Emery couldn't help the smile on her face, she nuzzled closer to him. "Are you ready for bed?" She questioned him, knowing that she wouldn't pay much attention to the tv. But if they were going to get any sleep then they should probably do so.

Mason smiled and nodded, "yeah bed sounds lovely, we do have a long day tomorrow," he said. He pulled her closer, "sleep here, or your room?" he asked

"We have more room here." She told him, "but either is fine for me." She neither of them could compare to his bed. The size and comfort was amazing, though he was a cuddlier. And she'd be on top of him before morning anyways.

Mason nodded, "well here works," he said gently. He kissed her neck, "man I love having you close," he said softly.

Peyton let out a soft groan as he kissed her neck. "Mm, I know what you mean." She told him, "it's going to hard sleeping alone." She murmured, letting her eyes drop close.

Mason chuckled, "I know what you mean, it was hard to get used to it after I loss Jess," he said gently. He kissed her cheek.

Emery frowned knowing she'd have to be careful with her words as certain things would trigger uncomfortable memories for him. "I'm sorry." She told him knowing she was going to keep putting her foot in her mouth.

Mason smiled softly, "it's fine, honestly," he said softly. "I've dealt with that, or at least I'm dealing" he commented.

Emery frowned before placing a kiss to his chest. "But that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt you when you think about it." She told him, knowing that she still felt stress every time someone mentioned the word doctor. Certain traumatic experiences stayed with you forever.

Mason nodded softly and pulled her close, "yeah, but don't feel bad about making me think of her, I love how somethings you do, remind me of her," he said softly. He kissed her, "and don't ever think I expect you to be her," he said

Emery smiled at him, "Of course I don't think you want me to be her." She told him. They were new and things that attracted him to Jessi was what he found in Emery. She knew that, people's taste didn't change. They just looked for what they thought they wanted.

Emery looked up at him, "of course, I'm terrified." She told him, knowing that tomorrow the stitches would come out, and they'd be running a final test to make sure the cancer hadn't come back. And then the next visit wouldn't be for six months.

Mason nodded, "softly, well I'll be there regardless of what happens," he said softly. He kissed her cheek, "you don't have to do this alone anymore," he added

Emery looked up at him, "I don't know what to say." She told him truthful. He'd already lost someone to cancer did he really want to go through that with her. Burying her face in his chest she held him closer, "thank you." She knew if it came down to her having cancer again she'd never let him stay. She couldn't let him go through it again.

Mason looked at her, "your welcome," he said softly. He held her close, and kissed her neck, "now get some rest, you need to be ready for good news tomorrow," he said.

Emery smiled hearing his words doing her best to hope that he was right. Good news was the hope, but she knew the changes of it coming back was projected at seventy percent. She slowly slipped to sleep, her knowing that whatever tomorrow held she'd have Mason to keep her company.

Mason smiled and relaxed back, he was praying for her sake, that she would be fine.

Peyton yawn as she rolled over and grabbed her phone. Quickly turning the alarm off. A soft giggle left her lips as Mason pulled her back into his grasp. "Hey sleepy head," she greeted him. "We've got to get up and get ready." She told him. Knowing that she was still a bit tired, he'd wore her out the last two nights. And she was now looking forward to the lazy day.

Mason smiled and nodded, "yeah I guess we do," he said softly. He kissed her neck, "but I so do love cuddling with you," he said gently.
