My love for classical music goes beyond imagination. As Beethoven said, "It takes man to a higher level of understanding." It saddens me though how the youth of this era don't appreciate classical music anymore. I listen to genres from classical to death metal, but I still think it's good to at least appreciate where music started from: Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Chopin...

Everything about the word 'classical' is just right.

There are certain pieces that just...blow me away.
    Some symphonies are just beautiful.
I can't even begin to describe.

I can sit and listen for a good hour and then when the piece finishes, I wonder where the time has gone.
But for those minutes when I'm listening to all my favourites, there is not sense of time. And I'm just a floating presence...nothing more.

I agree completely. In my school band everyone groans when we get anything other than show-tunes, and it's rather disheartening.

I'm in LOVE with The Four Seasons by Vivaldi. In Love

    I couldn't agree more.

Last night I was listening to Debussy and wondering how some of friends proclaim they "hate" classical music. Classical music makes me think more clearly, if that can happen but it does. When I'm listening to classical music I feel more calm, tranquil and I somehow connect with the notes more empathetic than songs were a person is singing.

Classical music is just beautiful. In Love

I love Debussy, Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Bartók and some others. I don't get how some people say they don't like classical music because it's so old, but then go all "I love the 80s". And not all composers died in 18th century.

I love classical music. In Love My mom made me watch a recital when I was a little girl and they featured music from Mozart, and ever since then I fell in love with classical music.
    My favorite never changes: Beethoven.

I am in love with Chopin =]
But he has very big hands.. =|

Beethoven is always full of surprises, I play mozart for a bit of fun, and when i'm feel down because it always makes me feel bouncy and light.

I also really like WATCHING people play Lizst's La Campella because it's so facinating.
Uhhh I don't like to play it tho because it hurts :S

    Tschaikovsky (can't spell) is magical.

    Ahhh... I love classical =]

I remember when I was little my grandma would give me classical music CDs, I would listen to them a lot.

Now I play the cello, so I still hear a good share of classical music, it can be so gorgeous. Mozart's Requiem is beautiful. In Love

I agree with most of all of the above ^
But not many people are mentioning contemporary classical artists like Ludovico Einadudi Image
    He's good beyond words.

I love Barber, Beethoven, Bartok and a bunch of neoclassical composers.

Neoclassical music is underappreciated. Composers like Ron Grainer, Delia Derbyshire, John Cage, Philip Glass and William Orbit aren't listened to nearly enough. Which is a shame, really.

I think Classical is my one true love because in reality it's in the roots of almost all music, except 'music' that was obviously before the 17th century really. Like Native American music and such, music with simple instruments.

As for current piano pieces, I'm in love with Comptine d'un autre ete from the movie Amalie. Short but inspiring. Nothing complex but I'm a fan of altissimo.

As cliche as it is, my ultimate favorite classical piece is Mozart's Requiem. All 14 pieces of it.
I feel my heart break every time <3

Classic is nice, but by 'classic' I mean music from the classic era. Baroque all the way! JOhann Sebastien Bach is love! (From the same person who said that about Slipknot. Yes, you read that right XD)
