Simple Plan

Yes, that would be fantastic! Pierre said on that thing on Tumblr that'll be something fans will like/want. So, here's to hoping :D

I never realize how much I miss listening to Simple Plan. I never really got into their self-titled album, I wish it was a whole lot better than it actually was. :/ But I watched the video for Summer Paradise on MTV over summer (which is actually just ending now down at the bottom of the world) and I've been so keen to go out and buy it, but haven't ventured down enough hills to the Warehouse to actually get it. But I will, because all the songs from their new album I've heard so far sound really lovely and different(ish) and just flfsdf,dlsfs.

And in Summer Paradise, I noticed they were in Australia (and they shouldn't have put so much vegemite on their toast, because then they wouldn't have scrunched up their faces as much as they did) and I feel like I've missed them in a concert. :/ I don't even know if they toured/will tour NZ with Get Your Heart On. But I would like to see them again, because the last time I did...it was 2005. I would like to see them after making it through the friends and family of that time to say Hey guys! You got me through and I'm still here!

^They said they'd do a proper Aussie tour sometime this year so I hope they get to NZ for you! They did an East Coast Australia promo tour in September/October last year, so that's where that footage came from. :D

^ Well that's good it was a promo tour. :) I was feeling so gutted that I might have even missed a possible tour date in NZ. But if they're doing an Aussie tour, they probably will pop over the ditch for a show (or hopefully two).

Yeah, it took me a few watches of the video to actually see what was going on and I was just like you fools, vegemite ain't something pretty when you load it on like nutella (if nutella is a big thing over in Canada?). You feel really bad when people load it on and say they hate it and it's like but you're not meant to do it like that! And then they don't eat it ever again. :/

Do you (or anyone else) have the album? I could just type this into google I'm sure, but hey. Is every song/most songs done with other people throwing in some singing with the band? Because the three songs I've heard on the telly and such all have featured artists, and it's kinda cool because it helps with the vibes and such, but I was wondering how many songs are like that and what they boys are up to with that. :)

They have French versions on the album? That's cool. I don't think I've ever heard them singing in French (apart from a countdown on a radio sing song thing for Shut Up). It's cool they've got collaborations though. :)

I went and looked for their album at the Warehouse on Tuesday and they didn't have it. :/ Think I'm gonna have to buy it online from Marbecks (edit; just bought it online), and on the site it says:

The French version of Jet Lag is only on itunes I believe? And that's the only song that's got a French version.

Ahk, well then. :) I think they should do French songs a lot more, not that I speak French, but it's always cool when a band does songs in English and their own languages. :)

Haha no...I think he has commitment issues or something...he had one called Luanna before Ali that's the only I've known and after Ali it was Audree (a high school friend) and then some woman called marie-pierre...Dunno if he's still dating marie-pierre...heard they broke up cause he was with their band for one of their tours I think so they got together then but I've heard they aren't together anymore.

I'm excited to see them on May 2nd :D

I don't even know why, but David's love life always seems more interesting than everyone else's. :) I remember back in 2005 which was like the peak of my adoration for Simple Plan, having fact files off the internet about them. :) None of them ever used to say anything about girlfriends though. :/ Unless...is Jeff married? Or used to be all those years ago....?

Jeff's single now from what I've heard...and they still don't say anything about their girlfriends...especially now that Pierre's a father and Jeff has 2 daughters also...They keep their private lives to themselves which I actually find good to be honest.

...so private I didn't even know Pierre is a father. ;) I had a feeling Jeff would be the family man of the band, but I do agree. Keeping their private lives private is good. :)

Haha well Pierre said in an interview that he was a father he just didn't say anything about his daughter...Lachelle had her in October or November one of the two lmao and yeah he is. Yep! They s houldn't have to tell their private lives to the whole world.

Yeah, exactly. :) But that's cool they've got kids and all. :)

And my CD came in the post today! :) And they lyric book thing is cool! I love how it's just notes and all. :) It's really cool. And I'm putting the cd on my laptop now too. :)
