Syverson's gaze darkened as he watched Rowen retreat from the bed. He sat up against the headboard, his eyes following her as she looked over the menu. He wondered if he should stand and take her, all over again. Setting his hand over his cock, Sy palmed himself. He didn't bother to try and hide what he was doing as she turned to ask him if he was hungry. "Get one of those charcuterie boards brought up," he replied after a moment of consideration. An assortment of finger foods seemed like the best option right now because he knew that he wasn't going to be sleeping much at all tonight.

When Rowen headed into the bathroom without so much as telling him what she was doing, Syverson let out a low growl. The thought annoyed him but he decided that he would correct her only when she reappeared. Opening his mouth to say something, Sy's words were cut off by the sound of the knock at the door.

Rowen brought the food over to him and he sat up, the blankets covering his lap. "Tell me. Do you think you should leave the room without making sure that I don't need anything?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. A challenge, one that Syverson thought she would have passed if you had asked him a few minutes ago. Now? He wasn't so sure.

Rowen swallowed, quietly placing the tray of food down on the table near the bed. She glanced towards Syverson, doing her best to swallow her fear. It was clear that he was irritated, just another thing Rowen had done to upset him. Chewing on the inside of her cheek, she stepped over to the bed, keeping her gaze down. It was clear she didn't know much about pleasing an alpha, especially one as traditional and set in his ways as Syverson.

The young pup had never watched her mother wait on her father hand and foot. Had never noticed her make sure it was okay with him before she left a room. If her father ever needed something, he got it himself. While Rowen felt the urge to care for Syverson, she definitely hadn't thought of checking with him before going to the bathroom.

Parting her lips, wondering if speaking was even the right thing to do. Instead, she only whimpered. "I didn't think-" as the words left her mouth, she knew they weren't the right ones she should offer up. Shutting her mouth, she barely raised her gaze to his before apologizing, "I-I'm sorry, I-I have a lot to learn..." She hoped that would suffice in keeping him calm, admitting her own shortcomings.

Syverson was doing his best to remain calm, not to completely lash out at Rowen. He knew omegas were delicate creatures and if he scared her too much, she would be of no use to him. An omega who could obey, who wasn't able to do what was expected of her... Syverson didn't think he would be able to find another omega who had affected him as severely as Rowen had. He would return to his normal life with his beta by his side. There would be pups but not particularly what he thought of when he considered having pups. He couldn't think of a single alpha who wanted a beta to mother their pups.

Her first few words made Sy's brow raise before she fell silent. The apology that left her lips was more along the lines of what she should have said in the first place. "Did you not have an omega mother?" He asked. Most omegas he had run across were raised by omega mothers, had learned from them everything they could ever need to know on how to serve an alpha properly.

Syverson reached over to the tray of food and grabbed a piece of the meat and cheese from the charcuterie board before popping them into his mouth. "Or do I need to find an omega to help you? Hm?"

Rowen frowned when he brought up her mother. If Syverson ever met her mother, she would suspect he wouldn't find her to be what an omega should be. Same for her father. Her father was an alpha, but she had never seen him act anything like this man. Rowen had been raised to be her own person, not to obey without question. "My mother's an omega," Rowen nodded, climbing onto the bed, crawling over Syverson's legs as she came to curl up by his side.

"My father's an alpha too, but," she looked up at him, her eyes tracing over his strong jaw. "He's progressive," she whispered, almost ashamed to say it in front of Syverson. She wasn't ashamed of holding progressive ideals, but it was obvious hearing something like that wouldn't make Sy happy. Curling into his side, she hid her face, afraid he'd be upset that she didn't know anything about being omega. All she had heard were the stories, about alphas who believed omegas were second class citizens, slaves, how alphas like Syverson demanded to be obeyed. She felt the urge to make him happy, but she didn't know how. It sickened her, to think of how she had grown up, how her parents did want a life like this for her.

She could leave if she wanted to, she could fight against him and try to escape ...but she didn't want to. Her arm slinked around his waist and she continued to hide her face in his side, embarrassed, afraid he'd lash out at her. If he had been at that bar specifically looking for an omega tonight, she would bet he was disappointed in what he found. "I'm trying," she whispered.

