okay, i'm gunna try not to sould like a total geek here. grammatically, it should be mi-buh, simply because there are two b's. if it were spelled miba, it would be mee-buh. i think mee-buh sounds better though, lol, so that's how i pronounce it :)
    :XD
I like Mi-buh. Mee-buh just reminds me of Wall-e, despite how adorable that robot is.
Also, honey don't forget to watch your capitalization on the boards, otherwise it counts as chat speak. :cute:

In dutch it is pronounced just a [mib-ba], with a very quick second B after the first one. Really funny because whe (The Dutch) are probably the only ones really saying both B's.

If we didn't, it would sound like Mie-bah and it would sound like a strange kind of animal ><

haha nope you aren't the only one :) German people say it like that too. To me it sounds just normal to say it like that.

I say Mih-buh. I mean it doesn't have an e. If it had an e it would be pronounced Mee-buh.

I had no idea so many people were interested in the pronunciation of the website. Ha, ha - I actually expected to get some mean comments from people telling me how stupid I was for not knowing how to pronounce it. =/

Look, guys, all of you (hopefully) passees year four maths.

The double 'b' after the 'i' shortens the letter sound, so rather than the 'i' making an 'ee' sound, its an 'ih' sound. Like, when you say your vowels short and its 'ah eh ih oh uh' not 'ay ee eye owe you'

    Hence, its 'Mib-uh'

Dujo's Croatian and i in Croatian is 'ee.' :coffee:

    But, you are right.
I just never thought about it grammatically.
For a grammar writing site. That's bad.

I say Mee-buh usually. It's just a very weird word. I wonder how Dujo came up with it.
