Once he was in the car, Dominic turned the car on and leaned over to play with the heat settings. It was still relatively warm out, but Dom was just trying to be a gentleman and make sure that Kiera was alright. So, turning the heated seat on for her was the least he could do. After all, she agreed to marry him and help him get the wicked witch off of his trail. "Hmm?" Dom murmured as he glanced up towards her as he leaned back up into a normal sitting position.

"Duke's a member of the paparazzi. He works for a magazine and I promised him a big scoop for his last article before he retires next month. He's been following me around for around ten years, so I figured I'd give him a big payday to help with his retirement." Dominic explained as he checked his mirrors before backing up and then driving towards the restaurant that they'd be having their first meal as a couple. Of course, Jack and Veronica were still going to be there as it was a celebratory dinner, but it was enough. After all, Jack was also an heir to another company and was more than happy to add to the publicity that Dom was trying to get with this scandal.

Looking towards the road as he drove, Dom left back into his seat and kept one hand on the wheel and the other relaxed at his side as he drove. "Thanks again for doing this, Kiera. This is really helping me out." Dom said quietly as they pulled up to the fancy French restaurant a couple of minutes later. The valet coming out right away to open their doors. Standing near the front of the car, Dom held his elbow out for Kiera so that he could lead her inside. Then to the private outdoor seating area that they had for the time that they'd be dining in.

"Oh," Kiera was a little surprise to hear that there was going to be paparazzi at the restaurant just for him. She knew that Dominic was rich. That much was clear. Though she had not expected for him to be... so well known that people actually followed him around. That others actually wanted to know what the man was up to. She was sure there was a reason for it besides him just having a lot of money. Though Kiera was unaware of whatever section of the world Dominic was in that made him so popular. It certainly was going to be an interesting month.

"You're welcome. Though you are helping me out a lot as well," Kiera said softly as she looked up at him. Her eyes shifted outside of the window as he pulled up to one of the fanciest restaurants she had ever seen. And once he parked the car, the valet was opening her door and helping her out of it. When Dominic came from the other side, she took his elbow, smiling brightly at him. If there were going to be paparazzi here, it meant that she couldn't slip for a moment.

She let him lead her through the dining area until they were brought to the back where it was private and a lot quieter. And there was no doubt that it was nice. It was outside but they had a wooden trellis above that was covered in flowers and other foliage. Some of it was even hanging to make this nice effect. Kiera had to admit that she loved it. Though they weren't here to talk about the décor so she slid into her seat next to Dominic.

As they got to their table, Dominic makes sure to pull out the chair for Kiera before he took his own seat. A small smile on his face as he saw how Kiera's face looked when they walked inside. "Just relax, think of it as the diner." He told her as he left over to whisper into her ear. Hoping to calm her down a little bit. "The foods amazing here, and the selection of wine is one that would make a wine snob piss himself," Dominic said as he sat up straight and reached for the menu that was in front of his seat and opened it.

A couple of moments later, Veronica and Jack came to join them. A light conversation about the latest sports game that Jack went to being the main subject. Dom didn't really have a sports team that he favored, so when Jack always asked him to watch a game or go to one, he made sure to piss his friend off by rooting for the opposite team. It was always so fun to Dom to watch Jack get angry over not being the winner. Especially when he bets money with Dom and their other friends.

When the waitress came over to get their orders, Dom glanced towards Kiera. "Are you ready, babe or do you want a couple more moments to look?" Dom asked, offering her a small smile. Wanting to make sure that Kiera felt as much a part of this group as he could. This was a big change for her. Coming from low modest life to a life of riches and fame.

As Dominic pulled away from whispering to her, Kiera looked up at him and smiled brightly at him. She wanted it to seem like he had just said something sweet to her, and in a way he did. She appreciated the way that Dominic was trying to reassure her, how he wanted to make sure that she was comfortable. That was definitely a good sign for the next month that they were going to be together. Though she definitely did not want to think about this place as the diner since it meant that she would have to work. "Sounds like you might need to pick out a wine I should try." She teased.

