in the castle. It was actually closer to her room now that he was no longer sleeping in the family area. "Thank you for letting me stay with you." Arielle said quietly as she headed over to the bed, sitting down on one side. Her head turned, watching Giovanni grab another pillow.

Her eyes started to slowly shift around, taking in the room that was now Giovanni's. Although she had never spent much time even looking into Giovanni's room, this one didn't feel like him. It was just a generic room.... Actually, it reminded her a bit of the room they had given her. "Are you going to decorate it?"

With pillow in hand, Giovanni turned around towards his bed. Pausing as his eyes land on Arielle laying down in his bed. Looking so relaxed, her hair splayed across the pillow like a halo. It's been a while since Gio had seen a girl relaxed in his bedroom. Usually, they'd be clawing at his clothing right away to get him to fuck them. "Decorate what?" Giovanni asked as he slowly moved towards the bed and placed it in the middle of the bed.

"If you're referring to this bedroom, then no. I'm not." Giovanni murmured quietly as he moved to lay down on his side of the bed. He adjusted the blankets so that they're at his waist and looked up towards the cieling as he rested his hands on his stomach. "I have more important things on my mind than decorating my sleeping arrangements. Besides, I don't know if this'll be my permanent bedroom or if my parents are going to move me back to the family wing."

A small sigh escaped from Giovanni as he raised a hand and ran it through his hair once more. Then he turned towards Arielle and leaned up slightly. Looking at her over the pillow wall. "Have you decorated your room since you've gotten here?" Gio asked, throwing her own question back at her.

"I bet they will once things change back," Arielle murmured softly to him, looking up at the ceiling as she did so. Her eyes shifted over to the door that she had locked before letting out a long, heavy sigh, allowing her anxiousness and fear to roll out with it. It had been a long time since she felt so relaxed. There was still some worry bubbling underneath but it was more like a choppy ocean than the storm that had sat in there the last month. It was nice to not feel as though she was swept up in a tsunami, just waiting to finally be drowned.

"They'll sweep you right back up to the family wing to keep you close by. And then you'll have to decorate to solidify the fact that you have no plans going anywhere else." Her head tilted back to Giovanni as she sat his head pop up from over the wall. A warm smile coming back over her face as she looked at him. Arielle reached up and lightly curled one of his dark tussels of hair around her finger before dropping her hand back down to her side. "No, I haven't. But there is no point to in my case either. That room was never meant to be mine for long. Either I'll be sent back home or moved into my new husband's room."

Arielle turned in the bed until she was laying on her side, curling up as she did so. Her head lightly pressed against the pillow in the middle that was meant to separate them. It was definitely better this way. If someone somehow got in, then at least it would be clearer that nothing was happening... Not that their respective punishments would be much better after the fact. Arielle grabbed onto the blanket and pulled up and around herself. A little hum left her as she wondered if Gio would let her sleep the day away tomorrow. "Goodnight, Gio."