Syverson was trying to wrap his head around the idea that Rowen had grown up with an omega mother. How was she so clueless that she hardly knew how to please him? Her next words were all it took to clue Syverson into what he needed to know. Her father had been progressive and the thought alone was enough to churn his stomach. Why would an alpha act like that? Why would they want their omega to go off into the world? Syverson knew the sort of alphas that were out there, that even if Rowen was claimed that things could go wrong if he wasn't with her. To put his omega in that position was neglectful to him. There was no other way to look at it and the thought made Syverson growl, looking away from her as his face scrunched.

Her fear was tainting her scent and Syverson hated it. The scent overwhelmed the lavender that usually calmed him. Sy huffed as his arm slid around her waist, his grip albeit a bit too tight as he held her to his chest. "I know you are," Sy bit out, sighing as he reached up to run his fingers through her hair. Syverson began a low purr, knowing the action would help to calm Rowen. He wasn't used to attempting to calm someone but she was his. He needed to care for her.

"I'll talk to one of my sergeants. I'll have his omega spend some time with you," Syverson murmured as he pressed a kiss to her forehead. It was meant to help guide her in the proper direction, whether her parents liked it or not.

Rowen couldn't help but be terrified. There was the fear of upsetting him, finding out about what kind of horrors he was really capable of and then there was her family. How would her father react when she came home with Syverson's bite on her. How would it upset her mother? Her other omega friends? They'd be so disappointed in her for going against their beliefs... Rowen's breath caught in the back of her throat when he pulled her tight against him, but the low purr he offered her was enough to soothe her worries.

Her omega wanted her to believe this man would take care of her. Her leg ran up his as she sunk against him, closing her eyes as she nuzzled into his chest. It was mind-blowing to her how instinct could take over. How her omega was forcing her to go against how she had been raised, how everything she had learned told her to try to get away from him, to run, to escape. But her omega wouldn't let her. She was infatuated by his scent.

Her eyes flickered up to his, glancing at him from underneath her lashes. The only omegas she had ever spent time with were others like her. Her parents had been sure to make sure that she was surrounded by others who shared their same beliefs. Was she ready to put her whole life on hold? Everything she had ever wanted to do, everything she was working towards? Her education... Now it seemed like not even his purr could calm her nerves. Ro was beginning to wonder how she could get away from this man.

"Wouldn't it be easier for you to...just find an omega who already knew how ...to make you happy?" Rowen swallowed thickly, afraid her question would sound like she didn't want him.

Syverson had been calm for the most part, with Rowen curled up in his lap. He'd been quiet, taking a few bites of their snack while he debated putting on the television. He had no clue what he wanted to watch but he was sure that they both needed a bit of a distraction at the moment. This was new territory for both of them. Syverson could acknowledge that. He was trying to respect that, right up until that question left Rowen's lips. His eyes narrowed, his grip tightening on her waist. "Is there something else you want to say, omega?" He asked, looking down at her. His purr fell silent, his fingers digging into her hips.

"Did you mean to say you want me to find someone else? An omega who already knows how to please me, hm?" Syverson prompted her in a low voice. A little smirk settled on his face as he glared down at her. As happy as he may have appeared, it would only take a moment to consider that Syverson's anger was spiking.

"Is that what you really want, 'mega?" Syverson growled as he reached up, ripping the belt from Rowen's waist. The robe fell open, exposing her body to him as he forced her to face him. "You want me to go find another omega, who can serve me properly?" Syverson countered. He snarled, his other hand wrapping around her throat. Syverson launched forward, pinning her beneath him.

"You belong to me. You're not going anywhere," Syverson spat the words, reaching between their bodies to wrap his fingers around his cock. He groaned at the contact, settling between her thighs. "You're. Mine."

