Does anyone know where I can watch season three online besides hulu.com? I'm impatient and don't want to wait for the DVD when it comes out in May, and the countless four minute clips on youtube are not enough.
    Tvplush.com might work too.
Am I the only one who thinks the whole "Eric without memory" storyline seems really irksome?

^ I agree. It's annoying, and I have a feeling that the storyline will be completely over-stretched or completely different to the books (not that I'm complaining, some of their tweaks from the novel to the show have been really...interesting). I'm not looking forward to the "memory-less Eric" storyline very much. He's my favourite character because of his ruthless nature, intelligence, wit and other things, so I'm not sure if I want to watch him helpless and totally dependant on Sookie...

Considering how much the writers tweak aspects of the novels to help write the show, I'm interested in seeing how the fourth season works anyway, in all honesty. I'm not really sure how they're going to impliment the storyline though, and didn't enjoy the idea very much in the book anyway, which doesn't help my opinion.

^ I completely agree with you. I'd seen season one and two before the books and I loved both, but I'd read book three first, and although I like the show and the book and appreciate them separately, it's weird seeing how they changed the plot. I'm completely looking forward to memory-less Eric though Weird

and iwatchtruebloodonline.com is good for watching the show.

I kept getting confused because I watched the show before I'd finished reading the books, and they brought in things early (such as Sookie being part fairy) that I didn't know about and then got frustrated when I eventually got around to them being introduced in the books because I'd mixed the books and the show's details up. I just try to think of them as two separate things now though, purely to prevent confusion. Though I'll always re-read the novel that the season is based on, just so that I have a slight understanding of what to expect if I've forgotten. tehe

There are certain things from the books I would love to see on the show, simply for the visual physical representation of them, but I think at this point in time a lot of the books wouldn't work for True Blood. But I wish they would make up their mind if they are going to stay along the books (such as the Eric storyline for season 4) or go off and focus on a main storyline throughout the show. True Blood seems to have a problem with trying to put too much into such short seasons.

To me trying to mix the book events in with the purely show events make True Blood seem like a confusing fanfic most of the time.

I will try all those websites. Thank you all. Arms

Eric's memory loss is irksome. I'm not that far on the books but I'm told in the books that Eric becomes a completely different person because of the memory loss, which I guess is a given because he doesn't really know who he is. I think Eric is one of the best characters of the series and the memory loss could ruin a lot of him. I hope its only temporary.

I didn't know Sookie was part fairy Shifty Thank you Wifey Grr tehe

I'm on season three, and I'm unsure whether I like how they have changed it from the books, what with Tara and Bill. I think you felt more sorry for Sookie when you didn't know where will was and you felt angrier at Bill for *raping* Sookie. As I haven't finished the season yet, I don't know if this even happens or how they do it, but I hope it's good.
That's the thing I like about the books, all the characters seem to have their flaws, like Bill, and it makes it more gripping I just hope they won't change most of it for the show.

    I've finished season three completely.
When I watch things online it kind of puts me off anyway, but I'm not happy with the end of season three. I'm not sure how they're going to fit in memoryless Eric from book four (which I was really looking forward to Grr) and I think the book plot revolving Sookie/Eric/Bill was brilliant, but I never mind what the show does with other characters.

I need to work on separating the show from the book tehe

Eric with lose his memory in the series which is coming out in the summer. It's only TWELVE epsiodes long though. Which is just crap. I was looking forward to the Eric memory loss. And the witches are going to be super main that series. They're basically doing a mini series of book four. Which is rubbish because it was one of my favourites out of all the books.

Aren't all of the series twelve episodes long anyway? And I'm not understanding your opposition to their proposed season four, with Eric's memory loss and the inclusion of the witches. All of the seasons have been versions of the novels, so surely they would keep along with that whilst making the fourth season? Yes, they've strayed somewhat, and have on occasion introduced facts a little earlier in the series than when they appeared in the novels, but I think that works, personally.

Not to have a go or anything, I'm just a little intrigued as to why you're not a fan of their proposed ideas. Shifty And the fourth book is one of my favourites too.

But they've made a mini series of each other book, and they fit a lot into each one hour episode. I believe they will do the storyline well - the clip I've seen so far is even better than I imagined so I have trust in Ball in doing the best job for season four. At least they're doing the memoryloss plot line, I'd heard they weren't.

And is Tara getting cut out of the show? She's been annoying me of late but I wouldn't mind if she has a less angry plotline.

I have finally seen all of season three and I think it's my favorite so far. I liked seeing into Eric's past, his real reason for getting close to Russell. I didn't have much of an reaction when Bill told Sookie she was a fairy, I don't know, I guess I expected something bigger than fairy; it's very blah to me. I really like Alcide. I think he and Sookie are cute when they're together but as friends. Eric/Sookie is my OTP.

The one thing I really didn't like was Tara. Yeah, she went through a lot trauma, but she basically spent twelve episodes crying. It got boring after awhile.

^ Tara is really annoying, I hope she doesn't return in season 4, or if she does, she bloody sorts out her problem!

I thought Sookie could have reacted better to the fairy thing, I didn't think it was dealt with well.

How's everyone finding season four? I've only seen one episode so far.

^ Yes. I hope her problems get sorted out. I won't be able to handle it if she just cries for another season. Everyone is saying how they like her more now that she's a lesbian but that doesn't change my opinion of her.

As for season four, I've only seen the first episode and I liked it. I'm excited to see what develops with Eric and Sookie.

What I don't really like is the story they're doing with baby Mickey. I hope they don't make Arlene do something stupid because she fears her baby might end up like Rene.

^ I agree with the baby. I hope Arlene doesn't go apeshit or nothing OMG NO!

As for Tara, she isn't getting on my nerves like season two or three anymore. But, I fear now she will. She will bring up old things even if she moved on and became a lesbian. XD
As for Sookie and Eric, hmm... Let's see what developes!
I don't like Bill no more, because he's acting like a bit of an asshole.

:D Can't wait for the next episode!

^ I don't like Bill anymore too. I started hating Bill in season three but I prefer season one Bill to any Bill.

Is anyone else mad that Hoyt and Jessica seem to be growing apart again?

Season three Bill was annoying as wel. Grr
OH MY GOD, I KNOW! Twitch I'm just worried they might split.

They're the cutest couple ever. But then again, Jessica might ruin the relationship.

By the way guys, my computer is slow and although I have a vague idea of what would happen, can you warn against any spoilers? I need to wait for my connection speed to go up before I can watch the show XD

^ Don't worry about it, I'm the only person up at the moment so I've managed to watch episodes 2 and 3 XD I like it so far - I think Alan Ball has done a good job at portraying and creating other plot lines around the show that doesn't include Sookie.

    Tara is annoying me Grr
