Mibba in Schools

I really wonder if my old school has mibba blocked.
I hated websense, it sucked. I remembered wasting class time looking for stupid things to get around it to go on myspace.
Oh, and they had blocked google images too at our school.

I remember from my old school that you couldn't get on Mibba, or any social networking site, or any page that had a swear word on.

Yet, you could get pictures of naked women off of google. The kid who sat next to me in IT class used to spend the whole time looking at porn.

Block the writing site, leave the porn unblocked. Make's total sense. :file:

I'm not in school anymore (obviously.) but I could tell you for sure that Mibba would have been. Most message boards were blocked at my school. And this was three years ago - we thought it was strict then. I hate to think what all is probably blocked now.

It kinda depends on how strict Chris (our ICT dude) feels like being. Atm he's blocking every proxy to every site like Bebo & whatnot.

I don't go on GSB, so I wouldn't know, but I know INO isn't at my school. I go on there to stalk the forums on occasion.

I'm too scared to go on Mibba at school. No one in the school that I know of has a Mibba, so I don't think it's blocked, but the lab teachers can look at your screen while you're on it from their computer...and I don't want anyone to know what Mibba is, so I'm terrified to even go on it at school.

It's not blocked at my school! I only have time to go on at home because we have a lot of work to do at school. :XD

Mibba is pretty much the only normal site not blocked at our school. Surprising.

Yeah that is so true. They don't know about Mibba at my school; myspace is popular so that gets blocked. Unblockers get blocked too.

We have and internet quota of 25MB per week at school now. Personally, if they're gonna give a quota like that they should get rid of the blockers. It's the student's responsibility if they waste that 25MB on myspace etc and can't do research for a class project at school. :file:

But I can half-access it through this site. For some reason it doesn't display the site properly, but I can check my story comments and post on the boards. I can't, however, view comments.

In the end, I guess it's for the best. I'd never get any work done if I could fully access the site. :tehe:
