Raquel walked back into the living room with some blankets and pillows. The couch was also a pull out bed, so she took off the seat cushion and out them aside before pulling out the bed. She began making the bed for him, making sure that it would be comfortable enough for him. Raquel stepped back after she was done. Her eyes were now roaming Zacky's arms, back and chest that were covered with tattoos, since he took off his shirt . She hated to admit this, but she misses his body and touching it, but she misses when he would hold her close to his strong body. Raquel bit her bottom lip and looked away when he faced her. "Hope the bed is comfortable enough for you. I, uh, I'll be in down the hall if you need me." She offered before walking to her bedroom.

"You're welcome sweetheart. I'm glad you like them." Brian said and leaned down to kiss her forehead before going back to the stove. "You have a busy schedule today?" He asked as he finished making the omelettes and putting them on separate plates. "You mind putting these on the table while I get the rest of the stuff out from the oven?" He asked her.

Cora shook her head, “Not too much, I don’t go back to work until tomorrow.” She took the plates and sat them on the table. Cora turned to look at Brian as he grabbed the rest of the food out of the oven, “Do you need help with anything else?” She asked, leaning against the counter.

Zacky watched as Raquel got the couch ready for him, once she was done, he turned to look at her, “Thank you.” He grabbed a pillow and laid down, “Alright.” Zacky watched Raquel wall down the hall to her bedroom, before laying his head on the pillow and relaxing. It had been months since he’d been able to have a decent night sleep, but he was hoping just being under the same roof as Raquel again would help. A yawn escaped his lips as he slowly closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Raquel woke up the next morning to the smell of food cooking and knew that it was Zacky that was cooking breakfast. She pulled the covers off of her and slipped out of the bed before going to the bathroom to quickly brush her teeth, wash her face and brush her hair into a bun. After finishing her business in the bathroom, Racquel didnt bother changing out of her silk tank and panties set, but put on her silk robe that matches it on top, not tying it. She walked to the kitchen, going straight to the cabinet to prepare her morning tea. "Morning. Did you sleep okay?" She greeted him.

"No, I hot it" Brian told her softly, grabbing the bacon and pancakes that were staying warm in the oven and set them on the table. He pulled a chair out for Cora, letting her sit before sitting down. "Hope it still tastes good." He smiled and began piling some pancakes and bacon onto his plate. "I miss this." He said softly.

Cora sat down in the chair, “I’m sure it will taste great, it always did before.” She started making her plate. Hearing Brian speak, Cora nibbled on her bottom lip gently, not entirely sure how she should respond. “I miss this too,” Cora said hesitantly, even though there had been rough times, Cora loved Brian.

Zacky had woken up early enough that he figured he could make breakfast for both of them. He smiled slightly when he heard footsteps coming into the kitchen, “Morning. I slept better than I have in months. Hope you don’t mind I made breakfast.” Zacky motioned to the food on the counter.

Raquel smiled and placed a quick kiss against Zacky's cheek. "Thank you, it smells great." She said, leaning against the counter. "I'm glad you were able to get some sleep. I can tell that you weren't getting any, from the bags under your eyes." Raquel softly said as she nibbled on her bottom lip. Although, the two of them weren't together, she still cared about him and deep down, she misses him. In fact, she had to keep herself from pressing her body against his so he could hold her of ask him to kiss her.

Brian smiled softly at Cora. He wanted her to forgive him and try to fix their relationship. Cora was the love of his life and he had wished that he known that before he started to heat on her. If that was the case, Brian wouldnt have done any of the hurtful things he had done to her. "I'm so soddy." He told her simply, but his tone was full with sincerity.

Cora at her food until she heard Brian say he was sorry. It was such a simple statement, but she could hear that he was sincere about it. She looked over at him, trying to think of the right thing to say. “Brian, I think if you’re really sorry. Maybe we can try this again, but starting all over,” Cora told him. She wasn’t just going to move back in and act like nothing had happened.

Zacky smiled, “Hopefully it tastes as good as it smells.” He laughed as he finished up the food. He nodded, “It’s been rough getting any sleep. I’ve been doing mostly work from the house so that kept me pretty busy.” Once the food was done, Zacky made them each a plate, “Enjoy.” He placed their plates on the table before getting himself a cup of coffee.