"That's not what I-," Rowen gasped, flinching away in fear as he ripped the belt from around her waist. It was hard to force herself to speak, knowing the moment she watched his gaze darken that she had made a mistake. The same instant her robe fell open, she felt his large hand wrap around her throat, the slight pressure he placed on her enough to cause her to whimper. With each word he put her down, reminding her that she was the problem. She couldn't please him.

Rowen couldn't help the scream that was ripped from her throat when Syverson sprang forward, knocking her down on the bed, pinning her place. Her whole body was trembling, fear evident in her scent as it hung around the room. It mixed with the bitter taste of his and she knew she had messed up. The young girl was finding herself far to lost in her own fear to try and reach up and grab for him, to soothe him. "I-I didn't mean, ..." She sniffled, tears burning her eyes when she glanced down, seeing his hand wrapping around his cock as he mounted her. "I d-don't want to go a-anywhere," she cried, finally finding the courage to look up at him, her hands shooting to her throat, trying to peel his fingers away. "Alpha, pl-please," she begged, her voice shaking as she tried to speak clearly. "I-I j-just don't want to be a problem, th-thats all I meant," she tried to assure him, giving up on trying to rip his hand from her throat.

Her fingers slid down his arm, gasping as she felt his grip tightening. "St-stop," she gasped, but found her hips were bucking up against him.

"You don't tell me to stop," Syverson demanded as his free hand moved to her inner thigh. Sy forced Rowen's thighs apart, guiding the tip of his cock to her pussy. "I know what you want. What you need. I'm your alpha. Understand?" He spat the words as he sank into her heat. Groaning, Syverson's grip loosened on her throat. "I'll fuck you until you understand. Doesn't matter to me," he ground out, slowly pulling out of her. Syverson's first few thrusts were slow and deliberate, He punctuated each word that he spoke with a thrust, his eyes locking with hers.

Syverson's hand didn't move from Rowen's throat as his movements became harsher. His other hand held her hip in place, refusing to let her move the tiniest bit as Syverson fucked her. "Isn't this what you want?" He demanded, raising an eyebrow. "Want an alpha to take care of you. All of your needs," Syverson grunted, burying his face into her neck. It was only then that his hand moved from around her neck, moving to hold her other hip. He brought her hips to meet his, forcing her body to respond to him whether she wanted to or not at this point.

Rowen couldn't help the sob that was ripped from her throat or as the tears she tried so hard to hold back began to stream down her face. His scent smelled so bad, so sour... His words weren't necessarily so harsh, but the tone his voice carried... It sent fear running through Rowen, all she could do was sob and shake, barely even able to bed him to be more gentle. His fingertips bruised her thighs, his thrusts becoming rougher and rougher with each one.

His hand around her throat forced her head still, and even if she wanted to try and squirm away, she knew the hand on her hip wasn't going to let her go anywhere. "A-Alpha," she gasped, her eyes shutting tightly as tears burned her face. Only then, did his hand slide from her throat, his head going to nuzzle in the crook of her neck as he fucked her into the mattress.

All she could do was submit to him. Her trembling arms wrapped around his torso as she was held to him. "Y-Yes, I w-want you to take care of me," she sobbed, terrifying to say anything else. Worried anything else that left her lips would only serve to upset him further. Now it was clear to her the situation she found herself in. Rowen didn't doubt that Syverson would want to control every little aspect of her life, that as long as she was with him, all that mattered was him.

"THat's what I thought," Syverson spat the words as she let out a sob, not the least bit phased by her fear. It was only right that Rowen be so afraid because she had gone against him and that wasn't something that was going to stand with him. It was going to be better for everyone involved in Rowen learned that earlier rather than later. Nipping at her bond mark, Sy wasn't shy as he fucked her into the mattress beneath them.

"Feels good, doesn't it? Shows you what your place is," Syverson growled at her, biting at any piece of skin that he could reach. Syverson wasn't worried about making this last, he had a month's leave before he even had to consider leaving again. In the meantime, Syverson could figure out the rest. All he knew was that Rowen was his and she damned well better used to it.

Syverson pulled away from her without any warning. His hand dropped to his cock as he studied her twitching form. "Present for me, omega," he demanded, his voice low as he tugged his bottom lip between his teeth.

