I can't write stories on paper. The creativity comes only when I'm typing.

I usually write my stories on the computer since I can type faster than I can write; I can get the words down quicker. But if I come up with an idea when I am not near a computer, I just write it down on paper.

Paper. Because, I love having a notebook in which every page is written on. It's an awesome feeling. Plus, being on paper, it means you then have to type it up, which means you actually have to read through it again and gives you a chance to edit / change / rethink bits.

...Paper gives you more time to think about what you're writing. And you can't erase what you've written. So even if you don't like it when you've written it, you still have it for later - just in case you go back and read it and think "Hey, that actually isn't as bad as I thought."

I prefer computer, just because I can type really fast and can get out all my thoughts quickly, also I tend to write a lot and I hate getting hand cramps. But in saying that, I also have about fifteen random notebooks in my room completely filled with stories.

I prefer typing for one of many reasons.

One my hand starts to hurt after a while from writing for whatever reason. I find writting in cursive to help though.

Two. Because I do a lot of sports I might sometimes have an idea after a game or a practice and my hand usually shakes a little because of how much I use my hands.

Three. I've written on paper and the shit get's lost, smear, crumpled, wet, the whole nine. Typing is more reliable because you could always save it to a hard drive or a USB drive. There's just so many things you can save it to. But paper just get's ruined and it's ruined.

And I type faster than I write. My mind moves too fast for my hands and even sometimes for them when I'm typing so writing will only make things worse.

I can't stand dull pencils and lead pencils break easily when I write (cause I write in cursive) and I tend to find concentration better when I'm on the computer as opposed to writing. That goes for everything.

I only write on paper when I don't have computer access. Otherwise, it's straight to the sheets and I'll type it later.

I plan stuff out on paper but write the story on my laptop. I write the actual thing on my laptop because it's so much faster than having to wait until I can write down the whole sentence.

It depends on the story but it's all across the board that the majority goes down on the computer. Some scenes need to be on paper first, though. I write differently on paper than the computer.

Lately I've been preferring paper. There's just something about buying a pretty notebook and then sitting down and writing a story in it. In Love

Plus, like Vonny said, I like being able to re-edit when I actually type it up on the computer. I also think that writing on paper, for me at least, since I type much faster than I write by hand, gives me time to actually think about what I'm putting down. It's not much for getting word counts for me, but when it comes time for content, I prefer paper.

    Both.

I like the computer because I type fast and don't waste my time erasing things. It's easier, but I still like paper because than I can write ideas down and notes, than edit into it when I type it up.

I perfer writing if on paper because I love the ideas, I get more ideas when I'm writing it out on paper, I'm not sure why, and it also does help when I'm typing it out, I get to proof read. Its just recently though that I've been on a bit of a paper spurt.

I used to only write on paper but everyone kept asking to look at the stories and it really got on my nerves. I know that sounds ridiculous but when I write I often delete/scribble out whole paragraphs and then it gets all messy and my handwriting's really messy so I have to decipher it for them. So, in short, I find typing easier although I have a shared computer so I can't be on for long and it makes my eyes hurt :D

I kind of can't write on paper properly any more. The ideas just don't flow as well as when I'm typing for some reason, and I find it easier and more convenient to type. I only ever write on paper if I'm nowhere near a computer and I literally have to get the idea out then and there.

I like the computer because it is a lot faster to get things out. I like writing better though, because I seem to get better/more ideas when I am writing. I rarely use a paper, though, because I hate typing out what I have written. Its a hassle.

Recently, I've gotten rather fond of writing stuff out on my phone. It means I can write stuff on the bus without looking weird. File

I much more prefer the computer. Ideas come out as fast or at least a tad bit slower than my fingers and it just looks better to me in the long term when I type it out. The computer can give you word count, allows you to constantly back up your work and it tends to help organize things better.
Paper is good at times, sometimes a nice break from the screen, but my fingers always end up feeling weird after writing fiction on paper.

I like writing on paper before typing. It improves my handwriting, forces me to stay focused on the story rather than get on the Internet, and gives me the chance to edit things later on that I would have overlooked if I'd just been typing. (:

When I first started writing, I preferred paper over the computer. There was just something about having my ideas written down on paper that I liked. (Maybe because I could have with me at all times.)

Nowadays, though, I prefer a computer over paper becase, for some reason, my words and ideas seem to flow better when I'm able to just sit down and let my fingers go to work. Plus, if something doesn't work, I don't have to go erasing and rewriting and all that jazz.

But I still write rough drafts and outlines on paper from time to time, like if I'm trying to get through writer's block or if I just want to brainstorm, but I don't feel like firing up the computer because it's quick and simple, and because I always have paper and a pen with me. And I keep a few notebooks by my bed, just in case I get an idea in the middle of the night and I want to jot it down so I don't forget it.
