It's just another movie genre children shouldn't be a part of in anyway. If you're older (not like, 30, but not my age) and you and your signifigant other want to watch it and then have sex, it's normal. If you come home from high school and watch a bunch of gangbang-internet-porn, you could have a problem.

I used to have a porn addiction. Now I think it's the most disgusting thing in the world.

What about the in between things?
Like, I don't have a significant other, so I obviously can't watch it with him/her.
So if I watch porn by myself (my personal favorite is something degrading) and then masturbate, do I have a problem or am I normal?
I think I get what you're trying to say, but you picked two things that are so far from each other that it's comparing apples and oranges.

I'm only 14, so that's the best comparison I could think of seeing as I don't watch it. But yes, that's typical as far as I'm concerned too. My point it it's okay as long as young children aren't involved and it's not a total addiction.

I think porn is completely okay. If you want to watch it, then why shouldn't you?
Of course, I agree that children should in no way be involved.

I personally don't like it. At all. It just creeps me out to think of someone sitting there, watching porn, and enjoying it, and it creeps me out even more to think people make porn as a full time job.

Just eurgh. It's not attractive, it's weird, and I don't get it. It's like some kind of invasion of privacy... except you've been invited to invade. Not for me. But I know plenty of people who watch it (including my other half) and I try not to think about it because it bothers me quite a bit. :/

Pornography is not a big deal. These people choose to do this for a reason. What makes me laugh is people don't downsize pornography, but they downsize prostitution. It's honestly the same thing -- sexual acts for money.

I think if a person chooses to have sex for money, that's their own business and it should be completely legal. I also believe if prostitution was legalized alongside pornography, there would be less rape victims. Statistics show that to be true. It's all a moral thing, just like birth control to some religions. Hopefully humanity gets over it.

^"It's a matter of morals", is how I read that post. Meaning that the world's moral attitude sort of goes down on the whole prostitution/pornography is immoral thing.

Not everyone in pornography chooses to do it. And not everyone will probably get paid.

    What statistics?

On the topic of morality and pornography, it is possible to not be against pornography morally, but still be anti-pornography industry. That's my opinion on it. I'm not morally against people having sex on camera or voyeurism, but I am against the nature of today's porn industry, and like prostitution, it is rife with exploitation. I like the idea of pornography, but that's as far as it goes for me. The current mainstream interpretation of that idea doesn't do it for me.

I find it very interesting that I feel the exact same way about the popular music industry today. It's eerie how similar those two systems are.

So yeah, I understand what you're saying completely, and I agree with it.

No, to me that doesn't really make sense. Firstly, if "sex is natural", then why should it just be confined to a bedroom? O.o
Secondly, you're "for" pornography because it's a job, but you disagree with sex being on display... it's a little contradictory.
Hmmm...I think what she means is that although she doesn't nessisarily approve of pornography it's just a job and what someone else chooses for their carreer path isn't really her business. Also, she's not against porn because it's sex and sex is taboo (hence sex being "natural") but she doesn't think sex should be public and belongs in the bedroom. - I dunno, could be wrong.

Okay, but it didn't really make sense to me because she said she was for it, but that sex should only be between two people and not put on display. I was pointing out the contradiction.

    Also, lol, old post much.

Well it depends on what type it is.
If it's rape/molestation pornagraphy then d*mn that porn to h**l.
As long as they're safe, then go them. Provides entertainment for me. Cute

But I wouldn't necessarily want my little kid to see it (when that time comes.) But I know at one point they will look at it and will be interested, and there's nothing I can really do about that, other than force them to live in a bubble with protection from the world.
