Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen.
The sarcasm and wit and humour....I love it. She stands up for what she believes in, even if it doesn't go along with the culture of the times. That totally would have been me had I lived a few hundred years ago....and been a fictional character.

    Vanete Druse.:
The Marauders from Harry Potter. I loved Sirius and James's arrogance, and the way Remus was a bit shy and nerdy but still hung out with them anyways. I honestly can't say anything for Peter, though. Disgust
    I agree! In Love
Also, the Weasley twins, Fred and George, and Luna Lovegood. I love them all really but these three stick out the most for me.

    Seconded, for sure.

    And Lupin.
He's most likely my all time favourite Harry Potter character.

I'm reneging you. She's just much too perfect.

There's this book by Gustave Flaubert. And its title is Madame Bovary, and the main character is a woman called madame Bovary, and she's the wife of a wealthy yet plain country doctor and she feels unloved and tries to escape in novels, then to turn her life into a novel.
Sadly she commits suicide at the end.
But I really love her. I wish I could jump in the novel and save her. Or at least tell her that I love her, she seems to need it. It frustrates me that I can't.
An other favorite character is don Quixote. He's just... I adore him, again I wish I could talk to the character more than anything. He's just what I want to be, only different, better in a way, this is not just some kind of sick fantasy. I really love them both the same way you'd love a friend you know nothing of now, but who used to be your best friend a long time ago.

I reallyreallyreally need to find time to reread those books.

Lena Kaligaris from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series.
Because she's nothing like me, but the second she realizes that Kostas broke her heart, I was so able to relate to her.

And today, Jacob Black, from the Twilight Saga.
Because I know what it's like to have a 'Bella', when they've already got an 'Edward'.

Mine's mainly from Maximum Ride. :shifty

Max - ....She's just too awesome. :XD
Fang - I'm just a sucker for the dark, slight mysterious type. Mainly because my personality's pretty much similar to it. I've actually grown to love how he looked in the mahwa adaptation (mainly because he looks a hell of a lot like Yu Kanda from D.Gray Man :tehe:)
Iggy - There's just something about this blind-pyromaniac-guy-who-makes-bombs-and-can-cook-ness that makes me love him. In Love

My new favorite characters are Eponine and Javert, both from Les Miserables.
I just really relate to Eponine because she's always in the background and never really gets to help out as much as she'd like. I felt so sorry for her when she ended up forgotten by everyone else even though she was so noble.
Javert is my all-time favorite because of how complex his character is. I just really love the fact that he's really not bad, he just causes bad things to happen because he obsesses over the law so much it ends up destroying his morality. He's just so amazing to read about. In Love

Gilderoy Lockhart. :XD He's just so hilarious and clueless about how much of an idiot he is. I just find it charming. :tehe:

And Zaphod Beeblebrox, because, like Lockhart, he's so up himself and thinks he's all that. :tehe: Plus Zaphod has two heads and is President of the Galaxy. ~~

I love Samantha Madison from "All-American Girl" by Meg Cabot because she's so relatable. And I love how she first percieved art as just beauty, but then realized that it's more than that.
