I had Jake. I loved him... Like, a lot... I think it wasn't at all natural how much I was dependant on him. He had to be included in everything too. A toy for me, a toy for Jake. He gradually started fading out when I hit about 9(I don't know if that seems too old to still have an imaginary friend, but he was still there:)) I still talk to thin air now, to get all my feeling and everything out... But there's no face there anymore...

    I kinda miss Jake...

    Where's Adalia?:
A lot of kids have imaginary friends when they're young. Some more normal than others...
Did you ever have any imaginary friend?
    Was it human? Or...not?
What do you remember about him/her/it?

I don't remember much about mine, except that it was a dog. It didn't stay around long, either.
Yup and all I remember was that it was a girl.

I was always the oddball of my family- All my siblings had friends but I never did because all I liked to do was read-

So I had many imaginary friends-

    People, fairies, animals-

I had an imaginary friend named Abigail. She pawned all!

But I still have the alarming habit of talking to thin air. Honestly, and this does not leave this thread.... Sometimes I swear there's someone/something following me around.

    Cause I always feel watched.

It's rather frightening. And sometimes my family will catch me talking to it. (I believe it to be male, whatever it is)

I had an imaginary friend named Rebecca.
Then we had an ally named Sari and a group of enemies whose leaders name was Gretchen.

    It was odd.

Then I had this doll that I talked to and pretended she was my sister.
My imaginary friend/talking to dolls stage ended in kindergarten though.

I had an imaginary friend up until I was ten.
Her name was Tiffany. I made her up, because I never had anyone to play with.
I used to always be blamed for everything that went wrong, so instead I used to to blame things on her.
I remember I used to go to the bar with my Grandma and we'd play pool all the time.
Then things got a little screwy and I forgot about her. Disgust

I'm sure I went through others, but that's my main one. ;)

I got an imaginary friend when I was 5.
It was around the time my dad went.
And his name was Phil (like my dad).
And he did lots of things that my dad did.
And he was magic, and if I told him bad things, he would keep them secret, and then the bad things would go away. Or so I thought.

I had an imaginary him, her and it.
    I had three.
One was a guy called george. He had blonde hair.
Another was a girl called Emily.
Then I had a kangaroo (??) called Joey.
    They've gone now.
I just found it comforting to talk to something when I was younger.

Damn, I remember I had one named Fredrick. My cousin would always "kill" him, but he had super powers so he could never die.

I was a lonely kid. I had lots and lots of imaginary friends. Or well not technically friends, just imaginary people.
Of course I still do. Plenty of them.
I just love Lizzy. She's based of Elizabeth Stendhal, thus is incredibly smart, creative, gorgeous and dead. And with huge red hair. She just sits by my side sometimes, or listens to me reading since I love to read and have no-one to read to. I think she paints sometimes.
But there are many others. Amrita's an other favorite. She's an Indian poetess who got married with a tree. It's a complicated story. She's lovely too.
I just like making up worlds when I'm lonely.

I had a fox. He didn't have a name, and he pops back every now and then when I'm very upset. I don't see him now, but I can feel him around.

After that I had a white mouse no one could see called Bruja, and a psychopathic clown called Tom. I was a strange child.

    :)

Some people call them guardian angels. I talk to mine too :-P

He's actually stopped me having panic attacks once or twice. My friend did an ouija board and tried to tell me she'd met him, but my belief doesn't stretch that far.

Who or whatever he is, he makes me feel safe. Imaginary friend, guardian angel... whatever.

    I still do. ;)
No, not really, but it's funny to act like it.

    I have an imaginary friend that's a uni-snail.
    His name is Bobert Checkers.
He is a snail with a unicorn horn and a french mustache.

But I lost him, can you let me know if you find him? Cry

I always have had a super-over-active imagination. I've had tons and tons of imaginary friends in my past. They were always human, although I believe at one point I had some imaginary pets as well. :tehe:

    I had one named Del.

Now I have one named Dice. He's a wall. He's not imaginary, though. I'm sure he's real.

    I had one named Hatchet.
    She was rad-cool.
I'm sure she still hangs around me once and a while, though, we just don't talk as much...

    What did she do?
She walked around with me, threatening people with a hatchet(thus the name). But, not innocent people, just people she though might threaten me.

    I had several imaginary friends...

One I remember was violent... and when we were talking about then as kids, I made another kid cry because I told them that my imaginary friend wanted to kill theirs... I was a violent child... :file:
And I had imginary pets. And an imaginary fairground.

I liked living in my head, it was fun.