Rowen could barely move, terrified that any movement she made would be seen as an insult to him. Staring down at the mattress, tears trailing down her face, his words resonated in her mind. This was her place? Swallowing her fear, she did her best to pull herself up, to obey every command he gave her.
Relief washed over her when the next morning came and Rowen had all the excuses she needed to get away from him. Not like any of them really mattered, Syverson had his own things he needed to tend to. After giving him her phone number, he assured her that he would be in touch, before dropping her back off at her home. She could feel his stare watching her as she disappeared into her home.

"THERE YOU ARE!" Her mother gasped, running from the kitchen to scoop the little pup into her arms. Instantly, her mother's face wrinkled up from Syverson's scent, and before she even thought to ask, her mother was pulling at her shirt, inspecting the bites all over her shoulders. "Oh, honey, no... What is your father going to say?" Tears welled in her mom's eyes. Rowen couldn't think back to any time where she remembered seeing a mark on her mother.

"M-Mom, I have to get ready for work..." Rowen countered, her voice trembling as she pushed away from her mother, disappearing up the stairs.
Arriving at the little bar and grill Rowen served at during the evenings, she felt her phone buzzing in her skirt pocket. She was required to wear black tights, heels and a white button up with her black pleated skirt. A bowtie even adorned her neck. Pulling her phone from her pocket, she almost dropped it, seeing missed calls from Syverson and a text message.

    Where are you??

Work...? Is everything okay? she texted back, her hands trembling. Unknown to her that Syverson had ways of getting her location tracked. She slid her phone back into her pocket, feeling a wave of nausea sweep over her as she entered the kitchens. "There you are. You're late!" Her boss sighed, before shoving two pitchers of beer into her hands. "Table 6 needs refills, go!"

She had barely even been able to take a second to steady her breath. Whining, she swallowed around the lump in her throat, nervously wondering if all of the calls she had missed were from Syverson. She didn't know if she could take another night like the one she has just endured.

Dragging herself to table six, she forced a smile on her face as she met the table of men. At least two of them were definitely alphas. Their smell... "Did we order pitchers, boys?" Rowen gave them a brilliant smile, before setting the pitchers down on the table.

Syverson's eyes were glued to Rowen as she retreated into her home. He didn't like the idea of her leaving his sight but everything had to get into order before he brought her to his house. That was just the reality of the situation, whether he wanted to accept that or not didn't particularly matter at all. Syverson knew that Rowen was his, that she belonged to him. There was no getting around the reality that his beta was no longer important in his life. He didn't know how he was going to settle this all but it would be done, the sooner the better.

Pulling away from the curb only once Sy watched Rowen head into the house. Syverson reached up, rubbing his cheek before heading home. When he stepped through the threshold of the house, Sy didn't bother trying to hide Rowen's scent that blanketed his own. His beta's face scrunched but a single look from Sy had been all it took to silence whatever comment that she had been about to make.

Syverson headed into the bathroom where he took a quick shower to freshen up before he climbed into the bed, falling fast asleep.
Sending a text the first time, Syverson's anger only seemed to escalate the longer that Rowen hadn't answered him. His face fell into a mask of anger, as his fingers typed out the fourth text message he'd sent to Rowen. Still, no response. Syverson called her, three times back to back without getting so much as a single response from her.

Syverson started pacing back and forth, as he waited for the information to come through from his friend. What Rowen didn't know really wasn't her fault at all. Syverson was military, of course he had access to technology that could track her location at any given time. His phone buzzed and his head snapped down, reading over the address that he had been given. Already out the door by the time Rowen had answered him, he didn't bother to even read the message or response.

Pulling up outside of her work, Syverson stormed into the restaurant. His face a mask of fury when he spotted Rowen speaking to a table of men. His eyes narrowed as he stalked toward her. "What the fuck do ya think you're doing?" Syverson's voice cut through the bar, not so much as batting an eye when everyone seemingly turned to stare at the situation that was developing.

