I'm going to nudge into the thread and say that I am so incredibly excited for the new album. Wow I love the guys, and can't to see what they've moved onto now. I've only heard The Last Fight so far, but I loved it, and the rest of the album should be killer!

I'm really excited about seeing them at Download as well! I'm more than happy to miss some of AC/DC's slot to see them live again. They're amazing! In Love

^ The whole album's streaming on their myspace if you want to hear it. Cute
Feel free to pop in more often, this thread isn't terribly active. XDD

@ Nat. The pre order bundle is a messenger bag, collectors box edition of Fever (whatever that means) and a tshirt. I think there's one other thing too, but I can't think off the top of my head. I'm lucky that it coinsides with my birthday otherwise I wouldnt be able to afford it myself. I'm a bit annoyed that they didn't do it in a girls bundle, as I hardly wear guys tshirts anymore, but I'm sure I'll find some use for it.

I have a feeling A Place Where You Belong is single material. It has that Tears Don't Fall/Hearts Burst Into Fire feel to it. Fever is amazing! The music and melody at least, is lush. Not too sure on the lyrics, it's like Suffocating Part 2 XD I think Bittersweet Memories is also in the running for a single....

I'm confused by Pleasure And Pain. It has exactly the same music as Begging For Mercy. Shifty What's going on there...

Also, Pretty On The Outside is possibly my favourite. The screams, the melody, it's just <3 It has a liiiiittle bit of Ashes For The Innocent going on too, I think.

Don't be too down about the signing. Your mum's birthday is a perfectly good excuse and as you said, you probably had a better day XD

I'd listen to it on their myspace, but I don't have working speakers on my computer Sad

However, by the sound of things, it seems to be pretty awesome.

I was in the middle of replying to this when I heard about Darran, so naturally I wasn't in the mood to reply so I just closed my internet and went out for a while so I lost my reply. :/

Anyway. The bundle sounds pretty cool but I think I'm just going to go to Spillers on release day and buy it then.

I think so too, even though I'm not fussed on it. It does sound very single-esque.

YES. Fever is so good! And although I do think Pleasure And Pain is my favourite, it is really odd that the music is the same. :s Pretty On The Outside is love, too. <3 Can't wait for the physical copy.

Cass, I love that photo! Moose's pose is amazing, it's actually put the first smile on my face since I found out about Darran, so cheers :) Actually Padge is pretty amusing too. I'm getting a sense of deja vu from him though...

You gotta love Padge and his silly pose. XD

This probably sounds really sad. But Fever really helped me last night. I can't wait to own a physical copy.

Mooooooooooooooose pose! tehe I think a Moose pose from either of those photos will be quite acceptable. XD

Oh, that's Jay? I had an incline it was him but I wasn't sure. tehe I knew that somebody was sleeping there. tehe

Fever is released today! I can't wait to go and buy it! When is it out in Australia, Cass?

Edit: Padge thanked beer in his album thanks. And Moose encouraged everybody to drink beer in his. It did make me giggle. tehe

tehe I'm really happy with the preorder bundle, the tshirt is too big as I expected but it's not mahoosive and the design is pretty :3 And the bag is gooood, and obvs the album is amazing xD

At the gig the other night everyone started Moose chanting tehe and Moose was like, looking around wondering what to do, and he just stuck his thumb up over the drumkit and everyone cheered XD It was amazing.

They eventually chanted for everyone else too, but Moose's was the most amusing. Did anyone watch the live stream on myspace? :] It's still showing here if anyone wants to watch it. I haven't had a chance yet, but maybe I'm on it! tehe

    Haha really? MOOOOOOOOOOOOSE :D

I haven't watched it yet, I think I might watch it tonight. :) Were you at the barrier? I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I think it was £40. I was going to go halves with my mum for it but she bought the whole thing for my birthday which was nice :]

I was dead center and second from the barrier, Matt was off center so he was on my right slightly. I'll take a screen shot and circle the general area if it helps XD I'll probably watch it later too :]

I did have a perfect spot but this girl was being really selfish and was determined to get my place. She kept pushing her arm against the side of my head so I couldn't see, her elbow was jabbing into my face and my neck, and she was kicking me and stuff to get me to shove over. Kinda ruined the night for me :/ I was quite stubborn but after a while I couldn't be bothered to fight with her, so gave her a good kick out of spite and shuffled on my way xDD But she was taller than me too, and I ended up being behind this person who I couldn't really see around, because she wanted to be behind this super short person who I was standing behind.

