I like computer more. It can check ur grammar and spelling mistakes(which I tend to have alot) but in school, during periods, I'll use paper. (No choice :D )

I like writing on the computer for a few reasons-
I type faster than I write, it's neater, and I can easily go back and change things if necessary. My spelling's pretty bad, so it comes in handy there too.
Not to mention my handwriting would be, like, font size 20.

    ^ I agree.
It is easier to type than to write, for me.

Also, my writing is terribly messy when I want to write fast and oftentimes I can't even read what I write.

I write the rough draft on paper, once I hit the inspiration to write whatever that has on my mind. But the actual whole constructing of the story and had an actual realization is once I type it in my computer.

I normally use my computer for stories because it's faster and I fit five words on a line of A4 paper. However, I use paper for poems and songs and music, unless I'm using Garage Band/Logic, and I always carry a notepad to write down inspiration or new words that I like the sound of.

Personally, I prefer to write on the computer. I have humiliating enough handwriting as it is, whether I'm writing in pen or pencil (but when I write in pencil, I need one of those clicky ones. A sharpen one just won't do. :XD)
Anyway, when it comes to typing, I'm faster at it than I am at thinking of a really good thing and then quickly writing it down. Not to mention most of my time is spent sitting in front of a computer, anyway (unless you count being in school.)
But also if I make a mistake in a word I have my trusty spellchecker. Whereas, sometimes when I write, I don't know what the hell word I might have been trying to spell and might take a while to figure out what exactly it was.
The only time I really ever write out a story or something on paper is if I'm bored in a study hall or something.
Also, I don't like writing things out on paper first because then my ideas completely change. Like, I'll have a really good idea that I want my character to do and then they end up on a tour bus with some rock band. :?

I tend to leave my stuff lying around a lot, so writing on paper probably isn't such a good idea. I like the computer better anyways because it's more... convienant, I suppose, because I can work on my stories while on MSN or whatever.

When I first started it was all on paper, then I'd type it up. Paper used to be more appropriate but since my handwriting sucks and it gets worse when I'm in the car I stopped. Prolly saved a lot of trees >_>

Then I went through the 'type-everythihg-straight-to-the-computer' phase since it's more effortless and less time consuming.
then my laptop crashed. >_< lost everything that wasn't backed up including two new original stories (one was I intended to publish when it's done).

So currently, I'm typing up everything within my cellphone (even though it crashed earlier -months ago- and I swore I'd never do it again >_> ) . Typing in the Notes section is better, faster, and you can make all the mistakes you want then you'd fix them when typing it all up again.
So piece of advice, when writing on the laptop back everything up.

I always write on the computer, because I don't feel safe writing on paper. People can find paper, not computer files. :shifty

I just prefer actually typing it too, because you can cleanly edit things straight off, instead of having to cross out, scribble, cram in extra ideas or changes. It probably helps that I touch type, so really I'm a faster typer than I am a writer, and I can get whats in my head out much more quickly and smoothly without forgetting what I was about to put down.

I like typing on the computer because it takes less time and there's spell check and synonyms.

Whenever I write, I take too long and I'm not a very patient person. I try to handwrite things as little as possible.

Paper. My writing speed is much faster than my typing, so I can write my thoughts before I lose them. And it's easier to show Serena or Bri my journals since I never see them when a computer's easily available.

    Lately I've been preferring paper.
I'm not sure why, but when I sit down at the computer I'm having trouble coming up with anything to write. But the second I sit down with a notebook and a pen, I have 1200 words.

I always write on the computer. I type quickly but I can't read my own handwriting if I write too fast. :XD My ideas come in spurts of a couple minutes here and there, so I like to get it all down as fast as I can. I've also always hated editing a paper by hand because it's way too messy and hard to follow.

My story "Run Away With Me" is written in a notebook and then edited and typed up onto here. :cute:
I prefer paper to computer. I like having a product in my hands.

I prefer the computer because my hands are too lazy to write. I find it much easier to type. And my handwriting is horrible, even I myself don't understand my handwriting well, and I edit way too much, I find it easier to edit on MS Word :XD
