I'm designing the layout for this story. I'm intending on using a font that isn't a Mibba default on a simple banner-type graphic (which you can see here), but it won't load or show up. I did make my own graphic for the background but I don't think that would hinder this one showing up on my computer.

Maybe it's just my computer that it isn't showing up on? I don't really know. I copied the direct link from my photobucket to the story title background image link box thing where you create layouts. The backgroud one loaded, but this one won't show up. Maybe like ten pixels off the top will load, but that's about it.

I tried saving it as a .jpg file, in case it had something against .png files (even though it shouldn't because the background was saved as a .png file), but that didn't help at all.

How can I go about fixing this?

The story title section only allows so much to fit in the area.
To get the area bigger, you have to increase the font size.
If you increase the font size, it will cover up your graphic.
My suggestion would be to put in the story area section and make your story title size zero.
It's what I do for mine.
It's really the only thing you can do, unfortunately.

To put links in anything you used [url=put link here]here's my link[/url], but I don't think you're supposed to put links in your stories (even though people still do it).

Depends on the link a lot of the time.
If it's a link to a character sheet or picture it's not allowed.
But if it's a link to the sequel or another story or a banner somebody made you, that's allowed.
[There are other 'allowed' ones, I'm sure, I just can't be bothered to make a huge list.]

Yes. So long as it is not one of the words that are completely banned from Mibba and it doesn't break the rules.
You can't have 'so and so is a motherfucking skank whore bitch' in your sig.