Kiera shifted as Veronica and Jack came to sit down with them. As the conversation delve into sports teams, Kiera just absent mindedly smiled and nodded to what he said. There was not much she had to say on the topic. Most sports were incredibly boring but the young woman did enjoy hockey. She had a team that she loved from it as well. But that wasn't the main topic of discussion as it was currently the off season.

"I'm ready." Kiera told Dominic before she looked up at the waitress. "I will have the Supreme De Volaille and a glass of the Chateau Margaux. Thank you." With that, she handed the waitress her menu before looking over to the others to order.

A small smile played along Dominic's lips as he listened to Kiera speak the french names. It was cute, listening to someone speak them. The language itself is beautiful, and even if it's just saying a name of a dish Dom can't help but to appreciate it. Especially when it comes from pretty girls' lips. Kiera might be his fake wife, but on paper and in the public's eye she was his woman and he will do everything in his will to make sure to give her his undivided attention. No matter what, because to everyone watching, she was the most beautiful woman he'd met. It's why they were married.

Looking towards the waitress, Dominic passed the menu that he didn't even open and handed her the menu. "I'll have the Blanquette de veau and the chef's recommended wine to pair with it." He said as he looked away from the woman quickly. His eyes moving towards Kiera once more. He didn't want to see the waitress's flirty expression that he knew she was giving him. Tonight was his wedding night, so he couldn't accept the open invitation this woman was giving him. His bed and life were currently full.

Once they had all ordered, Dominic slowly turned his head towards Kiera. "So, what college are you going to?" He asked, keeping his voice low even though the four of them were the only ones in the immediate area. Duke wouldn't be able to hear them from his hiding spot, which was good. "You just doing community or a university?" Dom asked, wanting to get to know Kiera a little bit better. Usually, Kiera would just say school, but he needed to be able to answer these things lightning-quick of someone threw a random question his way.

Once everyone ordered, Kiera turned her attention away from the waitress and back to the three people in front of her. Though Dominic was first to start speaking. She turned her glaze towards him, a little smile on her face. "Parson School of Design." As she answered back, she kept her voice low and gentle. It was best if no one else overheard their conversation. After all, if the two of them were legit, then he would have already known the answer to this question. "I am getting my degree in Illustration."

"Both of you must be out of college." Kiera said as she turned to Jack for a moment before returning back to Dominic. They were older than her, that was to be sure. And with the lives that they lived, Kiera felt confident that they would have gone to college and graduated. Probably will little issue as well. "What do you do? Must be important if you have paparazzo following you around."

As the waitress came back with their drink orders, Kiera closed her lips, not wanting to say anything else in front of the stranger. Though soon they all had their drinks in front of them and the waitress was gone. At which point, Kiera turned to the young girl. "And you are still in high school, right?" Kiera supposed that the young lady could have a baby face but... well she definitely looked like a teen.

Reaching out a hand to grab his glass of wine, Dominic couldn't help the small smile that appeared upon his lips as he glanced at Kiera through the corner of his eye. Listening to her speak. "What do you plan on doing once you get that degree?" He asked, wanting to keep the conversation going, because if it stopped Dom was a little scared that they wouldn't be able to get it to start moving once more.

After sipping his wine, Dominic glanced at Jack for a moment before looking at Kiera full on. "We are out of college." He agreed, then offered a small nod of his head. "We both studied Business and then Jack here went to law school after," Dominic explained. "He's the heir to a large law firm called Counts of Confidence." Jack could be seen smirking from his spot, knowing that anyone who owns's a phone or tv would see news articles about how they represent some of the biggest influential people in the world. From CEOs to government workers.

"Me, on the other hand. I'm the CEO of SkyBlue Tech. We specialize in cybersecurity and money handling. The reason for the paparazzi is because I've actually ranked first and second most sought after bachelor for the past three years and a new ex-girlfriend who'd a supermodel. Hense, the paparazzi" Saying all of that sent a bad taste into Dominic's mouth, he hated talking about his life and achievements but Kiera needed to know. Hopefully though, knowing how big of a deal his company is and powerful he actually is, she won't change how she sees him.

