Exactly. I get that at gigs sometimes.

Of course, if you can afford it then you're more than welcome of course. I'd expect them to play at the Great Hall (1500 capacity). Personally I think they could play bigger but I don't think they'd be able to sell enough tickets for them to play at the CIA. Think

Yeah. Maybe next time they won't do that though. Fingers crossed. :D

Oh it's fine I don't mind being asked. I use my student loan. But I'm not exactly a big spender to begin with. I literally only use my loan to pay for food and gigs. But saying that, I've got about £3000 (slightly under) still left in this year's student loan, and all payments (such as accomodation fees, tuition fees) have been taken out. So I do think you'll be able to afford gigs. :) Saying that though, I don't go to many expensive gigs these days. It's rare I'll pay over a fiver to get into a gig. But you should be okay. :) Arms

Sorry, I haven't been online properly in a few days!

That's good to know, thank you. Arms I'm so worried about not being able to do all the things I want to it's unbelieveable.

As long as you're careful you have no reason why you can't go to loads of gigs if you so wish :)

    Ugh, Arena tour.

    UK Tour- December 2010:

    Mon 6th Dec BIRMINGHAM, NIA

    Wed 8th Dec MANCHESTER, MEN

    Thurs 9th Dec GLASGOW, SECC

    Sat 11th Dec CARDIFF, CIA

Sun 12th Dec LONDON, WEMBLEY ARENA

I am not best pleased, but whatever rocks their boat. If this is the only tour they do for the next two years I officially do no know what they are thinking.

I was literally just on my way to whinge about this tour.

I DO NOT WANT THEM TO PLAY ARENAS Sad

I really don't like big shows, I know I have to go and see them live but I just feel really sad because I'd prefer to see them somewhere smaller than the CIA, maybe the Great Hall or something. The Great Hall is still big, but the CIA really overwhelms me. There's been a few shows there that I wanted to go to, but didn't because I don't like big venues. I even sold my Lostprophets ticket because I really didn't want to go to the arena. I was petrified when I saw Slipknot at the MEN, I'm scared it'll be something similar.

And I quite agree. In 2011 they'll probably go to America and tour everywhere there.

I hate bigger shows too. Sad These days if the venues bigger than about 500 capacity and I'm not at the barrier I just can't enjoy myself. Maybe I'm just getting old and everyone else is getting taller, but being crushed to death and just being able to hear a band and not see them live doesn't do it for me anymore.

I've been to Wembly Arena a couple of times. I saw Paramore there most recently and I almost had a panic attack because I was surrounded by people at least a foot taller than me on eachside. I kind of just stuck my head down and lost myself in my head because I didn't want to ruin if for the people I was with, because they were enjoying themselves and I know they wouldn't have just let me walk out alone... it wasn't a nice experience.

Alexandra Palace wasn't too bad because I was at the barrier (some how) but I did lose my hearing for about a week because I was right opposite the amps.. it wasn't a great location. If I hadn't got there as early as I did I would have been screwed.

I'll go, but I might not enjoy it... It depends. I'm really losing my hope with bullet, they're changing so much and I can't keep up and don't like most of it.

    Me too.

I think it's down to what happened to me at the Skindred gig. I'm petrified of it happening again. I'm cool to stand at the side but I still don't like it if it's a huge crowd of people.

But yeah I completely agree. I much more enjoy gigs when I can stand to the side and still see perfectly, and then have a chat and drink with the band afterwards.

    How big is Wembley?

I think I'll go to the CIA gig. I'll book a seated ticket though.

I'm losing hope with them too. I don't want to, but I can't help it.

Yeah :c I never used to be picky but after going to a lot of smaller shows and meeting bands who are soso lovely, it just doesn't compare.

Wembley is about 12,000 I think... not sure on the seating to standing ratio mind. I could barely even see the screens though, let alone the band, and we weren't even that far back. I'm tempted to get a seat myself. Tickets are £25 too |:

Yeah. I think going to smaller shows hasn't really helped my fear.

The worst thing is that it's Hard Rock Hell on the Saturday and I might be going to that...:(

Tickets are £20 seated for the CIA, £22.50 standing.

    Hmm :/

Yeah, it's £22.50 at Wembley, before postage and handling costs and what not.

I'm not feeling terribly enthusiastic about it... I think it might make or break my relationship with bullet, as much as I hate to say it. I just... I love them so much, but I don't like what they've turned into.

Nice theme, by the way. I don't know what's happening at the moment with all these rockstar deaths, and he was about to have a child too. Sad

Yeah. I'm sure it'd be more at the CIA, but I'm getting mine from the box office, so I won't be paying any fees.

Me neither. I have to go and see them, but I'm nervous. :|

I know. It's so sad. Sad

    By the way:

I did not enjoy the viking comments, seeing as how many favourite bands of mine fall into that category, but I did like Moose's comment about his balls. Nice to see he's wearing that grey hat...again XD

EDIT: The video's been taken down? Either way the youtube code thing doesn't seem to be working.

    I can't see the video D:

Kay, so I'm having a bit of a panic. Don't know if I have £60 in my account for the tickets (yes, it came to £60!)... don't want to not buy them because I can't not go, but don't want my mobile contract to bounce (as the money comes out of my account tomorrow) and make me have to pay extra. UGH. For some reason I can't log in to my online banking and all this trouble would be solved!!!! D: D: D: D:

I just came here to say that I'm not a Bullet fan, but I saw their video for Wake the Demon on Kerrang! for the first time today, and thought it was pretty osm. tehe

I couldn't help but read your guys' comments on the arenas- I've been to the CIA, and it's nowhere near as big as the 'proper' arenas like Wembley. So you don't have to be nervous about getting squished/trampled/killed there.

Uh, yeah. I'll go now. XD

I've already been to the CIA, it'll be my third time there :)

I booked my ticket, Amy! It's seated, I think this will be better because of my crowd anxiety. Did you get standed or seated?

I got standing. I'm going to give it one last shot, if I hate it then next time bullet tour I'll get seating (yeah, when I'm old and grey), and if I still hate it then I might have to give up on them.

But, thanks to those tickets, I am officially skint. (Y)

How much did your tickets cost? Mine was £20, but I did get mine from the box office. I've got kind of a crappy seat, but at the end of the day, for me it's better off than being in the crowd. I had an exam this morning so obviously I couldn't get them as soon as they went onsale.

Yeah, I'm extremely stubborn and refuse to say no to standing just yet, heh. I'll see how it goes, but I'm definitely getting worse. |:

It was £60 for two, only about £45 for the tickets and the rest of it was for all the extra buying online rubbish. I swear it's getting more expensive to order tickets, it used to be a couple of pounds at most and now it's over a tenner? Ugh.

I know. It sucks. Ticket prices are going up.

I live at the Barfly where gigs are rarely over a fiver, so to pay £20 for a ticket seems really bad for me.

I hate booking fees. You don't even get them back if the show gets cancelled. Disgust

M'kay so I'm just gonna jump in here and say I freaking LOVE their new album. Best one yet, I have to say. Bit obsessed with it right now, too.

I wish they would play USA soon. They need to come back to Iowa like NOW.

EDIT: By the way...anyone willing to cowrite with me a BFMV fanfic? I update fairly quickly, and I'm willing to be flexible with storylines and such. Just send me a message. Kthxbai Smile
