Mason kissed her and shifted, "come on then," he said lightly. He sat up, "the sooner we move, the sooner the wait will be over," he said.

Emery let out a yawn as she followed his lead in sitting up. "Did you need to stop by your house before we went?" She asked him, knowing the decision to stay over night was made on a whim.

Mason smiled gently "no I'm easy, just need a shower, and stop by mine when we get back," he said softly.

Peyton smiled at him, "well while you shower I'll get ready, did you want to get breakfast on the way or order something in?" She asked knowing that once breakfast was over they'd have to head out.

Mason looked at her, "no we can get something on the way," he said softly. He moved into the bathroom, turning the water on. He stripped off and stretched.

Peyton nodded before smiling at him, "okay." She watched him as he headed to go shower, she moved to her room to go change.

Mason finished his shower, and then came back out seeing her. "Wow, you look good," he said softly. He moved closer, "you all set to go?" he asked

"Thank you." She told him smiling as she tucked her phone into her pocket. "Yer sir." She told him softly knowing that it was best to get this show on the road.

Mason smiled at her, "okay, so you drive up, and I'll drive back?" he said, wanting to confirm she was okay with driving this morning.

"Yup that's the plan," she told him, "did you want to take my car?" She asked having planned to do so before he'd agreed to go. But now she wasn't sure if he'd feel comfortable letting her drive his. "And where did you want to stop and get breakfast?" She asked as she grabbed her bag.

Mason watched her, "yeah your car works, and we can stop wherever you want," he said lightly. He moved closer and hugged her lightly, "everything will be fine," he said.

Emery was trying to keep her mind off the appointment, but knew it was pointless. The stress was eating away at her. "I know it is." She smiled up at him, before placing a soft kiss to his lips. "Thank you for doing this with me." She told him, before moving to grab her keys. "I'm good with pretty much anything, did you want to just eat on the go?"

Mason nodded, "anytime Emery," he said softly. He headed outside to her car, "yeah that sounds fine," he said. He looked at her, "So plans on how you want to celebrate?" he asked.

Emery smiled at him shaking her head. "I don't even want to think about that right now." She told him truthfully slipping into the driver's seat before reaching over and moving her back pack to the back seat allowing him room to sit. Her car was far from clean but it wasn't littered with trash it was just forgotten clothing she'd taken off an just thrown in the back seat. "I don't want to jinx anything." She told him truthfully. Knowing that today could bring news she didn't want to hear. Pulling the car onto the road she smiled as she started to drive to the closest place that offered drive thru service.

Mason smiled and nodded, "fair enough," he said. He climbed into the car, and sat quietly while she drove. He sensed she wanted some space to think for herself right now

Emery pulled out of the drive thru, there food sitting between them on the console of her car. She wasn't big on eating a driving but she'd gotten something that wouldn't make a huge mess. So she munched on her sausage and biscuit as she let town. Moving onto the freeway to get to her doctor's appointment.

Mason smiled softly and looked out the window, "It's a nice day today," he said softly. He wanted to offer up a subject to discuss if she wished too.

Smiling she briefly looked over at him, "yeah it sucks we'll be coped up most of the day." She now felt bad for dragging him along to her appointment.

Mason smiled softly, "well maybe after your appointment is done you can show me around the city?" he suggested.