Looking up from her cellphone that she was probably playing a game on, Veronica looked towards Kiera. "I'm starting eleventh grade this year," Veronica said and then looked back down at her phone. "I go to Hawkins Private School." A quiet curse escapes from Veronica and I catch a glance at her phone to see that she died in her little game. "That sucks, you almost beat my high score." Jack could be heard from his spot followed by an ooph as Veronica elbows him in the side.

A small chuckle escaped from Dom as he watched his sister and friend from his spot. "Veronica's also my youngest sibling and only sister. I have two other younger siblings, my brothers but they're both currently in the army and are deployed overseas. James is closest to my age, he's twenty-six and is a medic, while Joey is twenty-two and is a lieutenant." Then, silence befell them as the waitress came over with the food.

"I am hoping to become an animator." Kiera responded, offering a little smile as she did so. It was something that she had wanted to do for a long time and she was so close to finally being able to do it. Just one more year and Kiera could start applying for jobs.

The young woman nodded as it was confirmed they would both out of college. It really was what she was expecting. Though she was a little thrown off at hearing that Jack's family owned the law firm Counts of Confidence. It was pretty well known after some of the cases they had done. "Oh wow. I have heard of that law firm. It almost always seems to be on the news." Kiera responded. "Do you work there now then or still finishing up at law school?"

Kiera's eyes shifted back to Dominic as he started to talk about his own situation. SkyBlue Tech was also very well known. Well Kiera didn't know anything about the people who owned it, she did known about the company as it was HUGE. And she couldn't stop the awkward smile on her face as he mentioned being the 'most sought after bachelor for the past three years'. People were definitely going to wonder why he was with her. And she couldn't blame them. Kiera was never on any lists nor from some high and powerful family. She was just...Kiera. "Wow so you all are really well known, aren't you?" Kiera had thought she was helping someone who was rich and under the radar. She never considered the repercussions of a fake marriage with someone who was in the spotlight.

Little nods came from Kiera as they continued to talk but at this point she was no longer able to listen. She was phased out and her eyes were glazing over a bit as she thought about what this meant. Kiera had not only just married some random rich man but someone who was the CEO's son of Skynet. She had just thought that this marriage announcement was going to be deep in some random news article or magazine. But what if it wasn't? Her friends were going to flip if they found out... oh god, her mother was going to kill her.

Interest radiated from Dominic as he listened to Kiera speak. He didn't know that she was going to do something interesting. Animation was a hard career to get into, but from what he did know about her, he knew that she would succeed. Kiera was determined. She was headstrong and was far from being a pushover. Kiera will make it in this bit world, Dominic just knew it. Her kind and down to earth personality was what drew him to the young girl, but knowing that she's as determined was an added plus. It'll add to the attraction of the people. As well as get that good for nothing ex of his off his trail. He'd rather have someone in college and getting a degree than someone who just used their looks to make money.

"I've been practicing for three years now," Jack said, seeming casual as he spoke. To him, working for a large law firm that his family-owned wasn't a big deal. He's been in the spotlight with his family's growing wealth and power in the law for years. So, he was pretty conceited. Dom's eyes slowly traveled towards Kiera as he noticed that she'd gone a little quiet. Her eyes looking a little glossy, like she was lost in a daze. Lowering his hand, Dominic reached over and slowly placed his hand over one of Kiera's. Offering her a small squeeze of reassurance as he watched her silently. Offering a small bit of comfort in hopes that Kiera wouldn't have a meltdown in the middle of a fancy restaurant that didn't let just anyone come in and dine.

