The Under 5.4ft Club

I'm somewhere between 5'2" and 5'3", but I'm considerably shorter than all of my friends (most of whom are particularly tall) and so I get persistent jokes made about it, but I don't really mind. I'd rather be a bit short than really tall, like some people I know. Anyway, like the fiddling imp said, if you're short then people don't make jokes about your other features.

I'm just 5"4.

my doctor suspects that I may be done growing, if I don't choose to take growth hormone.

I'm so close to 5' 1" but I'm not quite there. I'm still logged under the 5 foot catagory by my doctor. I haven't grown at all in four years. My friend Margo sympathizes with me though, she hasn't grown in that time frame either and she's 4 foot 6.

It bugs me when smaller people tell the taller ones at least they don't run into signs. I'm tiny and I still run into signs and pretty much everything else. My coordination blows.

5 ft 3. have been since I was 16. I'm 21 now and people still think I am 16.

I'm 4'11". I hate it. I get so many comments from my classmates and just...people in general. People will literally come up to me in malls and public places like that and say something like, "Oh, well aren't YOU petite!" And I'm like... :/ I hate it.

I am exactly 5ft 4. I have friends who are shorter than me. I don't mind being 5ft 4. Haha.

I'm right around 5'4", although the doctor's office can never decide if I'm that or 5'3'', because every time I go there they tell me I'm a different height. I have a couple friends that are shorter than me or the same. A lot of girls at my school are on the shorter side, so I don't feel too bad. It's just when I'm hanging out with my boyfriend or a guy who's really tall that I get picked on. My guy friends all seem to be giants. :/

i am 5'2 and 3/4. and i'm 18, apparently when i stand super straight(as in, you can only stand up that straight for a few seconds because the back and neck stretching is ridiculous) i'm 5'3 and 3/4.

i've always had this on/off relationship with my height. i go through phases where i either want to be taller, or shorter. it's weird.

I remember, a couple of years ago, my doctor walked in the room after they had given me my shots for my physical, and the first thing that came out of her mouth was, "You'll be lucky if you reach five feet!"

Did you mean 4' 11"? Because you would be going on 6 feet if you were 5' 11"...

5'3". Compared to most people I know, I'm shorter than them but not by a huge amount, so I don't really stick out. I don't mind it. I'd rather be shortest than tallest, I think.

I think I must be 4'9 or 4'10. Whenever people ask, I always tell them I'm 2'34 or that I'm a hobbit.

I'm almost 5 '1 and I tell people I'm a hobbit. They go along with it because compared to how tall some of them are I am.

I'm 5'4.

^ Lucky. I'd kill to be at least 5' 4".

5'2'' here. I usually like it, except when buying pants, the people who design those sizes must think all women are tall and skinny. We're not!
