A smile pulled at her lips as she laid there, it did feel a bit weird to start the night of with one guy but end it with another. She knew that it was one for the books, but nothing happened, yet. So it wasn't like she was whoring herself out to people. "I honestly can't think of anything to ask." She told him, watching as he played with her hair. She just felt herself melt into him. Knowing that all her worries seemed to fade away. She'd pick a better time to ask question, because right now she was just enjoying being in his arms.

Mason relaxed back, holding onto her. He closed his eyes, as he breathed her in. He had to admit it was nice to hold a woman again. His hold on her tightened slightly as he hugged her. His hand snaking its way down her back. Mason was content to just lay there as long as she needed, or wanted, he had nowhere else to be. He knew if work asked why he arrived so tired, he just had to tell them it was a rough one, and he was missing Jessie, and they would leave him alone.

Mason however hated to use that excuse, his drinking and the mess in the bedroom, wasn't her fault. It was just Mason's own weakness, his short cummings. Jessie would have never let him use alcohol to get through life, or let him get away with not tidying up. The thoughts saddened him slightly, but he knew that Jessie would make an exception of him using the excuse, because he was here, making someone's life better, and helping them out.

Emery let her eyes close as he moved closer, her hand moving up to rest on his chest. She was relaxed and she could feel herself start to get sleepy. But unlike him she didn't have work or school tomorrow. So she could stay out late and not have to worry about anything. However he did mention the loser would have to buy coffee for the other. So she didn't know what the plans are. "Not that I'm not enjoying this, but you do have work tomorrow." She pointed out, before a yawn pulled at her lips. She was content her to just go to sleep and spend the night here. But she didn't want to make thing difficult for him.

Mason felt tingles across his chest her hand came to rest on it. He relaxed back and smiled softly, "I did say that we would go home when you wanted to, I am a man of my word," he said softly. He pulled her closer, "trust me, I'll survive with one night, of sleeping outside," he said. "I spent far more in a row, trying to sleep in those god awful hospital chairs," he joked slightly, "so this is actually the lap of luxury for me," he teased. He paused for a moment, "besides sharing with a such a beautiful woman, how could any man find that problematic," he added.

The blush on her cheeks seemed permanent. "I don't want to inconvenience you." She told him, knowing that she wasn't a priority like his fiance. But she felt on cloud nine when he pulled her closer. She sighed softly. Shifting her head she nuzzled his arm, before relaxing. "But I don't want to leave either." She told him. She felt like this night couldn't get any better. He'd opened up to her, was holding her, and was willing to stay by her side all night. She could suggest they take this else where as both of them had beds at their places. But she had a feeling it wouldn't be the same. Once she left his arms it'd feel awkward, or she'd be at a loss for words. Whatever the reason was she didn't want to leave this moment right here.

Mason smiled gently and nodded, still holding her close, "well let's not leave until morning, I promise the sunrise is totally beautiful," he said lightly. He found his hand slipping slowly down her back, supporting it and pulling their groins closer together. He was happy lying here, with her. He closed his eyes, and slowly tried to slip asleep.

Feeling his hands on her she shuddered lightly. Tucking her head she cuddled closer to his chest, sighing she loved that he pulled her closer. It made her feel wanted. After the night she had it boosted her confidence. Though she wondered if he had his moments playing with girls hearts. There was so much she wanted to ask him. But with his heart still hurt from Jess's passing. Those topic felt to incentive. "Well then let's not miss it." She smiled settling down

Mason chuckled softly and nodded, "I've got an alarm set, just incase we drift off," he said softly. He soon found that he managed to drift into a light sleep, holding her in his arms. It was something that he'd done many time with Jess, but this time was definitely different. He was glad she wanted to stay.

It was early morning, that Mason felt his phone vibrate lightly, telling him the sun was about to come up. He always had his alarm set for just before sun rise. He shifted slightly, as he thought about when to wake Ms Greyson up, as the sunset was still a couple minutes off.

Emery fell asleep rather easy, surprisingly. As she'd never been one to sleep with someone. It was new but comfortable, even though the ground was hard. Feeling the movement early in the morning she stirred. Though she was to lost in her slumber to wake up.