As the waitress was spotted carrying the tray with their food, Dominic raised his hand that held Kiera's hand towards his lips and pressed a small kiss to her knuckles. "You'll be fine." He mouthed to her from behind her hand so that the waitress didn't see. Then, he places another small peck on her soft skin and slowly placed Kiera's hand back onto the table. "Eat, it's been a long day," Dom said quietly as he motioned for Kiera to eat the beautifully plated meal in front of her. "I promise it's delicious."

After the quiet dinner, Dominic lead Kiera towards the car and helped her in once more. His features seeming impassive to the outside world, holding onto that cool personality that he portrays so that people don't bother him. "You enjoy dinner?" Dominic asked once he was in the car, his features relaxing as he glanced towards Kiera as he pulled out of the parking lot and then headed towards his home. It would seem to out of place, having gotten married and then dropping his new wife back off at her old apartment. "You did great by the way, I hope you didn't feel to out of place." Dom's eyes focused on the road as he drove, making sure to check the mirrors and things like any good driver would do.

Pulling into his gated neighborhood, Dominic glanced towards Kiera. Wanting to see her reaction as he pulled into the driveway of his mansion. He could afford to buy sometihng six times bigger, but he preferred to live a little more condensed for his wealth class. Feeling like having too big of a place would mean he'd have less chance of seeing loved ones if they came to stay for a while. "Kinda small, I know, but it's home," Dominic said quietly, the right corner of his lips pulling up into a small amused smirk.
Parking the car, Dominic stepped out and went to Kiera's side. Opening the door for the final time that night and helping her out of the car. Then, he placed a hand lightly on her lower back to lead her into the mansion. The foryer light was on dim, casting the place in a warm and welcoming glow. "Welcome home, Kiera," Dominic said quietly as he closed the door behind himself. "The bedroom up stairs and first door on the right will be your room," Dom said as he pointed upstairs. "The last bedroom on the left is my room. the rests are guest rooms and an office that I use when it's too bad outside or I don't feel like going into the office."

Walking through the foyer and taking a left, Dominic entered into the Kitchen. "Want something else to drink?" Dominic called out to Kiera as he slowly shrugged off his suit jacket and placed it on a chair at the island as he went to his fridge. "I've got beer, wine, vodka, tequila, gin, and saki."

As she felt her hand being squeezed, Kiera came back to reality. She had been hoping that this one month was something that she would be able to keep on the downlow. Maybe a few people would need to know but she had not imagined that she would have to call her family about this. Hell, they didn't live in the same state so it had seemed like an easy task at the beginning! Though it was beginning to seem like that was no longer the case... Perhaps it was best to wait it out, see if her and Dominic's faces were plastered on anything that would get back to them.

"I hope so," Kiera whispered back to him, squeezing Dominic's hand gently as he kissed the back of her hand. She wasn't going to say it but the young woman couldn't help but think that while her mother was busy killing her, that her father would be busy killing Dominic. Trying to get that thought out of her mind, Kiera refocused herself on the dinner as well as the rest of the polite conversation.

Soon after, she was finding herself getting lead back to the car. Once inside, she let out a sigh as he walked around the car to get into the driver's seat. She had decided to keep her mouth shut until her family called her. No reason to upset them if they weren't going to find out in the first place. At which point, maybe she could calm them down by explaining that this was all fake. Her eyes shifted over to Dominic as he got inside. Perhaps it would be a good idea to warn him... but Kiera liked the idea of not dealing with it at all and keeping the man in the dark as well.

"Dinner was delicious." Kiera told him, "And Jack and Kiera were wonderful as well so I didn't feel out of place for a moment." She lied. It was a little hard not too when in the company of people of their status. Not that anyone did anything, it was just odd.

Once they reached the gates into Dominic's neighborhood, Kiera started to pay more attention to what they were passing. The houses in the area were rather large and extremely nice... but part of her was a little surprised that a man like Dominic wasn't living in a 27 bedroom mansion. At least she was until he joked about it being small. It was small in comparison to what she was thinking but it certainly was large for one person. Hell, it was large for a married couple with kids.

