So the first episode wasn't spectacular?

Well that was disappointing...

I aggree, I really didn't think much of it.

I just finished watching the first episode. The first twenty minutes were really good and exciting, then it kinda just went down from there.
Cook is just as annoying as he was last season. And even though I really like Thomas' character and his story line, there wasn't enough Emily/Naomi/Katie.
Also, Pandora's changed so much. I liked her when she was fresh and innocent. She was such an original character before. Now I don't really know.
The next episode looks interesting, though.
I'm really hoping this season I could get into the characters and start really liking them. I don't know. I feel like they're just not working for me. I really really loved season 1 and 2 and I re-watch old episodes all the time. But the problem with season 3 was that nothing really happened. It was just the same old, Effy fucking everyone else up theme that I hope will change this season.

I thought last nights episode was really good!

Although the ending where Emily was sitting on the wall and just reading through that diary had me in tears.
I really can't help but dislike Naomi because she just plays poor Emily around so much (i know not on purpose but still ) and Emily is such a sweet, fragile character I just want to hug her all the time, especially when she was with her dad. And I almost wanted to like yell at the TV screen not to go back to Naomi. (I love the idea of Cook and Emily.)

But yeah, I thought it was really good. Much better than the previous episode, and the episode after looks really good, although I'm pretty sure it showed Naomi kissing Cook so I don't know what's that all about.

I really, really enjoyed last night's episode, actually!
(spoilers - ish!)

I liked the drama between Emily and Naomi, and the way that despite everything, Emily's going to give Naomi another chance. It's a realistic relationship, and is trying to survive through flaws, and it'll be interesting to see how it develops and whether it ends/continues in the next few episodes.
And the confession from Emily's dad! N'aww! I just wanted to hug him! And nice to see that Katie is still as big a bitch and as selfish as ever!
And I really liked that girl's brother, the Matt guy? I thought he was really...intriguing. I'd like to know a bit more about the relationship he had with his sister, purely because it would make sense as to why he's all...weird. I mean, I know his sister just killed herself, but even so. Incredibly close, right?!

For me though, my favourite part was definately Cook, and his actually revealing to be human. The part about how you just have to let it burn, and then when he goes out of the bathroom and see's Freddie and Effie kissing, so he let's his jealousy show...I was almost bawling. Poor Cookie I just wanted to give him a hug. (I'm an insanely massive Cook fan. Dunno why, I just love him!)

Next week's episode looks incredible, though. And I think it showed Naomi kissing Cook too...what does this all mean?!

^ No idea, but I just hope it isn't like Naomi cheating on Emily (again) because urgh, I want Emily to finally be happy.
& I forgot to mention just how much I actually hate Katie and Emily's mother. -.-

The new season...not my favorite.

The last episode is more like the Skins I love, I was happy at that. Next one looks good too, we never really got a lot about Cook's family life in the last series so it looks like we might get a bit in this one.
I just hope it continues to be good. :)

The first episode of the latest serious was utter shite.
But things picked up last episode and it's Cookie's time to shine tonight.

I never really liked Cook in the first series, I thought they were trying to copy Chris's character a little[whom I loved btw] and I thought he was a bit of a prick too. After last night however I think I just fell in love.

Same! I thought he was a complete rip-off of Chris. But I loved his episode. Last season, they never showed any depth to him. He was kinda like an empty character, they never explained anything about him. But this season's episode they showed a whole other side to him, with his family and how he puts on that whole fuck-it act when he really does cares. He and Naomi were really sweet together. And I'm really glad he's stepping up and taking responsibility for his actions. But the whole part at the end with his brother made me want to cry.

I've always loved Cook. But after the lastest episode...woah. I love him even more. Aww, Cookie

Katie's episode looks good. She's such a good 'bitchy' character and I love her for it.

I just...love Cook. My Cookie

I'm interested in seeing Katie's episode. She's such a bitch, and the episode looks pretty interesting. Though I can see where she gets in from - HER MUM! I'd really like to give her a smack in the chops!

So I'm a bit behind, but I finally got my hands on series 3. And I miss the old characters. ): I mean, there's always an air of unbelieveability with teen dramas but everything's so extreme in this series. I haven't finished it (I've watched the first four, I think?) but yeah. I miss Maxxie. XD And I've decided I don't really like Effy, she's too much of a ... whore? Idk. Seems unbelieveable again, or maybe I'm just a boring teenager.

I agree with this.
I've always loathed Cook, bar his rare nice moments talking about Effy and that brief moment with JJ in his room, but the last episode was just so good.

I have to admit though. This season has been really, really crap. It's gradually getting better, but by the time it's good it'll be over :/