Rowen had one hand planted on the table, leaning forward slightly to better hear the mans order when Syverson came storming up behind her. She had a bright smile on, maybe even batting some eyelashes, doing her best to rake in a tip by the time the men would be leaving.

Her blood ran cold when she heard Syverson's voice booming through the dining room. Quickly straightening her posture, she held her bill book tightly against her stomach, turning slightly to look up at him. The color had ran from her face, her eyes wide as she looked up at him.

"What do you mean what am I-" she looked back to the table of men, their eyes wide as they looked up at Syverson.

"Is there a problem?" One of the alphas began to speak up, and Rowen wished she could've just disappeared. That was the last thing she needed, an alpha trying to step in.

"No, no, no problem. I'll put your order in and come back, okay?" She quickly blurted out to the alpha, her face turning pink as her hand went to Syverson's chest. She tried to push him away from the table. The restaurant had gone silent and by now, the commotion already had her bosses attention to. Turning back to Syverson, Rowen was mortified, completely embarrassed. "I'm working!" She did her best to put her foot down, still her voice hushed into a whisper. "Why are you here?" She whimpered, trying to drag him away from the table.

In public, Syverson was trying to at least maintain some form of his control but then the other alpha spoke up. His eyes slid to the other alpha and he didn't respond at all when Rowen's hand settled on his chest. He snarled, his hands balling into tight fists. "Yeah, the problem is my omega wasn't answering me because she was too busy serving you," he spat, raising one hand to shove Rowen's hand off of him. Syverson stepped to the side, moving so there was nothing between him and the offending alpha.

A smile broke out on Syverson's as the alpha rose to his feet. His two friends joined him and Syverson couldn't help the dry laugh that sounded from his lips. "You might want to rethink what you're doing," Sy spoke, his voice coming out in a deadly growl. They didn't know who he was, what he was capable of.

One of the alpha's friends stepped forward to take a swing and it was like Syverson had become like an animal. Blocking the punch, Sy brought his elbow down on the man's arm before stepping forward, twisting to take on the other two. It seemed like just as quickly as the fight had started, it was over with Syverson panting, staring down at the three men in various states of groaning and contorting on the floor.

Syverson turned toward Rowen, fixing her with a hard glare. "We're leaving. Let's go. Now," he barked, stepping over the men and holding his hand out to her expectantly.

Rowen was completely paralyzed as she watched Syverson take on three alphas. At first, she thought he was crazy. She was hanging onto a little sliver of hope that one of these men would cut him down to size, but the fight was over before it even began. The men, though they were built similarly to Syverson, didn't even stand a chance. Tears burnt her eyes and her face felt like it was burning from the embarrassment, but when Syverson held his hand out to her, she knew better than to fight him.

Even in the mix of all of the commotion, even with how terrified she was, her inner omega couldn't help but be impressed. Her alpha had just came out unscathed from a three versus one... If she wasn't so concerned that his anger would be directed at her next, she might've swooned over him right then.

Momentarily, Rowen glanced back towards the kitchen, seeing her boss standing in the doorway with a dumbfounded look. She didn't expect to work here any longer after this. Whimpering, she reached out and took Syverson's hand, keeping her head down as he pulled her out of the restaurant. The other wait staff and patrons were all completely silent as they watched them leave.

Once they were outside, the doors to the establishment slamming shut behind Rowen, she dared to look up at her alpha. "I-I was just working, why...why did you do that? Oh god, I'm probably fired..." Her hands shot to her face, covering her eyes as she tried to wipe away the tears. Instantly regretting opening her mouth, she knew Syverson wouldn't care. It wasn't his problem.

Syverson's shoulders relaxed just barely when Rowen reached forward to take his hand. He was partially sated only because Rowen had done what she was told, without Syverson having to vocally demand she give him her hand. It was smart on her part not to push her luck at the moment because he knew the moment that he had her alone, she would suffer. If she thought last night had been bad, that was nothing compared to the hell that was going to be unleashed on her now.