Kiera followed him into the house, her eyes scanning over as much as she could as he moved her through and told her where some of the rooms were. "You have a beautiful home, Dominic." She said as she eventually followed him into the kitchen. Though once he was in sight again, her eyes stuck to him like glue. What would the man be like now that they were alone in his own house? "I would love some Saki."

"Thank you, I put a lot of effort into decorating the place," Dominic murmured and cast Kiera a small smile over his shoulder. Then, he cast his gaze back towards the drinks that he had in his fridge. A small single nod of his head is his indication to Kiera that he had heard her little request. "Saki, it is then," Dominic said as he reached into the fridge and grabbed a fancy looking bottle of sake. Words are spoken in Japanese and then small font of English at the bottom of it.

Setting the bottle onto the counter, Dominic walked to a cabinet that housed his liquor glasses and pulled out two of them. "Do you want any ice?" Dominic asked as he glanced towards Kiera and then grabbed her some if she wanted and then put the ice into the glasses. "Make yourself at home, by the way, you don't need to stand around," Dom said over his shoulder as he poured them both something to drink and then headed towards the little island in the kitchen.

Then, he pulled out a chair and sat down across from Kiera. "Sorry for not getting you ready for all of this," Dom said as he raised his drink to his lips and taking a couple of small sips of the strong liquor. "I know that it's going to be quite a whirlwind now." A small sigh escaped from Dom as he slowly lowered his drink back onto the table. "But I can promise you, that I'll do my best to help you through everything. Scouts honor." The right corner of his lips tilted up at that.

As Dominic told her to make herself at home, Kiera nodded a little and headed over to one of the bar steps under the island. She leaned forward against the counter before running a hand through her hair. The young woman was more nervous than she had been before. Yes, it had rattled her a bit to agree to this and during the ceremony. But it was a totally different feeling now that she was in his house. Hopefully, Kiera would get used to it quickly. After all, she was going to stay there for some time and they still had others to meet. Others who didn't know the truth.

"I don't know how you would have." Kiera told him honestly as she reached out and took her glass. "There was so little time to prepare so..." She shrugged at him a little before taking a long sip from her drink. Everything was going to be okay. She just had to keep reminding herself of that. And if her parents were to find out, Kiera would tell them the truth and hopefully they would calm down with a long explanation and some time to cool off.

As she set her glass down on the table, the young woman looked over at him and her eyes started to soften. "I am not sure that means anything if you aren't actually a scout." She joked lightly, wanting to lighten the tension she was feeling. "We will figure it out together. And, if we get lucky, things will be smooth sailing after the first week."

Kiera picked up her glass again, finishing it off before she set it down. She slipped off of the stool before turning to him. "I am going to go lay down. I'll see you in the morning." With that, she made her way towards the bedroom that he had pointed out.

Coming down the stairs, Dominic took two steps down at a time. His eyes focused downwards slightly as he focused on fixing his handcuffs. Making sure that they looked cleanly folded as he fixed them. "Mari-Anna, please prepare something sweet for dessert tonight. I'm in the mood for sweets today." Dom said as he reached the bottom step. His gaze only raising once he reached the bottom step. "Yes sir, I shall prepare those brownies that you adore," Mari-anna said in her french accent, her voice soft as she spoke to the master of the house.

Walking into the Kitchen, Dominic moved to the island and watched his chef slash head made move around the kitchen. "Oh, and prepare two servings for now on. I got married ahead of schedule." Dom said as he was handed a cup of coffee. A look of surprise appearing on the older woman's face. "You have?" She asked. "To, Miss...?" Dom raised his hand to stop Mari-Anna from speaking any farther on the topic. "No, no and her name shall not be spoken here again," Dominic told the woman. "Her name is Kiera, and she is a very lovely woman. I think you'd quite like her as well."

Raising the cup of coffee to his lips, Dominic sipped his coffee. Then let out a small hum as he felt the hot liquid warming his throat. "Perfect, just how I like it," Dom murmured quietly and then set the cup down as he heard a floorboard behind him squeaking. "Ah, Kiera. Morning." Dom spoke and then offered her a small smile. "Breakfast?" He asked as he motioned for her to take a seat next to him.