"Thanks" Raquel said when Zacky placed her plate in front of her. She took a few bites and waited for him to sit down. "That's not healthy for you, babe. You shouldnt be working that much." Raquel said, not catching herself when she called him babe, like she usually does. But she knew that he wasnt sleeping because of her. She knew he feels guilty for everything he had done to her, but she couldn't let him make himself sick because of her. "I know it's because of me that you are doing this to yourself. Yeah I'm glad that you finally see that you messed up and see how you lost a good woman, but I still care about you and your well being." She said reaching out to his cheek. "Your eyes are not as vibrant as I remember. They show how restless and unhealthy you are."

Brian looked at her and nodded, "I am, honestly and truthfully, sorry. I really didnt know what I had until you left me and took your stuff out of our home." He said and reached out to hold her hands in his. "I'd do anything to have you back and go back to where we were before I fucked up. We can definitely start all over and build back everything we lost, and we can go as slow as you want." He told her, wanting this second chance with her.

Cora knew that if they were going to try again, she needed to have a little more control. “No secrets, I’m not going to be in the dark anymore. We have to be able to communicate and be honest or else this is going to be pointless,” she felt better now that she was able to tell Brian what she needed. Feeling Brian hold both of her hands, Cora tried not to smile, “I think we can make it work this time...”

Zacky shrugged slightly as he picked at his food, “I can’t sleep so I work, it’s better than staring at the tv.” He noticed that she had called him babe, but he wasn’t going to draw attention to it. “Maybe now that we were able to talk I’ll get a little better. Just knowing that you don’t completely hate me,” Zacky said with a small smile. Feeling her hand on his cheek, Zacky leaned into her touch, “I’ll be alright.”

Raquel smiled when Zacky leaned into her touch. Her guard was lowering and she wasnt necessarily upset about it. She knew that she was still in love with him, but she was scared that he would chest on her again if she gave him another chance. Sighing, she leaned forward and pressed her lips against his in a soft kiss. "I miss you and I still love you." She admitted to him softly.

Brian nodded, "I promise, no more secrets. I will treat you better, the way you deserved to be treated. I'm not going to do anything thats6going to have me lose you again." He promised not only to her. But to himself.

Cora was just a little apprehensive, but she also had a feeling that Brian might have changed. She nodded, “I believe you, just don’t make me regret it...” Cora wasn’t going to make everything as easy this time around, Brian was going to have to prove himself. The first time, Cora had been a bit too eager, that wouldn’t be the case this time. “Thank you, for breakfast. It was nice,” Cora told him.

Zacky was surprised to feel Raquel’s lips against his. He didn’t have time to react before she spoke. Hearing that she missed him and still loved him, Zacky looked at her for a moment. “I love you. You have no idea how much I miss you,” Zacky said softly as he reached up to cup her face in his hands before kissing her softly.

Raquel kissed back, before resting her forehead against his. "I love you too Zacky. I guess it's really hard to hate you. I want us to be together again, but we need to start over and take our time. But that also doesn't mean I'm moving back home. I still think we need to live separately for a bit." She paused and looked into his beautiful green eyes, the same eyes she fell in love with. "If you're okay with that and promise that there will no longer be any secrets between us, and no more sleeping with the whores at your club, we can try us again."

"I won't. I don't want to lose you again. I know you're not going to make it easy for me, but I'm not going to let that nor my old ways ruin my chance of making you mine again." Brian said, pulling her close to him as his arms wrapped around her waist and his chin rest on the top of her head, knowing that she loved it when he did this to her. "Of course, maybe we can do this again soon." He said, hoping she would agree for another breakfast date.

As soon as Brian had his arms around her waist, Cora relaxed and let her head rest against his chest. She still wasn’t one hundred percent certain that they were going to work, but she was willing to try again. Everything with Brian had felt so right and comfortable. “We can definitely do this again, as long as you cook again,” Cora smiled slightly. She looked up at Brian, “What did you have planned for today?”

Zacky was listening to every word that came out of Raquel’s mouth. He was willing to do whatever it took to get her back. “We can go back and start over from square one and take as long as you need,” Zacky assured her, he wasn’t going to do anything to screw up again. He nodded as she spoke, “No more secrets and no more whores, I promise.”
