“Maybe. Got an address?” Seonghwa asked. Once Yeosang gave it to him, he smiled, “thanks Yeo. I will head over to talk to him now. I’ll keep you updated.” Seonghwa said before hanging up. He changed clothes before leaving his apartment and heading towards Jay’s.

Jay had finished getting out of the shower after coming back from Soyeon's. He knew that she went for a run to cool off, knowing that either her mom or dad may have pissed her off by telling her to find a mate. He would have loved to be her mate, because they knew each other in and out, but he wasn't going to get in the way of her true mate being with her. Jay finished putting on his shirt when he heard a knock on his door. He went downstairs and opened it, seeing the wolf from last night. "Why are you here and how the fuck did you find me?" He said, instantly getting protective of Soyeon.

“I found out from someone that you are Soyeon’s best friend.” Seonghwa said. He could tell the boy was nervous. “Listen. I’m not here to cause any problems, I just wanted to ask you a couple questions about Soyeon.”

Jay looked at him with a glare. "Sounds stalkerish don't you think? And why do you want to know about her?" He said not budging from his place.

“I think I’m her mate, I know that sounds weird but I felt a spark last night when we made eye contact.” Seonghwa said.

"Fuck!" Jay mumbled to himself. "She's is going to kill me." He said and rubbed his face. "Come in." He sighed and moved away from the door.

Seonghwa walked in, giving him a bow. “Thank you.” He said as walked in and sat down.

"Look I'm just doing this because you're her mate, but choose your questions wisely. I'm very protective of her and I'm not going to give out every detail about her." He said and sat down at the table. "What do you want know about her?"

“Why doesn’t she want a mate? I thought she might have just felt the spark but ignored it because it was me, I know our clans recently became on good terms again..” Seonghwa said.

Jay sighs. "Soyeon is very independent. She always has been. She doesn't want to be with someone only to treat her like she's isn't capable of being anything than a domestic bitch or be taken advantage of. Ever since Alpha Jonghyun announced that he needed a successor to take over the pack. And the only way a wolf can be that is to marry his only daughter, so men have been going after her trying to make her their mate so they have the title." He informed her an then sighed again. "She didn't tell me that she felt something, but the way she was going off about you last night, and not in a good way, makes me think that she may have felt it but not say anything. Soyeon doesn't trust your clan either so, you have your work cut out for you."

“Well, I can say I wouldn’t treat her like that. I understand the independence thing, I am the same way, recently I only began thinking that maybe there was a mate out there for me and honestly I was going to give up all hope until I met Soyeon last night.” Seonghwa said with a sigh. “Thank you for allowing me to speak to you.” He said.

Jay looked at him and sighed. "She's probably going to kill me for telling you this, but she went for a run and to hunt. She usually does that when she is upset, but if you go a little north from here, you may be able to see her. For your own discression, I wouldn't reveal yourself to her or talk to her if you don't want to get your dick cut off."

“Well, I guess I’ll go in my wolf form so she won’t realize it’s me, cause if she sees me in my human form, she’ll know.” Seonghwa sighed. “Thank you again, Jay.” He bowed as he headed towards the door.

"Good luck man." Jay said and sighed, before closing his door.

Soyeon was at the hunting field that belonged to her pack, finishing eating her lunch that she preyed on and killedm. She was proud of herself because she was able to capture the biggest Antelope she's ever seen. After she finished eating, leaving only the carcass leftover, she moved towards the lake to clean up. She shifted back into her human form and sat down by the edge of the lake, looking at her reflection.

Seonghwa had went to the woods before changing into his wolf form. He went into the direction of where Soyeon would be and saw her change into her human form as she sat by the lake. He decided to keep as a wolf form though so he wouldn’t scare her.

Soyeon dipped her hands into the water and splashed her face since it was covered with blood from her meal. She then sat there with her feet in the water looking down her lap. Soyeon was still upset with her parents. "Why can't they see that I don't need a mate and that I could be a great leader." She said to herself sadly.

Seonghwa stood behind the trees in his wolf form, watching her. He noticed how sad she looked and wanted to go to her but didn’t want to reveal himself to her, just in case.

Soyeon could sense someone nearby. She let out a low growl before getting up from her spot and looked around. "I know you're here." She called out.

Seonghwa walked out from his hiding spot, as he walked over to her, bowing his head.

Soyeon growled under her breath when saw the person in their wolf form. She felt that same spark she felt the night before when she saw Seonghwa last night, knowing that the wolf was him. Soyeon didn't want to acknowledge that felt that spark, because she didn't want to admit that she found her mate, which she didn't want one. "Why are you here and how did you find me?"