"Good Morning," Kiera said softly as continued towards Dominic. She smiled at him gently before her eyes shifted over to see another woman in the house. The stranger appeared to a chef since she was already cooking and based on her outfit. So, in other words, someone who would not be aware of their arrangement. "Yes, I would like some," Kiera said as she sat down in the chair next to him. Once she was settled, Kiera turned and pressed a gentle kiss against his cheek.

She offered Dominic a light smile before running her fingers through her hair. "What is on the schedule today?" Kiera murmured to him, wondering what they were going to be up to. She was sure that they must be doing something, meeting someone. In the least, Kiera thought that his family would want to know about the arrangement. Though who knew if Dominic wanted her there for that or not. And, if he did, she could only hope that his family would accept her role in this. Someone who was just there temporarily, who just wanted to help. She really did want to try and make Dominic's life as easy as possible during this arrangement.

Thinking of his family reminded Kiera of her concerns from the night before. So the young woman pulled out her phone with the thought of checking the news to see if their marriage had been publicized. It was strange to think that was a possibility. And Kiera was probably much too concerned about it than she needed to be. Nonetheless, she needed to know just how newsworthy Dominic was.

A small smile displayed along Dominic's lips as he listened to Kiera. Then, he looked at Mari-Anna and nodded his head, she didn't need to be told twice as she prepared another plate to be added to the table. "Mari-Anna this is, Kiera. Kiera, this is Mari-Anna. She's been my chef and head of my house staff for a couple of years now." Dominic said as he looked towards Kiera. "She's also the only full-time staff member I employ for the house."

Mari-Anna put some scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, and sausage onto two plates and placed them in front of the two sitting at the counter. Then, she placed two bowls of fresh fruit down for them as well as some orange juice. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Kiera," Mari-Anna said as she offered Kiera a small smile.

Picking up his fork, Dominic started to pick at his food before glancing towards Kiera. "For today, I have a meeting to attend at ten," Dominic said as he took a bite of his eggs. "Afterwards though, I'd like to take you out on the water. I haven't gotten on my boat in a while, What do you say?" Dom asked, glancing at Kiera as he chewed his food.

"It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Mari-Anna." Kiera said warmly as she smiled back at the older woman. It was impressive, really, that Dominic had a full-time chef. Though, everything about his life was impressive to her. How could it not be? Dominic really lived better than the rest and in that aspect, Kiera was going to enjoy her month with him. But some things were certainly going to be difficult about this lifestyle... Like the fact that she had already found announcements about their marriage online.

Her hand reached up and rubbed the center of her forehead. She was lucky enough that the people she surrounded herself with were either late sleepers or in entirely different time zones. It meant that she had some time to figure out what to tell them when they discovered the news.... Well, if they discovered the news. Kiera was going to try and remain hopeful that they somehow would not see it at all but glancing at the news articles made her doubt she would be that lucky.

Kiera bit on her bottom lip for a moment before glancing back at the chef. Well, now definitely was not the time to bring up their arrangement. Though she was curious about how he was going to break the news to his parents if he had not done so yet, maybe she could take some tips from him. Her eyes lifted back up as he mentioned the boat. Unfortunately, Kiera had only caught the back end of what he was saying. "Yes, that sounds great." She told him as she set her phone down.

A small hum escaped from Dominic as he slowly nodded his head. He was glad that Kiera was rolling with the punches, it made everything in his life a bit easier. As he wasn't quite sure what to do with himself if he had ended up marrying a woman who was going to nag about him having to work and not spend time with her after just getting married. Raising his cup of coffee to his lips, Gio took a small sip before glancing down at his plate as he picked at it and ate slowly.

