Peter smiled as she left and nodded, he then headed in to chat with Mr Dawson. He talked freely about that Grace was from Peter's publisher and was after a faster way to contact him. Peter was intrigued and a little flattered, that she'd gone to the effort of tracking down his lawyer.

Grace drove herself home. She was feeling a little excited she got to meet him and wondered if she wants like get another chance to speak with him.

Peter continued to talk with his lawyer for awhile longer, before wrapping up their discussion. He headed back to his place, his thoughts on Grace, and how she'd tracked him down.

He spent the next few days obsessing over it, no one had gone to that much effort to find him, to meet him. He kept picturing her sitting there, waiting, so graceful, and so polite to allow his plow to continue. He sighed as he sent his lawyer an email, telling him to let her know to meet him for lunch, if she was interested.

The next few days Grace focused on work but her mind wondered if she would get the chance to meet Peter/John again. She looked at her computer when she got an email. A little surprised she responded quickly. “Sure when and where?” She sent back

Peter's lawyer arranged for them to have lunch at a nice place, that was small and not well known. It was a place Peter rather liked, and he was hoping to gauge, and discuss with her, about keeping the circle small. He hated, no dreaded the idea of his true identity, and who his Lawyer was getting out to the public. What he'd managed to build, his quiet little life, would have to be uprooted and moved elsewhere

Grace agreed but was nervous. She would have to make sure she looked nice. Hoping that he wasn’t upset with her; she was just a big fan of his but she wouldn’t cross any lines. She knew was a private person.

Peter was glad that she agreed to meet, he was just nervous of what all this could mean. When the day came, he dressed tidily, and checked himself in the mirror before heading out of his home. He made his way towards the place, having booked a table, for lunch.

Grace was nervous as she got ready. She hoped he wasn’t upset with her. That would be horrible if her favorite author didn’t like her or thought she was some stalker. Butterflies filled her stomach as she got ready. Once she was finished, she headed to her car. She took a breath once she got there. She then went inside, giving the hostess her name and she takes her to the table.

Peter was already sitting at the table waiting when Grace arrived. He had booked a nice secluded table outside the small café. He smiled as she was brought to the table. He got up and waited for her to be seated. He looked her over, still doing mental calculations about the situation in his head. He reached over, offering her his hand to shake. "Peter," he said softly.

Grace smiled at him. She shook his hand. “Nice to meet you once again” she said before taking her seat. She was a little surprised that he gave her his actual name this time. The waitress got our drink orders. She orders an iced tea.

Peter smiled and ordered a coffee. He looked across at her, "Nice to meet you again," he said softly. He watched her, "I suppose my first question, for you, the main one, is have you told anybody?" he asked.

Grace watched him. “I haven’t told a soul about it” she said. “And I wouldn’t” she adds as she takes a sip of her tea. She wondered how he felt about her knowing.

Peter nodded and smiled, "good, I'm glad it means I don't have to pack up and move," he said softly. He sipped his coffee, and watched her, "so I bet you have alot of questions," he stated

Grace nodded as well. “That’s a good thing” she said as her eyes traced over his face. “I do. Is there any reason you wanted to keep your life private if I may ask” she said

Peter smiled and watched as she looked over him. "There is, I don't like being bothered, or treated differently, how would I be able to write real stories if I didn't experience the real world," he said matter of factually.

“That makes sense” Grace said as she took another sip of her tea. “Who all knows about your identity?” She then asked, curious mainly.

Peter thought for a moment, "I think two people, you and my lawyer," he said lightly. He looked at her, "everything Is owned through a separate name, or my Trust," he told her

Grace nodded thoughtfully. “I promise it’s safe with me” she said, hoping to reassure him. It was dream that she was talking to her favorite lawyer. She figured that he would not want to see her again. It was nice having lunch.

"Good I hoped so," he said lightly. He looked her over thinking again, "would you want to show me the city, and stuff, being so secretive makes it hard to experience things, you normally do with friends" he admitted,

Grace was a little surprised by what he asked her but she was happy to. “Of course. There is a lot of neat places around here” she said sweetly to him. She loved the idea of spending more time with him.
