The Under 5.4ft Club

Five foot even and I'm pretty much done growing. My younger sister is at least three inches taller than me, and my eight year old brother comes up to mid-chest...baha.

4'11".

I'm 5 foot even, I don't really mind it unless people go on and on about teasing me about it, and people tend to think I'm younger than 20, people usually think I'm 12 or 13.

Hey Im 5 foot 2 and I consider myself fun sized. Especially when people call me short.

5'2" (and a half)

I have to tack on the 1/2 because I've always been short, and even shrunk a bit as a teenager because I have scoliosis (curvature of the spine) and only gained that last half inch back after having corrective surgery on my back.

I don't mind being short, though. I just am. I even make fun of myself sometimes when I can't reach something, asking my taller coworkers for help. "I need your height," is my common way of asking. ;)

I'm barely 5'3" & not getting any taller.
I wish I had a few more inches.

I'm 5'2", and I'm almost certain I'm even shorter than that.
I'm actually a little jealous of anyone who's shorter than me. I enjoy being low to the ground.
Not to mention, guys love short girls. :3

I think I'm about 5'2-5'3. When I was younger, my height used to bother me, but I don't really mind it now. Especially because most guys are taller than me and hugging tall boys is always a wonderful thing.

OOOOHH MYYY YAAAAY I'm not the only one!! Ahahaha! yessss. I am four foot ten and a half and I am near the end of my growth spirt. High school is hard but I seem to be very good at volleyball and track so not many people bother me about sports. But my friends sometimes make jokes like how I'm going to need a footstool for my wedding... Aha! I think they might be right when that time comes! Don't worry those under five feet, heels look the best on you!

But most of my family are short anyway, I at least thought I'd be the exception and get my dads tall genes (My brother and sisters dad is rather short).

I haven't checked my height in a while, but I'm one of the shortest people in my class. It's genetic though. My family consists of short people with strong, bulky legs.

Last time I checked I was 5'0, but before that I was 5'½. So obviously some people don't know how to measure.

On the bright side, I can go to the cinema and pay for my entry less money by saying I'm 12 years old, and they'll believe me.

I'm 5'3 and I think I stopped growing when I was about 12 years old. It doesn't bother me anymore, luckily my boyfriend is tall so it compensates for being so short

I'm about 5'2 and yeah it's not so bad.

Sometimes it's just annoying when I can't reach the top shelves in a grocery store and have no friends or family with me to help. Well, usually my slightly taller twin sister is with me but it doesn't do much since we're identical. :D

And it's a pain in the butt to try to find jeans that fit correctly, the leg is always too long and slips under my heel. Thankfully I can get them shortened. On the bright side, as someone mentioned before, there seems to be a lot of shirts and shoes on sale that I can buy! the small sizes don't sell that well as compared to the medium ones.

One of my and my sister's friend is like a head taller than us, and when her father saw us (our friend told us this afterwards) he had been all 'are those girls really your friends? they're so short.' He didn't mean it badly, and now we always laugh about it.

I'm 5'2. I enjoy being short.

99,9999% of the time I love it.

I just found out that I'm 5'3". (I thought I stopped at 5'2".) Either way, I'm angry that I got the short height from Mom's side of the family, because my dad is 6'1", and everyone on his side is 5'8" or taller. It's the only appearance-thing I didn't get from him.

And I'm still the third-tallest out of the 15 (give or take) people on Mom's side of the family!

I'm 5"1, so, stereotypical Asian girl I guess. I like and dislike my height because I can
wear high heels and not be "too tall" but then I get called tiny and cute which gets tiring.
The most annoying thing about being short though is pants / leggings being too long.

I'm either 4' 11" or 5', both tape measures in my house tell me a different thing.
I like being short because I can wear wicked heels, which I LOVE, but being short makes you a target for bullies... and gives them something to pick on. Plus you look stockier than you really are; and getting called "cute" gets EXTREMELY old after a while.
