Once Misa got the ramen finished, she decided to do the rest of the kimchi too, just so Shinwoo wouldn’t injure himself further.

He sighed when his mom called, ‘yes mom I’m okay. No mom I haven’t provoked him. I lov...’ she ended the call before he finished saying I love you. He walked back into the kitchen a few minutes later, ‘it smells delicious.’

“I’m just about done.” Misa smiled as she finished the rest of the kimchi up. “Are you okay? You look bothered..”

‘Aniya. I’m not bothered Misa. My hand hurts slightly but I’ll be okay. I should go phone shopping soon and replace that piece of junk iPhone 4.’

Misa nodded. “I heard there’s a deal on phones in Busan, that’s where I got my iPhone 10.” She said.

‘Thanks Misa,’ he told her before sighing when he saw the blood leaking through the new bandage.

Misa noticed it to, but didn’t say anything since she knew it would be pointless and Shinwoo wouldn’t agree to go to the hospital.

He groaned, ‘it’s going to keep reopening but I can’t go to a hospital. My parents would...never mind. Dinner smells great,’ he hoped she wouldn’t ask about his parents, that she didn’t wouldn’t catch that.

“Listen, my cousin is a nurse and she could come stitch that up properly, without you having to go to the hospital, if you want to..” Misa said.

‘She wouldn’t tell anybody would she? She can come and help. I would like that but she can’t tell anybody.’

“She won’t.” Misa said. “I don’t have my phone...um...can I use your house phone?” She asked, remembering her step brother and his friends threw her phone away with her other things.

‘Yeah it’s in the same hallway you walked down to get here. Thankyou Misa.’

“It seems I also need to get a new phone...whoever did this to me must have trashed my phone, but I’ll be right back.” Misa said and went down the hallway to call her cousin.

He sighed and sat down in a chair at the dining room table. He hoped Misa’s cousin wouldn’t tell. He really hoped she didn’t.

Misa came back a few minutes later. “She’ll be here shortly.” She told him as she sat down to eat.

He nodded, ‘thankyou.’ Blood soaked the bandages again. He grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his hand before he did the same.

About forty five minutes later, there was a knock at the front door. “That’s probably my cousin.” Misa said as she got up and went to get the door.

Shinwoo sat there and chewed on his bottom lip as Misa went to go see if her cousin was at the front door.

Misa Came back s moment later with her cousin. “This is my cousin, Hani.” Misa said as she introduced her cousin to Shinwoo.

“Misa told me you hurt your hand?” Hani asked as she sat beside him.

‘Yeah I fell and sliced my palm open on my cracked phone screen. I tried stitching it up myself a few times because I usually do. I hate hospitals, I can’t go there.’
