What Stories Destroyed You To Be Written?

I could have sworn I posted in this thread already, but can't find my post.

The book where all my Narzisse collection stories come from pretty much destroyed me to write, and then I ended up going back and splitting it in half anyway to make a book dedicated to just Narzisse and my autobiographical struggle with dealing with being raped and abused.

Kings Shall be Kings: It's going badly though because I had writer's block for months between June and December and was too busy freaking out about what my boyfriend would think of it to actually think about the plotline. Now I have a deadline for it and it's really stressful trying to get these last ten chapters finished. I am actually looking forward to the rewrite. That seems easy in comparison because I have stuff to work with when I go back, whereas these last ten chapters I have absolutely nothing since I haven't written anything out yet.

Well, not so much for me, but I once wrote a pretty good story about a girl with bulimia and anorexia. I never posted it on here. I did my research and stuff to make sure I had 90% of the things accurate. It was emotional in some chapters, but I pulled through without crying or anything. Haha

I wanted to start a story based on a personal experience of mine, too, but I don't think anyone would really care and therefore I'll keep it to myself. It's quite depressing actually. I don't know.

It was somewhat difficult writing Hush, Hush.

If I remember correctly, I think I wrote about half of it, then became very emotional and had to stop. I didn't come back to it until several days later because it was just too depressing and I felt so strongly for the female character, Anita, and really empathised with how she was feeling, having been through a similar situation myself.

Bus was really hard for me to finally finish. Every time I wrote another chapter, I had to recuperate. I was so lost when I first started that story, and it's painful for me to go back and re-read all of my fumbling attempts at creating something coherent. Facepalm It was difficult to end because I was stuck in between several endings, caught between giving Doug a happy ending or making him even more miserable, and eventually I just decided to throw him a bone and not close the story with him wallowing around in even more self-pity. He's so similar to me that it scares me to think that I might end up like him someday, and I think that's why it was overall hard for me to write his story. I tend to get hung up on little things like he does, and putting him through so much crap was my way of taking out anger on myself. Or something. Shifty

The original plot line for I'm Not Crazy and the last chapter of a very old story of mine. It's not on Mibba anymore.
A story I am currently writing, Shame, is also proving extremely difficult and exhausting.

I had a crazy crush on Dylan O'Brien for the longest time, but was too scared to write a story for him for some reason. I finally couldn't take it anymore when I got the idea for Fall of Rome and knew it fit him perfectly. His sweet face was just calling my name XD