I reeeeaallly had an urge to punch her, actually, that's never happened to me before. Shifty She was just being really out of order, but it was like that a lot. I was talking to some guy after the show who said he thought the friendly crowd vibe just wasn't there either. :/

That's nice of her. I totally wouldn't be able to afford £40, so I would have bought just the CD either way.

    Thank you! <3

OH MY GOD PEOPLE LIKE THAT AT GIGS DO MY HEAD IN. I was in literally the same situation as you when I saw Lacuna Coil. I wasn't in the middle, I was to the left, but I had a really good view and then this knob was coming through shoving everybody out of the way. So I gave him a good shove and he had a go at me. Grr Well, excuse me, you were in the wrong first. He buggered off out of that, though. I nearly punched him though.

Haha maybe a bunch of people from Manchester travelled down for the gig. I'm really not being funny but Mancunian Bullet fans are generally a pile of dickheads. My mate saw Bullet at the start of 2008 and said the crowd were rude and unresponsive, and at the end of 2008 I saw them in Manchester, and l I guess I've gone on enough about that gig. I've been to a lot of gigs in Manchester but there was a pretty unfriendly vibe from the crowd at that gig that I hadn't really experienced at another gig before then. :s

Aside from the selfish dickhead girl, you had a good time though? :) How much did they play off Fever?

They played quite a lot of the new stuff. At least half the album. :] I can see the girl who was in front of me a lot, but not me :/ I was just in front of that sign you can see on the left when the camera's panned out. And yeah, I suppose I had a good time. I've had better, I've had bullet shows where I've left feeling lighter than air, but that girl really ruined the show for me, and I was so tired from the early start which didn't help.

Yeah, people did travel from around so maybe there were tehe I'll blame them, haha.

Watching back the video, I'm actually quite annoyed. They used a ridiculously obvious amount of backing tracks, what the hells up with that? Okay so I understand the video was being recorded for myspace but even so... it's just wrong |: I didn't notice at the show, but it's painfully obvious on the recording, and I think it makes it sound worse not better. Ugh |:

That's cool. :) I've still not watched the live stream but I plan to soon. :)

Haha yes. Let's blame them. Con I'm excited to see them play Cardiff, especially since it's a hometown show. :)

Really? Backing tracks how so? Were they miming the instruments at some points? Kind of odd if they were doing that. Think

I edited my post as you posted, haha. tehe

    A lot of it is vocals, you can really tell on the second song they play, higher melodies and such, but apparently on the bullet forums someone said they heard drum beats when Moose wasn't actually playing... I'm not too sure. But it's silly, I understand for strings and intros, and things that can't be reproduced on stage, but I hate them used otherwise ;__;

It was still worth you going though, right? Even though it wasn't the best one you've been to? Arms

If you fancy coming to the Cardiff show then you're more than welcome to come down for it. I'll have a proper room with space for a fold-out bed on my floor so the offer is there if you fancy.

Oh wow, really? That's really strange, I wonder why they did that. I always thought the point of live shows was to see the band live. If I wanted to listen to a recording then I'd listen to my CD. D:

Yeah, it was worth it I think. Maybe to have a bad experience so the next ones better. tehe

Thank you. Cute I'll definitely think about it if I have enough money to travel, to be honest I think it would be nice to see them out of the super sized and manic gigs in London.

Yeah, it is, it really bothers me when bands do it. That's exactly the point! You go to a live show to see a band at their most natural, slip ups and all... silly bullet.

    This is really off topic and semi-personal, but how do you afford to go to gigs at uni? Is it from your student money or do you have a job on the side? I'm really worried I won't be able to afford a lot of gigs unless I find a job there, and even then my course is really intensive so I don't know if I'll find the time for work anyway. ;__;