Then, when he was done eating, Dominic turned towards Kiera once more. "Since it's already nine, I should be heading out." He told her, feeling a little bit bad about ditching her so soon. "Do you want me to drop you off somewhere on my way to work?" Dominic asked once he saw that Kiera had finished eating her breakfast. Glancing to the side, Dom watched as Mari-Anna was busying herself with the dishes. A quiet hum coming from the older woman as she tried to give the young couple some alone time.

When he glanced back towards Kiera, a small teasing smirk slowly displayed along his lips. "Unless you're too tired from last night? Then you're welcome to go back to bed." Dominic murmured in a low sultry tone. His eyes glancing once more towards the housekeeper and couldn't help the small shake of his shoulders as he barely heard the older woman's quiet swear in Italian as she tried to ignore the young couple. The older woman was like a mother figure to Dom, so when he gets to tease the older woman, he does his best to get on her nerves.

The young woman shook her head a bit, giving him a warm smile. "No, I am just going to stay in today, but thank you." The truth was, Kiera didn't have anywhere to go. No work and school didn't start for another few weeks. Plus, it wasn't like she was going to go see anyone before she knew if they were going to find out or not about the engagement. "You just go and have a good day at work, okay?" Kiera reached out and took his hand into hers, squeezing it gently.

A warm blush came over the woman's face as Dominic mentioned last night and she noticed the older woman mumble under her breath, having heard it as well. Kiera wasn't quite sure if he was trying to tease her or the woman but either way, she squeezed his hand again. "I think I will do that." So murmured to him. "Now just go to work so you can come back to me soon, okay?"

Kiera released Dominic's hand before she got up from the table and set her plate down besides the sink where Mari-Anna was working. "Thank you." She said warmly before turning and making her way up the stairs. It seemed that she was going to have the day to herself and Kiera was going to have to find something to do.

Leaving Kiera home alone was the last thing that Dominic wanted to do, but he really had no choice. As the CEO of a mega-company, he really couldn't afford to randomly take days off out of the blue. If he was a CEO of any other company, maybe, but not with security. So, when he has a meeting to go to, he has to make sure he's fucking there. Who knows what could happen if the wrong thing is said by one of his employees. He has to make sure things are going his way. So, to the meeting, he goes,

Three hours later, and it's later than what Dominic wanted. It was one in the afternoon and he was pretty sure the sun was going to be beating down on them, but Don didn't care. He told Kiera his plans for the day, so he was going to stick to them. Pulling into his garage, Dominic pulled off his sunglasses and put them away before heading inside. He needed to change and he wasn't really sure if he remembered to have someone bring Kiera her things yet.

"Babe?" Dominic called out as he walked into his house. Mari-Anna wasn't here, he knew because she only made them breakfast and dinner are during the week, then cleaned/grocery shopped on Fridays. Moving more into the house, Dominic let out a small sigh as he slowly walked towards the living room, only to pause as he spotted Kiera on the couch. "Hey," Dominic said as a greeting as he slowly shoved his hands into his pockets. "Uh, did we ever grab your things from your apartment?" Dom asked, wanting to know if he fucked up or not.

Kiera couldn't say that she had done much that day. Once Dominic left, Mari-Anna was gone soon after so she had the house to herself with nothing to do. She roamed around for a while, curious as to what was there as well as wanting to get used to the place that she would be living in. But once Kiera made it back downstairs and found the living room, she had settled in and stayed there for most of the day, just binge watching away. The stress of worrying about her parents finding out started to melt with each episode, no longer allowing her to think about it.

Her eyes lifted up when she heard her name get called out. She was quick to move up into a sitting position, dusting off the crumbs from the chips she had eaten. As well as smoothing out her hair. Dominic had come in by the time she had closed up the chip bag and threw it to the side. Luckily for her, she had gotten ready that morning so she didn't look like a mess.

"Hi, sweetie." Kiera responded, smiling at him softly. "No, we haven't. I packed a bag for two days but I'll have to go back at some point." She ran a hand through her hair before glancing off to the side for a moment before looking back at him. "Did you have a good day at work?"
