Lately a lot of my stories (posted and unposted) have been in present tense. It's just what I start writing them in and it seems to work.

Most of mine are written in past. I've written a couple in present, and it felt weird. I like either or really.

When I write I tend to write in Past Tense, however, it depends on which Person I'm speaking in.

i've been writing a lot of present tense lately. Half of Cotton Candy was present tense. This Has Your Name Written All Over It and 9 Months is a Long Time are both present tense.

I've just been digging it lately. I think it's the way I'm writing stories currently, very moment-in-time and narrative straight for a person's head... it's just better to have it happening at this moment.

I write in both, but at the moment I seem to be writing a lot in present tense. Dunno why. It just seems to flow easier.

I normally write in past tense because for me, it's easier to spot my mistakes, and it lets me portray memories without getting confused. tehe

Right now I'm writing a story in present tense.

In the pieces that I've been working on that are unposted, I've been writing in present tense without noticing.

But normally, I write in third.

I think you're getting tense and narrative mixed up...

I prefer past tense, however I have written a successful piece of writing in present tense.

I mostly write in present nowadays.
I prefer it as a reader too because it makes me feel more involved.

I've noticed I always write in past tense. I think you would be cool to do a future tense, but I'd probably mess up. XD

I mostly write in present tense, but I always drift and try so hard not to. But then keep finding tiny little changes and I'm just like Grr people always point it out to me tehe

I tend to write in present tense if it's in first person, and I change to past tense when I'm writing in third. Think

I write in past tense, because it's easier for me. Though I don't mind present.

I write in both past and present tense... Usually it's the way the first few sentences or descriptions that will later become a story materialize in my head, but sometimes I'll change the original tense to make it flow with the words I'm using. If that makes sense. I like present tense because of the immediacy; I like run-on sentences and emotion spilling out of my characters' heads, but I've done it in past tense too. I guess I'm a fan of both tenses. :3

I used to write in past tense, but I now always write in present. I find it much easier, especially when I need to write about something that happened to a character in the past.

    Normally, I write in past.
Except for two or three one-shots, which turned out hideously. XD
I do slip into present when I'm writing past, which is really annoying.

I learned a lot of my writing skills from reading Stephen King. He tends to use present tense (in italics) for dreams and things of that nature. But most novels are written in past tense, and so that's what I use. I don't really like stories in present tense.
