I couldn't find a thread like this. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
But, we have a "biggest weakness" thread, so why not one of the opposite?
What are your biggest writing strengths? It can be anything...whatever you think comes easy to you, and you think you're good at it.

    Mine would be:
    - Coming up with original story plots.
    - Creating characters that differ from each story.
    - Writing in all points of view. Not to brag, but I think I do a pretty damn well job writing in all three points of view. I love 2nd person, though. Even if I don't mean to, I end up writing in it. I just love bringing the reading in more...making them feel like the narrator is talking to them.

I think I do well coming up with original plots and with putting orginal twists on "tried&true" plots.

I think I do well with sex scenes.

My gory descriptions in "Trapped" are stuff I'm quite proud of.

I'm pretty good I think at descriptions, and capturing emotions. I could still use improvement, but I still think I'm pretty good.

I'm also a self-proclaimed cliffhanger queen. And I can do a lot of twisty stuff.

I think I'm pretty good at building a strong original fiction character and keeping their personality intact throughout the plotline.

And, I'm good with twists. My mind works in weird ways.

I guess I'm quite good with mataphors and discriptions.
Also I think I'm doing pretty well regarding original plots.
And that's all I can think of for now.

I also think I'm able to convey dark emotions without sounding too melodramatic pretty well.

Confusing the living fuck out of people and myself...apparently =/
I'd like to say my plotlines are original, but yet deep within their ownselves they're cliche.
With poetry, I like my ryhming skills. With stories, I think I'm pretty strong with falling apart without really falling apart and putting a lot of emotion into something really simple, or making sex scenes a lot more than sex.
Other than that, I'm not too sure what I'm sure of yet.

I was born to write tragedy. :tehe: So I can do emotions well, in the genres where it matters.
And I can work well with any POV.
And when I'm in the mood, I come up with good metaphors and description and atmosphere and such.
And I seem to have a knack for repeating lines and flashbacks for emphasis.

Um...I suck at self-assessment. So if I've got any strengths, someone needs to tell me.

I think I'm able to convey a lot of emotion and meaning in a short amount of time.
Also I think I'm good with description of scenes and managing real emotions.

I can come up with pretty good, and original plots. The only problem for me, is getting the chapters down on paper the way I want them to be.

I also feel that I do my best writing in 3rd person POV.

I like my titles too. :tehe:

And Sara told me in a review before that my biggest strength was how I make everything so real. I guess that's it.

    Titles for one-shots.
I'm average / not so great at most other things.
When I put my mind to it, I can describe locations fairly well.

I'd say my strength is odd humor. And I'm good with dialog, I know that for sure. I'm good with emotional scenes. Not conveying emotion as a whole, but when it comes to a really emotional scene, I'm pretty good.

I am good with description. Accourding to my mom I have control over the language which I guess means something good.
