Giselle looked over at Daniel curiously, thought a little smile was still staying along her lips. It seemed she had picked the right person to be her guard if he thought some of the other guards bad. "Well it sounds like it was a good thing that I now have you as one of my personal guards then. Would you not agree?"

She folded her hands together before continuing on. "When are they allowing you onto the schedule?"

Daniel shrugged softly, "you are still in the castle most of the time, I doubt a few bad guards is a massive issue," he said lightly. He walked slowly, trying to to ogle her too much. "I think it won't be for a least a week, still have to prove myself as loyal enough to protect you personally," he said.

As he mentioned that it would be a week, Giselle gave him a small nod. A week wasn't horrible... she had been hoping to sneak out with Daniel sooner but she could wait a week. After all, Giselle had needed to wait much longer than that before. And, she supposed, there was plenty to be done in the castle during that time. There was always something...

"Yes, they will be sure to keep their eyes on you while you are proving yourself. Though I can assure you that your punishment will be mighty fierce if you are not loyal to me," Giselle glanced over at Daniel. "Perhaps I am being foolish, but you seem trustworthy to me. Though I am not the one you currently need to convince of that."

Daniel listened to her and nodded, "I am aware of that Princess, that's why I'm being careful," he said to her first statement. He paused and looked at her, "and how would you punish me?" he teased gently.

He took her hand lightly, and pulled her closer to him, after checking around for prying eyes.

Giselle looked to Daniel, an amused smile on her lips as he teased her about punishing him. Most took it much more seriously but it seemed that he wasn't too bothered by the idea. "I think I will keep that to myself."

As he took her hand and pulled her in closer, Giselle looked to him with surprise. Though she didn't pull away, instead holding onto his hand gently back. "And this is being careful?" She said quietly.

Daniel smiled slyly, "of course Princess, no one is around," he said lightly. He took stepped back, "so what does a princess do around here for fun?" he asked lightly.

It was odd for Daniel to be bored, normally he spent most of his time, simply trying to survive, having a place to stay tonight, without begging was a new feeling to him.

"Fair enough, I suppose," Giselle said as she glanced down the hallway, seeing that he was correct about no one being nearby. Once he released her hand, she folded them back in front of her. "For fun?" She let out a small hum. "There is plenty to do in the castle... though you could say there was a reason you found me by myself in the city."

Daniel nodded gently, "well, I suppose that is true enough," he said. He stepped back, taking a more professional and guarding stance. "Would you do the the pleasure, of allowing me to follow you around this afternoon?" he asked softly. "I promise, you won't even notice me, unless you want to," he said.

Giselle looked at Daniel curiously as he asked to follow her around for the afternoon. "Why would you want to do that?" Giselle asked him, her head tilting a bit to the side as she did. "I will just be completing some of my duties and going to a dance lesson. I am afraid it won't be all that interesting."

Daniel shrugged, "bored to be honest, I'm not officially working yet, and have nothing to do," he said lightly. "Plus it'll let me see what rooms you spend time in, so i can study them," he said lightly. It wasn't the truth, he just wanted to be close to her.

"Well, in that case, then you are welcomed to join me for the day." Giselle told him. In truth, it might be nice having Daniel around. She found the man rather interesting. "I am going to my dance lessons first. Just follow me then." The princess told him before turning on her the tips of her feet and heading down the hall.

Daniel smiled brightly, "well thank you," he said, before moving to follow her to her dance lesson. He kept his eyes scanning around the castle as they walked. He found his eyes slowly drifting over her figure occassionally.

They walked down the hallway for some time until Giselle stopped at the ballroom. She headed inside and her teacher, Lady Lillian was already waiting for her. The lady bowed to Giselle before speaking. "Today, I will be teaching you a new dance that has been emerging. It will be important for you to know before Prince Reynaldo arrives."

(My state started secure in place so I believe I'll be on more often as well)

Daniel followed her in silently, he smiled and bowed to the teacher. He looked around the ballroom, "if she needs a dance partner, I am here, if not I'll just watch from over there," he said motioning towards one of the seats.

The dance teacher lifted her head up to look at the guard that had came into the room with the princess. "Do you know how to dance?" She asked him. "Today, we are going to learn the Allemande."

Daniel smiled softly as the teacher spoke to him, "I do know how to dance, in so far as a sword fight is sometimes described as a dance of blades," he said lightly. He stepped back, "but I am a quick study, so I just thought I'd offer, if the need arises," he added.

Lady Lillian was quiet for a moment before she looked at the princess. The lady then stepped back and motioned for the guard to join the two of them. "Then please, come join us."

Giselle glanced back at Daniel, an amused smile on her face.

Daniel nodded softly and moved over to the pair of them. He stood watching the instructor, waiting for her guidance. He wasn't lying, he was quick on his feet, and quite elegant, when he needed to be. He reached out offering the Princess his hand, as a dance partner.

As Daniel offered his hand, Giselle laid hers on top of his gently. The dance instructor then proceeds to give the two of them the basics of the dance, wanting them to know where they move their feet before anything else. Although this dance was unfamiliar to the princess, she was skilled in dance in general. She was graceful and easy to lead.

Daniel smiled brightly, and bowed as she took his hand. He listened to the instructions, and followed along. He was slightly slower than Giselle to pick up the feet movements, but eventually was moving, and leading the dance around the ballroom. He led her away from the instructor slightly, "so this is fun," he said gently.