When Rowen broke the silence, Syverson turned to level her with a hard glare. "You don't need to work, do you understand me? I will care for you," he growled, stepping toward her. "That's all you need to know," he declared lowly. "And you sure as hell don't need to be working a job where you can flirt with alphas. Where they can look at you and they can think that they might have a chance to be with you. Because no one is going to take you from me, sweet omega. It's your own fault if you thought that was a possibility. Not mine," Syverson spoke bitterly, dragging her toward his car.

Opening the passenger door for her, Syverson all but threw her inside before moving around to the driver's seat that he was quick to climb into. Sy sped off, his leg bouncing as he drove toward the same hotel that he'd been with her the night before. "I would have thought it was clear. Working somewhere that alphas will stare at you all day? No, that doesn't work for me. If I'm not happy, omega, then you won't be happy."

Rowen pushed herself up against the door, whimpering as she watched his leg bounce. He was beyond pissed off, she could smell it. Even though he spoke, telling her exactly what she had done that pissed him off, Rowen still couldn't wrap her mind around it. What had she done to put herself in this situation? Swallowing thickly, Rowen looked up at Syverson and tried to blink away the tears. "I... I'm sorry," she whimpered though she wasn't entirely sure what she was apologizing for.

All she knew was she had pissed him off and she was in trouble. "Pl-please don't be mad at me, I didn't m-mean to miss your calls, I'm s-so sorry," she was practically begging him, feeling like his scent was choking her. She looked up at the same hotel from the night before and for a moment, she wondered why he didn't take her to his home...

Glancing back at him, she knew she was going to be in danger the moment she was alone with him in one of those rooms. "Alpha, please," she whimpered, wishing she could try to calm him down. She was frozen in place, the mere thought of moving closer to him and trying to nuzzle his neck petrifying her. His anger was pouring off of him in waves, the intense emotion spoiling his scent.

Syverson didn't even acknowledge when Rowen tried to beg him for some sort of forgiveness. He didn't so much as glance in her direction, even as he climbed out of the car at the hotel. He stalked around to the other side, yanking Rowen's door open before he leaned in to grab her arm. Sy dragged her out of the car before leading her into the hotel by her elbow. "Stop. Talking," Syverson growled at her, sneering when it looked like Rowen wanted to say something.

He shook his head before heading up to the front desk. Syverson was basically silent as he checked in before turning back toward Rowen. "Upstairs. Let's go," he muttered, leading Rowen into the elevator. The silence in the elevator was deafening as he stared at the little window at the top that told them what floor they were on. Once they stopped and the doors opened, Syverson shoved Rowen out in front of him. "318," he barked the room number at her, watching her as they moved to the room.

Once they were finally inside, Syverson slammed the door shut. He locked it, glaring at the door for several minutes before he turned around to face Rowen. "Now. You want to explain to me what was so damned important that you thought you could ignore me? I gave you time to respond. I was trying to be a nice alpha and yet, you give me no damned choice. You realize that? This is your fault. Not mine."

Rowen jumped when he slammed the door, quickly backing up until she felt the backs of her legs hit the bed frame. She stared at his back, her breath caught in the back of her throat. Just glaring at the door, Rowen wanted to step up to him, to reach out, to do anything that might help calm him down. "I... I didn't mean to ignore you," she whimpered, frozen in place once he finally turned around, his attention completely on her now.

Her mouth opened and closed frantically as she tried to think of what excuse to give him, but really, she didn't have one. She just hadn't looked at her phone until she had gotten to work. "N-Nothing was more important, I-I didn't know, my phone was silent-" her whole body was shaking as she looked up at him. "It... It's my fault," she agreed, forcing herself to step forward. Rowen reached up to place her hands on his chest once she was standing directly in front of him. "I'm sorry, so sorry. It'll never happen again," she promised him, nuzzling her head against his shoulder. Her best attempt at trying to calm him.

His body felt like a stone. Syverson was so tense, even as she stepped to her tiptoes to place gentle kisses along his jaw, he felt so stiff. "Pl-Please, Alpha, don't be t-too mad at me," she begged, soft whispers against his ear.
