Note - never wear five-inch stilettos or flip-flops to a hardcore concert.
...or am I the only one dumb enough to do that?

Now that I've wised up, for a concert, I just go for comfort with what I'm wearing. Jeans or shorts, depending on the weather, a tee shirt or tank top, a comfortable, non-bulky jacket if I need one, and my Uggs.

I wear whatever I pull out of my wardrobe and there's no point trying to dress for the weather 'cause where I live, as soon as you get out the door the weather will change anyway.
But when I see people going to gigs in high heels, I just die inside a little. /facepalm

I went to the Bon Jovi concert in State College Wednesday in a pair of boots, jeans and a nice-ish shirt. I bought a Tour 2011 shirt when I got in and put it on over the shirt I had been wearing XD

It was also freaking COLD so I had on a sweatshirt and my coat.

OMG NO! aww no, you're poor feet!

Out of curiosity, don't your feet get reaally hot in Uggs at gigs? I'd never wear mine to a gig, like my feet get so trodden on and messy at the end but that's not a problem with my Doc Martens. Do they not leave your Uggs looking a bit messy?

For outdoor concerts at large venues in the summer time, I find that the less clothing I have on, the better. I honestly don't care what I look like at gigs.

But I'm going to a club to see Buckcherry tomorrow night, and last time I was there, I wore my hair down, jeans, and a long sleeved shirt. It was cold that night, but I was burning up.

I have no clue what to wear tomorrow. =/ I wanna be comfortable, but cute.

If there's a cloakroom you could use that? But those are only really advisable when it's a small-ish gig, otherwise it might take ages to queue.

That's what I do anyway, wear minidresses or shorts and a top so I don't get hot inside and use the cloakroom for my jacket. Though if it's a big gig/no cloakroom, I just freeze and suck it up when I go outside Shifty

With the few bands that actually visit my state (Hawaii) & the consistent weather, my choices aren't necessarily limited. A couple of my favorite outfits are:

    1. My black off-the-shoulder British Invasion shirt, cut-off shorts and black boots.

    2. The T-shirt with one of the concert's bands on it, a plaid button down over it, cut-off shorts, fishnets, riding boots.

And for colder nights, 3. A black wife beater with my boyfriend's jacket, tights, and my favorite pair of Chucks.

Black is my signature concert color considering if people throw around their food and whatever, it's not a big deal verses white clothing. Black V-necks are especially cute for concert excursions :3

It really depends on the weather.
When I saw My Chemical Romance this past winter, I actually planned ahead (for once) and took my huge purse so that when I got inside it would hold my winter coat and extra hoodie (since it was like 5 degrees, too cold!). But I actually wore non-concert attire, at least for me, because I had a huge presentation that day and didn't have time to change.

But usually I just wear my Converse, Sperry's, or Toms, skinny jeans, and a cute shirt.

Occasionally I'll break out my riding boots, depending on the show.

I just wear jeans and a t-shirt with Converse or Vans. I'm almost always skanking/moshing/in a circle pit, so I don't wear anything that I care too terribly about. Sometimes at outdoor concerts I'll buy a sweatshirt that I like to keep warm.

Although at Warped Tour I wore jean shorts and a tanktop because it's always a million degrees at the Carson show.

Something I can move in and won't die from overheating. Last concert, this past weekend, I wore yoga pants, a T-shirt and a zip hoodie because it was only 30 degrees out. I left my coat in the car because at a punk gig it just gets too hot - even when you're not in the pit. And plain 'ol Converse so I wouldn't slip on all the beer.

You could say I wear my everyday clothes. I don't see the point in dressing up - no one is there to see you. And I don't want to lose or rip anything I care much about. I already had holes in the hoodie.

During the winter/cold times, converse, jeans and a t-shirt. In the spring, converse, jeans and a tank top. In the summer, converse, shorts and either a t-shirt or tank top.
NEVER wear a hoodie/jacket to a concert if there's a possibility of being in or even near a pit. Just saying.

For this Future Islands gig tonight, I'm wearing black tights, cutoff jean shorts, an over-sized button-down and riding boots. Hopefully it won't get too hot.

My friend Zack went to some local punk band's concert wearing Vans and left with two broken toes. XD He correctly invested in some Docs after that.

So I'm guessing flip-flops are a no for concerts then? And the sturdier shoes the better? What about hair. Does anyone do anything special with hair for a concert?

^ Definitely no flip-flops/slip-ons if you're gonna be in or near a mosh pit. Same with the hair, unless you use laaaik 14 tons of hairspray.

Personally, I live in Colorado, so it's usually really fucking cold beforehand, so I have to either brave the cold or brave the mosh pit with a jacket. I usually wear a plain tank top, colored or black skinnies, and Dr. Martens or converse.

NEVER WEAR FLIMSY BOOTS THAT BOTH LACE AND ZIP. YOUR LIFE WILL BE HELL.

I want to wear something fun and ridiculous (but concert appropriate) to my FOB show. I'm thinking about a Max-style crown and my WTWTA shirt.

The weather is always hot in Singapore, so the ideal concert wear will be skinnies, tee and sneaks. That's what I wore to Muse and Click Five. I dressed up a little when I went to see MCR by wearing a red tie with a black blouse. Thank God I wasn't strangled or something along those lines while moshing, haha! I don't understand how some people wear skirts to gigs. Don't they get groped?

I always say I'm going to be sensible and wear decent clothes, but more often than not I end up wearing converse, shorts and ridiculous looking tights with a band tee. Considering I live in Scotland where it's pretty much permanently raining/freezing, it's a bad idea. You'd think I'd learn, but no. I continue to dress like I'm in Spain. Facepalm
