Because I have my friends here and despite all the negativity going on, there are a great deal of kind users on here. Even if I'm sick and in a terrible mood, there is always something on Mibba that cheers me up.

I love the way things are handled now. I remember when it was basically okay for someone to bully, bash, insult, and stalk you all over the site. Its the reason why I left. its the reason why I didnt use the journals.

I love how professional the site looks now. Before it looked like a cousin of Quizilla, now its like an older, wiser sister. Though I do wish the Knowledge Base was in a better place.

I love my friends. I can talk with them knowing they wont sink so low as to insult me if we have something we disagree on.

I love that Mibba accepts ALL writing. This started from fanfiction but now accepts so much more. Original, true, poetry, articles, etc. Its also just not for those who want to be published, its for those who are just dabbling, just for fun, and wants to gain more knowledge, too.

Because Victoria and I randomly do bizarre coincidental things around the boards that look planned, but totally aren't, like our Schweinez moment, and our signature lyric stalking, and the fact we somehow without coordinating it wound up as Nine and Ten with incredibly similar speeches in our signatures.

Because of Daniel's comment from awhile back on Katie's blog.

I don't know if this was intentional in the Things You Shouldn't Say During Sex thread but I just read it and I died...

Going off what other people have said above, I love how active the staff are. I'm always seeing staff members posting blogs or writing comments, or being in the forums, and it makes them seem more approachable.

I love how I can talk about my current writing "babies" as well the ones from my past that are now reminders
that I have a better understanding of my writing style, grammar, etcetera. Plus, where else would I be able to
discuss writing blunders with other people who will share theirs as well?

There's just something about having common experiences during our fledgling writing days. //nostalgia.

I really love the February challenge. It's such a great idea. I liked seeing everyone's blog over the past couple of days, and I like seeing other people introduce new members today. I hope there's other challenges for other months.

I did that before I fell asleep last night and I think we ran out of new members because all five I posted to already had two comments from others. lmfao

    February challenge is great.

I complain about Mibba quite a bit but I have a lot to be thankful for. It saved my writing and gave me the potential to be an awesome writer. Everytime I think about leaving permanently I take a moment to remember how far my writing has came since my Quizilla days. Yeah, they're still quite shitty compared to some user's stories but at least now they are easier and somewhat more enjoyable to read.

I just forgot the rest of what I was going to type and that makes this very awkward. I'm gonna go now.

I love that Mibba bans people for breaking the rules. The rules are there in black and white in the Knowledge Base, and since they aren't senseless I love the way they are enforced. Countless warnings before a perm banning? Sounds like a great system. At least I know someone won't get away with bashing me, ridiculing me, stealing my work, or anything. Whereas on other sites it would be okay for someone to tear me down as a person.

As a privately owned website, I think it runs pretty well. Yeah it runs slow, yeah it goofs up, but at least we aren't having to pay a subscription fee or something. This is basically a one-man cow-boy show, I couldn't imagine having to pay for something like this on my own without asking any of the users to help. Think

I love the users that I got to know and the ones in the future that I'll get to know. Majority of the users I've met are smart, caring, kind, unique individuals who can carry a decent conversation. And understands my quirky sense of humor and doesn't call the cops on me for my undeniable creepiness.

    I love that you're on Mibba #creepin #ishouldbeasleep
But in all seriousness I love the people that make light fun of the problems Mibba has and I love the people that stick around and don't bitch about it. Mibba has been through a lot and we've grown to adapt to the site's glitches but I love that some people just don't care and carry on doing what they do anyhow.

This is exactly what I owe Mibba as well. Without the constructive criticism I've accumulated over the years, I'd still be writing god-awful stories about being kidnapped by my favourite bands. I wouldn't know how to properly write dialogue and I wouldn't have a clue how to write an informative article.

(and for what it's worth, I don't think your writing is shitty at all Cute)
I love Mibba because, despite the fact that it crashes and some people argue and the community spirit has admittedly dwindled, there are still several groups of users who are super-active and show a lot of love for the site. I love that we have people who will always try and kick-start the community again and will probably continue to do so until the site is back to the community we had in 2009 when I joined. I absolutely adore the fact that most Mibbians have a nice word to say or will randomly strike up conversations with others based on similar interests. I think that's absolutely amazing and it really is what sets Mibba apart from every other writing site for me.

    Awww thank you! Arms
Believe it or not, I like that the same issues are always brought up in the Things You Don't Like About Mibba thread. To me it means that there are no new problems on Mibba that we need to worry about and that the site is doing alright.
