How Do You Like Your Nails?

I used to grow mine incredebly long until they broke but now I cut them about every two weeks. I let my thumbnails grow pretty long though.

I usually just paint my nails black; how original eh? :file:

:grr: They're growing, but not at the same rate. My thumbs and pinkys are getting long, and my ring fingers are catching up, but my left hand is like so much longer than the right. Always happens.

I'm a real freak when it comes to my nails.

They all ways have to be clean and shiny lol.

I do my own, either doing a 'Tara style' french tips (Black base with bright pink tips) or do designs on top of a base coat. I usally pain the with a small paintbrush, doing designs such as stripes, smiley faces, checked, love hears, letters (spelling out a word) or chinese symbols.

Depends how I'm feeling.

My nails get soaked, bufferd, trimed, de cuticled, treated and repainted once a week.
I then cover them with 'Sally hansen - rough as dimonds' top coat to ensure i have no breakage or chiped out polish. Because that looks tacky.

There is always some form of polish on mine. I feel naked without it. xD

I have a tendency to let my nails grow real long then bit them for about two weeks and then I'll let them grow again. This just repeats.

I had to cut my nails for guitar. They're all short, but at least they still have nail polish on them. :tehe:
I found this really cool nail polish and it's black with silver sparkles. :tehe:

Mostly I keep mine plain. I use my hands a lot, so it'll chip off... and i don't take it off, I let it come off naturally, so it looks really bad. Lol.

but when I do paint them, just plain black.

But my school is stupid, in that we can't have black nail polish. It's a school color, but we can't wear it. -rolls eyes-

I bite mine all the time, but I'm trying really hard to stop.. :tehe:
I love using this bright blue BarryM nail paint.. It's weird, but really cool.

I honestly hate fake nails. I tried it once and they just make my real nails hurt and it was annoying to get them off, so that was a waste of time.

I usually keepy my nails super short and painted black. Simple.

I hate having long nails, because for some reason I can never make the white bits look nice and I don't want to bother with manicures when I do so much stuff that would harm them.

I keep mine short and use that clear coat nail polish. Nice looking and low maintenance. :]

It weird, because I hate pink, but oh well.

I went through a phase where I would grow my nails really long then file them square...yeah, it was weird.

now I cut my nails short and paint them with eccentric colors of neon orange and yellow...right now their actually bright pink.

Long, and black.

I just quite biting my nails a few months ago after years of gnawing, and now I'm obsessive with having them long. I love the black because it doesn't clash with anything, and it's so... shiny. :tehe:

And I always file, never clip.

I'm supposed to be keeping my nails short for guitar and cello, but I manage. :file:

I've never bitten my nails in my life, but i HATE the colour of my nails with a passion.

I paint them whatever colour i can get my hands on :XD

Good care and transparent nail polish and they look simple but cute.

My nails always have to be short, or else I bite them because they annoy me. I usually cut them once a week, or else they drive me crazy. I also never paint them, so they're kind of ugly.

I had to clip all of mine because one of my nails broke, so I needed to make it look somewhat even.

But I'm growing them out long, and they'll stay that way.

I always keep them short. Years of training Judo, playing
bass guitar and just out-doors activates meant they had to stay short.
I started with Judo when I was 10 or 11 or something and kept on for years.
So I just got into the habit of keeping them short. They're only long and only
has any nail polish (save for black) on Christmas. Makes mom happy. :file:
Not that I ever really has black nail polish either. I can’t be bothered. x]

I like to keep mine short ^___^ cause dirt gets under them easily otherwise, blegh
Oh, and for the colour atm one hand is dark purple and the other is red, which has been on there for a few weeks.
I did one hand, and got too lazy to do the other xD
Normally i go for purple or blue with mine, i used to have them black alot, not so much now though ^___^
