Rise Above The Storm

The next morning Brian had made them brekfast knowing the garage wasn't opening up today from the text he'd gotten from Dom and Vince last night. Platting the food he heard Seb stir and went to get the little guy to let Addison rest. Scooping him up he managed to change his diaper, and get his bottle fixed. Sitting in the chair he smiled down at him. "I may not be your biological dad, little man. But I sure as hell will take care of you and your mom, and make sure no one harms either of you." He promised.

Lauren took and sat in the hospital bed sighing as she rubbed her face. She hadn't slept much and knew Dom hadn't slept much either. Looking over to the recliner she saw him sound asleep as she took and smiled softly.

Addison woke up later than usual, frowning when she didn't hear Seb and leaving the bedroom to find him in Brian's arms.

"Morning," she greeted with a grin, "No work today?"

Brian shook his head, "Dom is giving us the day off today." Brian told her. "Lauren is in the hospital so he's there with her." Brian told her.

"Is she okay?" Addison inquired with a frown, feeling the worry stir in her chest and waiting expectantly for an answer.

Dom stirred, groan at the way his neck ached and stretched as he stood up.

"How're you feeling?" he asked Lauren as he kissed her head, "Did you sleep?"

"She started having contractions. But she's ok from what Dom said." Brian told her.

"Not much." She told him honestly. "I watched you sleep." She giggled softly. "I told you to go home and rest stubborn pants." She smiled.

"I'm glad that she's okay, the stress of my mom probably didn't help," Addison said with a frown.

"I did rest," Dom argued with a smile, "Plus, I wasn't just going to leave you here."

"Your mom had nothing to do with it." Brian assured her.

Lauren rolled her eyes, "I would have been fine." Lauren told him softly smiling.

"Not directly I know, but it probably didn't help," Addison mumbled.

"Lauren is always stressing over something< Addison. That is something you'll come to learn about her." Brian laughed smiling.

With a chuckle, Addison shook her head and took Seb from Brian with a smile. "Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure." Brian smiled at her as he took and went to clean out Seb's bottle.

"What are we?" Addison asked as she bit her lip, looking down at Seb and kissing his head.

"How're you feeling?" Dom asked Lauren as he watched her.

"I hope we're a couple." Brian told her with a smile. "I would really like that." Brian admitted.

"Soso." Lauren told him sighing. "I am ready to get out of here and go home." Lauren admitted.

"Me too," Addison said, returning the smile and settling Seb in his push chair to sleep, "I just need you to be sure that you're ready for everything being with me means, especially when it comes to Seb..."

"It shouldn't be too long now," Dom promised with a smile.

"I am more than ready." Brian smiled. "He's getting low on formula, so I grabbed some extra cans last night when I came in from work." Brian smiled at her.

"I hope not." Lauren sighed laying there listing to the baby's heart beat.

"Thank you," Addison said with a shy smile, "I'm going to go get him ready for the day, we can't all lay around in our pajamas all day..."

Brian laughed, "Funny." Brian shook his head.

"I know," Addison joked as she headed into Seb's room and picked out an outfit, getting him ready for the day, "What's your plans for today?"

"I was thinking maybe we could do an outing and maybe get Seb's pictures done?" Brian smiled.
