Rise Above The Storm

"Really?" Lauren asked with a smile. "I seem to have literally popped over night." Lauren smiled as she looked back at Seb seeing him sleep. "He's so precious. I am glad you came." Lauren smiled at Addison. "I appreciate the help too." Lauren told her.

"It's no problem, I know what it was like being pregnant and it can be a little overwhelming at times," Addison replied with a smile, "Besides, us girls have got to stick together, right?"

"Right!" Lauren smiled at her. "I am glad you are here." Lauren told her again smiling at her.

Once they arrived at the shop she took and went into the office and helped Addison set up for Seb. Smiling she sat down slowly and began the paper work. "Dom normally does the garage running, I run this place and the paperwork to everything." Lauren told her smiling. "Make yourself at home." She told her.

Addison had been sat with Lauren for nearly two hours, when the bell above the door in the shop rang and a familiar voice caught her attention. Her blood ran cold as she heard the second voice and panic began to build in her chest and she made a rash decision. With a glance at Seb, she kissed his head and turned to look at Lauren.

"They're here for me, which means that they know where I am and they won't stop," she said as tears formed in her eyes, "My mom and Kevin don't care about Seb, he'll be safe with you and the others. I have to go with them..."

"No you don't." Lauren said calling Dom letting him know the two were there. "You stay here with Seb." Lauren warned getting up and walking out as she shut the office door. "Can I help you two? If you are not going to eat, then you need to get out." Lauren snapped out.

"Easy there, we're just looking for someone," Kevin stated, "She's got a baby with her... you see, she has this medical condition with her heart and it's important that she takes her medication. We try to do our best at keeping her on top of it and we're afraid that she's stopped taking them or has forgotten."

"I am sure." Lauren crossed her arms. "There's no one here but my sister n law and myself. So you can leave." Lauren told them hoping Seb didn't wake up and Dom and Brian got there.

As soon as Luren had notified him of who was at the store, he had rushed for the car and waited for Brian to join him before hitting the road with the crew following close behind. He didn't know what to expect, but he was ready and he wasn't about to let anything happen to Addision.

Seb stirred, but Addison picked him up and he stayed quiet.

Lauren narrowed the two down feeling Mia at her side as she cleared her throat. "Now, you see it's just us. Leave. Or I will forgeable make you leave." Lauren warned the two seeing the woman smirking as she smirked to match the woman's. "Don't test me, lady." Lauren warned her.

Seeing Dom pulling up he took and got out following Dom's lead.

Dom strolled into the shop and immediately moved to stand beside Lauren, giving the people in front of them a once over. "What's going on here?" he asked innocently as he placed his hand on Lauren's lower back.

"Just looking for someone that belongs to us," Kevin replied with a shrug, "Obviously she's not here, so we'll be leaving... we'll see you around Toretto."

Narrowing her eyes as the two emerged to leave the shop. She saw Brian hardly bump into Kevin with a narrowed gaze. Once they were out and gone, Lauren sighed in relief. "Thank god you got here. I was about to smack him and her." Lauren told him rushing to the offices the best she could seeing Addison rocking Seb she smiled in relief. "Their gone. They know not to mess with Dom. Trust me Addy, you're safe." Lauren hugged her tightly placing a light kiss to Seb's head.

"Safe, as can be. We won't let anything happen to you. And we sure as hell don't believe those lies. They are going to get what's coming to them." Brian assured her instantly at her other side putting his arm on her lower back looking at her.

The problem was that they were telling the truth about her heart condition, but she had it under control and was taking her meds as she should be. It was something that she didn't tell people about because it made them treat her differently, Tej knew and also knew that she was handling it.

"How about we close up early and have dinner as a family?" Dom suggested, "I think we all need to relax and just be for a little while without any stress."

Lauren nodded her head, "I agree." Lauren said.

"I'm fine," Addison told him, kissing Seb's head and tightening his hold on him slightly.

"Let's go," Dom stated, "You girls head over to the house with Vince and we'll join you once we've locked up the garage."

Once she was home with Addison, Mia, and Seb. She got out slowly feeling the cramps from the stress. Taking a deep breath she took and walked through the house slowly. "I think tonight, maybe we could order some take out tonight." Lauren told the two waiting on the men to get here, minus Vince.

"Take away sounds perfect to me," Addison stated, excusing herself and heading to the bathroom to take her medication.

It didn't take them long to lock up the garage and DOm led the way over to the house, parking up in the drive.

After ordering everyone's favorite, Lauren slowly sat down resting her hand to her swollen stomach. Sighing softly she took and lent into the recliner closing her eyes.

Brian walked with Dom inisde the house.

Addison changed Seb's diaper, before making him a bottle and sitting down on the sofa. "It won't be much longer, then there will be two babies."

DOm entered the house, slipping off his jacket and kissing Lauren's head in greeting.

Lauren smiled at Addison, "Very true." Lauren told her softly as she took and smiled up at Dom. "Hey stranger."

Brian took and walked in behind Dom smiling at Addison and Seb. "There's my two favorite people." Brian smiled.

"Hi, how you feeling?" Dom inquired as he took a seat.
