Aw, I loved last nights episode. In Love
I hope this makes more people a fan of Katie now they've seen her more vulnerable side. I cried when she told her mum about being unable to have children. tehe

I also like how it showed how Naomi and Emily's relationship is just completely falling apart, and how Emily is seriously not coping well with the fact that Naomi cheated on her. I hope they do sort it out in the end (which I reckon they will) cos otherwise it's just hopeless.

I didn't really like last night's episode. Sad I felt sorry for Katie, what with her not being able to have children (although people have managed to get pregnant after going through the menopause in their 20's, even though that's not all that often, admittedly), but to be honest, the series is just becoming more and more far-fetched and just completely unrealistic in my opinion and I found it hard to get into the episode.

I hope next week's episode is better, but to be honest, I'm slowly losing all hope in Skins. Sad

And I've just found out that they're going to be having a third generation cast, for the fifth series. Oh my days Shocked

The other nights episode was alright. I think it was better than Thomas' episode but not Cook's or Emily and Naomi's, I suppose it depends on the viewer and what they like though. It was nice to see Katie's sensitvie side with her brother and with not being able to have kids though, that's what I've always liked about skins, the stuff they bring up aren't always common things, but at least they do happen and it shows things like that can happen to anyone. It's not just the normal teenage woes all the time.

I hope Freddie's episode is going to be good. I always liked Freddie but it looks like it's going to be a bit far fetched episode, what was the parade bit all about? it looked wierd.

Well Freddie's was a bit far fetched but In my opinion it was still pretty good. I say that because I haven't cried as much as I did at a skins episode since Chris died. However, Effy's not the most likeable character I must say.

JJ's will be good, I can just tell. I love JJ.

When Freddie broke down at the end, and it was Cook, of all people, that was there to help him...Cry
It was a really good episode, even though still far-fetched, as you say.

JJ's will be awesome. He's so adorable In Love

Freddie's episode hit a little close to home.

It was definitely the most emotional episode of this season, even more so than Emily's which broke my heart a little.

I actually didn't like it that much. I think it was so obvious that Effy was going to end up doing something like she did, that it wasn't as powerful as I expected/wanted it to be. However I don't like their characters either which doesn't help tehe But it wasn't awful by any means.

JJ's looks like it'll be good too, he is a sweetie. :)

    Effy's episode was just... whoa.
But I really don't get it, though. I guess like twin. said, it wasn't powerful enough. I wish they did her episode before Freddie's, just so we could see what led to the breakdown. Cause right now, it just doesn't make too much sense to me.
BUT I TOTALLY THINK TONY SHOULD COME BACK FOR HER EPISODE AND HELP HER. Who's with me? tehe
And I really liked Katie's episode. It made me like her so much more. And that line, "I'm Katie fucking Fitch, WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?" is just so epic. tehe
Right now I think Cook, Katie and Naomi are my favorite characters. I haven't seen JJ's yet though. What night is Skins on? I catch up on the episodes online cause I live in the US, but I never know when there's a new episode. Think

    Awww JJ.

He's growing up. I don't know what it is but he's just socute and geeky in a cool way. I'm not sure about that girl like but as long as he's happy. Look at me speaking like he's a real person.
Who plays JJ? He's a really good actor!

I don't like JJ's girlfriend. Something about her just strikes me as strange (the fact she has a kid being irrelevant). And what's with the father of the baby? He seems like a weird guy too Think

Again, the plot thing seems a little far fetched, what with her being a mum and everything. But I guess I've come to accept it and that new Skins is just a bit more unbelieveable.

I'm intrigued for the next episode... but Effy and her life are so over dramatic. Don't tell me she gets back with Cook... Facepalm

It kind of looks like she does by the preview Think I hope not though, especially considering everything Freddie has tried to do for her.

It also shows her running into what looks like an oncoming car, but we can only hope! (only jokingtehe)

I want to know what happens with Naomi and Emily Sad I love Emily as a character and tend to get really miffed with Naomi but I feel sorry for the both of them now. I have a feeling they'll end up together, just because if anything whoever creates the Skins storylines know that fans love them together, and also because it would be kinda wrong if they parted ways as they're probably the cutest couple on there.

Wtf was that crap? Okay so Effy's break down was pretty well done for Effy's character anyway but what the hell was that bit at the end?

Talk about far fetched! Jesus. I don't want to spoil anything but you know, that was just crazy, I know Skins do tend to do that but seriously?

Who thinks the focus will be Freddie's sister next year? They are doing a whole knew cast again but nothings decided I don't think but I think it'll be her.

^ Ooh I can't watch skins at the moment due to our Sky box breaking XD But I'm well curious to know what happens, do you think you could maybe write it in white text? tehe
(I probably will end up watching it on channel 4 OD, but I'm not to fussed about Effy so XD)

That was a little bit far fetched for skins. I mean the whole mental issue thing yes, but first off the psychology that was used! (A level abnormality speaks here). I know four different approaches to abnormality and their treatments and that wasn't a regconised treatment. Drugs yes, other thing no.
The ending?! That wasn't what I know from skins, it's lost all sense of it's realism there and tbh next weeks doesn't look much better.
For some reason it's started to go downhill; whether thats because of new casts or something else but it's starting to lose the appeal.
I guess all we can do is hope it picks up again next series but I hope that the writers will let it come to its natural end at some point.

Alrighty, I'm not great at explaining but I'll do my best...
Basically Effy was getting this messed up therapy where her psychologist made her forget everything which it then came back to her all at once making her even worse than she was to begin with and making her end up where she started, in the mental hospital. In between then she split up then got together with Freddie again because her psychologist basically told her to get rid of him. Then once they were together again the psychologist got Freddie to go to his house and beat him up at the end with a baseball bat, saying he couldn't let him have her, and I think it's safe to say he killed him, it was just totally out of context and way, way out there. Not good if you ask me.

I finally saw it. I didn't like the ending at all, I just thought it was horrible.
They had a death in the first generation of skins, they didn't need to have another.
