Holy crap, that wasn't like a nation wide thing? Wow. I thought all sex-ed teachers had the same messed up sense of humor. Basically it's just like, your ovaries, where they curve down in a 'U' shape, that's Rudolph's...antlers.

    His nose is your...well.
Don't make me say it. Sad

Nope, that really wasn't nationwide. I'd remember if my teachers compared a fictional character's bright red nose to the clitoris.

Did they discuss consent at all?
Err...I think there was a foot note saying you should get consent from the other person before performing sexual acts in the sexual risks book.

I was just curious because really good sex education should involve that, in my opinion and you said yours was good so I was curious.

i left school in 2009 and since then i have learnt more about sex through tv and the internet, then i ever did at school. i think that schools need to improve sex education. kids needs to leard not just about the basis. kids need to learn about STIs, how dangerous they are and about ALL types of contraception. learn about safe sex, not just telling boys they can get a girl pregnant but that they can catch something! i watched a documentary about porn and how some kids believe that THAT is what sex is and some watch it for education! kids should learn what porn really is, a fantasy and should learn the dangers of sexting. things need to change, so that kids can have an open talk with teachers and their parents.

Sex Ed was very limited at my high school... Mainly, it was pregnancy, STDs, and abstinence. Nothing else was really hit.

Our Sex Ed could have been an extension of our Biology classes because we didn't discuss anything else.

We've learned about the male and female body, how female menstrual cycle works, STD's and then all the birth control methods, and the pros and cons of each one, which ones were really effective and how to use them to make them more effective and avoid getting STD's at the same time.

I find it sort of funny that even though it was a Catholic school, abstinence was never seriously mentioned as a valid birth control method. I remember our teacher joked about it once, like, if you guys want to be 100% sure you won't get any STD's and won't be parents too soon you can always, you know, not have sex.

But then everybody was laughing, including the teacher File
