Rise Above The Storm

"It'd be nice to get some pictures taken... I don't really have any, aside from the ones on my phone," Addison admitted.

"Then it's settled." Brian smiled at her.

Addison returned the smile and looked down at Seb, knowing that, despite everything, this was the start of something new... something better for the both of them."

Later into the day Brian smiled at Seb looking around as he held to the little guy smiling. "Are we all checked in for pictures for little man?" Brian smiled as Addison returned.

"We are, the lady said that it would only be a short wait, apparently we came at the right time or something," Addison replied with a smile, "I thought we would have to book a slot, but it seems as though it's pretty quiet for them at the moment."

"That's great." Brian smiled cooing at Seb. "His outfit you picked out is pretty cute on him." Brian smiled at her.

"He looks cute in anything he wears," Addison stated with a mock glare.

Laughing slightly Brian shook his head, "Well, I do agree with that." Brian told her.

Addison chuckled and lowered her gaze to the ground, not wanting Brian to see just how much she was falling for him. Before she died, her grandma had always told her that someone can always see the truth in your eyes and she honestly believed that.

"This doctor is seriously taking his time," Dom stated as he paced the room, "I just want to take you home."

Brian grinned catching a glimpse of her eyes. He could tell she was falling for him. As he was her. He wanted a life with her, and he couldn't explain himself.

"Quit pacing!" Lauren sighed leaning back into the bed. Seeing the doctor coming in she was glad when he released her. Waiting on the discharge papers, she was glad to get dressed and out of the hospital. Once they were in his car she took and relaxed as they headed home.

"Glad to be going home?" Dom inquired, though he already knew the answer, "Everyone will be glad to see you."

Laughing slightly, Lauren nodded her head. "Yes, I am." Lauren whispered with a smile.

"Hopefully our little trouble maker is on his best behavior until it's time for us to meet him," Dom joked, placing his hand on Lauren's stomach and running his thumb over her bump affectionately.

Addison stood up as they were called through, smiling as they entered a small studio and taking in the props that the photographer had already set up.

"So, I was thinking maybe a few shots of the little one alone and then some with you and his dad?" the woman suggested, causing Addison to freeze and scramble to find an answer that wouldn't scare Brian away.

"That sounds great." Brian smiled at Addison, "Right babe?" Brian smiled putting his hand on the small of her back while holding Seb.

Lauren laughed lightly, "What if it's a girl, or both? Oh my god. Dom what if we're having twins?" She looked at her fiance. "Are we ready for two babies?" Lauren began to panick.

"Yeah, sounds perfect to me," Addison agreed with a smile.

Nobody knew the truth about Seb's conception and it was the last thing that she wanted to talk about, but there was no doubt in Addison's mind that it would eventually come up.

"Boy, girl, twins, triplets... we've got this," Dom promised with a smile, "They will have everything they need and more love than some kids could ever wish for."

Brian smiled at her as she watched the woman snap pictures of Seb. Smiling he looked at Addison, "I like this." Brian smiled at her.

Lauren smacked him softly, "Triplets, Dominic!" She looked at him and saw him grin as she smiled. "We've got this." She took a deep breath feeling the flutter. "I think it moved." She smiled softly.

"Me too," Addison admitted with a smile.

"Well you never know," Dominic argued with a grin.

Brian smiled at her.

Lauren shook her head, "Dom!" She squealed smacking his arm playfully. "We go later today to the ultrasound appointment." She told him.

"Then we will find out how many babies we need to prepare for," Dom stated with a grin.

Lauren smiled, "That we will." Lauren told him softly.