Mason shifted only slightly to sit up and look out at the city. He took a breath of the fresh air, and smiled lightly to himself. He jostled Ms Greyson awake lightly, "Ms Greyson, you said you didnt want to miss the sunrise," he said lightly. He shifted and let her go so that she could sit up.

"Emery," she told him sleepily as she sat up. Yawning she stretched, before laying her head on his shoulder. Blinking lightly as she tried her best to wake herself up. But even in her sleepily state hearing him call her Ms Grayson sound so weird. And after sleeping in his arms all night he should be calling her Emery.

Mason chuckled softly, "yes I suppose I should call you Emery, given the circumstances," he said softly. He put his arm around her gently, trying to warm her up slightly. "come on, I promise we will stop by for coffee, before I drop you at your place before heading to work," he said softly.

He was glad that she had spent the entire night with him, just as Jessie had so many times. "So tell me, was this view, worth staying out all night?" he asked, as the sun finally peaked its way over the horizon, covering the city in a warm orange glow.

Feeling the warmth from him as he pulled her closers. She smiled as the light of the sun broke over the horizon. It was breath taking and it made her feel special. That he wanted to share this special spot and early morning with her. It warmed her heart to know he want to share the things he did with her.

When he pulled away she stood, moving off the blanket. Smiling softly at him she chuckled. "So you're saying you lost last night's question game?" She smirked knowing that it wasn't entirely true he called it quits early on the game though.

Mason stood up, picking up the blanket, and their rubbish. He looked at her, and smiled, "well, no, because we never actually finished, we just stopped asking questions for awhile," he said softly. He began to slowly walk back towards the car, "so my turn, so if your friends ask about your date last night, or why you only got in this morning, what are you going to tell them?" he asked.

Letting out a soft laugh she shook her head. "I'll tell the the truth, with a few minor detail changes." She told him truthful. "After all they were the one that set me up with that douche bag." She knew they would get an ear full. But they wouldn't get any detail about the rest of her night. She would be keeping all that to herself. "Have you had a bad date like I did last night?" She wanted to know more of his history with woman. But she wanted to steer clear of the topic of Jess.

Mason smiled softly, "please do, make them feel awful for setting you up with him, let them know you had to end up sleeping outside, in the middle of nowhere, all of that, just twist the knife," he said teasingly. He looked at her, "well, yes, my first date with Jess went terribly, I was a total tool, but thankfully, she decided to give me a second chance, and she insisted the she pick the second date," he said lightly.

"Oh I plan to." She chuckled lightly. Knowing that they were never again allowed to set her up on a date. She smiled listening to him talk about his first date. "It couldn't have been that bad, she gave you another chance after all." She told him, knowing that women could be quite forgiving when they were in love. But first date they left an impression you could never shake.

Mason laughed, "good I'm glad," he said. He thought for a moment, "I spilled wine on her, then, proceeded to make things much worse, I think she just felt bad, and could tell that I was just far too nervous for my own good," he said. He opened the car door for her as they made it back to the car.

"Okay one more question, and then I quit and I'll get the coffee's, if you can't answer you pay," he said softly. He walked around and climbed into the car, before sitting down, "have you checked your outgoing calls lately?" he asked her innocently.

Letting out a soft laugh she looked at him, "I think I'd prefer getting wine spilled on me, and having him try to clean it up. Than what happened last night." She told him, knowing that his worst date wasn't to bad. But she nodded at the change of subject when he said if she couldn't answer the question he asked she was a bit concerned her was going to get really personal. But it wasn't like she'd never had a personal talk with a guy so she was ready for it. "Okay?" She said sliding into the passenger seat. When he asked her about checking her out going calls she chuckled lightly before shaking her head. "No I can't say I have, why?" She asked him before pulling out her phone. Only to find that it was dead. "Why?" She asked again wondering what this could possible be about.

Mason smiled gently, and kept his attention on the road as he slowly made his way back to the city. He nodded when she said that she hadn't check them, then immediately proceeded to check her phone. "Oh no reason, I just wondered whether other people did that, or If I was a massive weirdo," he said softly.

Mason smiled to himself, if she hadn't intended to call him, the night previously, when she noticed that call he was sure she would freak out about it. He pulled into the coffee shop parking lot. "Well I suppose, I'm buying," he said lightly.
